Beyonce’s ***Flawless was on repeat. Sasha Banks’ eyes were closed as she sat in her high chair, getting last minute make-up an attempt to not be bothered until it was time to go. Time to turn it up 110%. Tonight was Fanniversary, and another opportunity for the BOSS to continue her reign of power over the EBWF women’s division. It seemed that after Wrestlemania, and the departure of Brie Bella, things died down. The freedom only lasted for the blink of an eye though. Trish Stratus had her sights set on the title, and from there the train continued rolling from its brief stop. And now?

...Are you avoiding Trish Stratus?

Sasha blinked her eyes a few times and looked around her. Fanniversary had just returned from commercial break. Seconds ago, Renee set the scene with the women's champion and was not wasting time getting down to the nitty gritty. Sasha did not like this playing dirty. It annoyed her and made her fidget slightly. Not cute.

Sasha Banks: Me?

Renee Young: Yes, you. And now you’re avoiding my question.

The HBIC clutched a blinged up hand to her chest and looked clearly offended. Her other hand reached up to adjust the title belt slung over her shoulder.

Sasha Banks: Can you repeat the question please?

Renee Young: I’m asking what quite a few of us have been wanting to know for the last month, Sasha. Have you been avoiding Trish Stratus?

Sasha took a step forward and leaned in towards Renee, even removing her shutter shades.

Sasha Banks: Let me hear it one more time, just so I know what to say to you.

Renee shook her head and obliged.

Renee Young: I think you’ve just answered it, but are you avoiding Tris---

Sasha Banks: SHHHH! I can’t even hear the question now Renee. I can’t hear it over all the shade you’re choosing to throw at me. Like I’m some nobody. Like I’m a wannabe. Lookit. I am the women’s champion, Renee.

Renee Young: And you’ve been avoiding Trish Stratus.

Sasha took a step back and sized up Renee. She too shook her head.

Sasha Banks: Do you want to know why I don’t want to be around trash Renee? Because it stinks. You can’t use it for nothin’. It goes in the garbage because whatever it used to be, it just ain’t the same! Everything that was good about it is gone. So that trash gets to hang out in the back with all the other nastiness. It’s supposed to be out of the way and unseen, because who wants to deal with the old, used up trash?

Renee Young: Ok. I think that makes sense, but not with what I’m asking here Sasha.

Sasha Banks: Oh my bad you’re not following, I meant to say Trish instead of trash all those times.

The crowd could be heard booing and it was easy to tell Renee didn’t agree with Sasha either.

Sasha Banks: Does that answer your question, boo boo?

Renee nodded her head.

Renee Young: Yep… I think so. As I mentioned moments ago, tonight you will take on Trish for the title. You haven’t been seen much lately-- some may even say you’ve been lying low. What does that mean for Trish, and yourself?

Sasha Banks: Renee, I’ve been doin’ what a BOSS does, and that’s putting in work. There’s three secrets the BOSS follows to continue to be successful. One is to always put in work where work needs to be done, and two is to never reveal all your secrets… So as for you’s and your question, you can swerve.

Renee Young: I’m not sure what all of the secrecy is about when it’s very well known that your title, as well as your title record, are in danger here. Trish still holds the record for the longest reigning women’s champion and you’re closing in. It seems like between the two of you, you’ve got more to gain from this, but on the flipside more to lose… What is a win tonight going to do for you? What would a loss do to you at this point?

Sasha Banks: Renee just stays askin’ them questions. If none of ya’ll don’t get this already then you’re missing the big picture. When I win again tonight this will finally prove that I’ve beaten every woman there is to beat in this company. And I’ma beat the one who is supposed to be the best at it all, and take that record of hers with me! Then what? People need not be worried about me and mines-- Trash Stratus ain’t winnin’ tonight, okay? You should be out there askin’ her what she is gonna do when I take the last bit of her away. When people look back in the books, they ain’t gonna be seein’ the name Stratus anymore. They’ll see BANKS. ‘Cuz the BOSS is the money! The BOSS is the big shot who took over with no one to stop her! Nobody was even thinking of Trish Stratus until she came to me. She had to force her way in because it’s not like anybody was gonna pick her out. And now with her last ditch effort she wants to try and play me for a fool. Well honey, you's got another thing comin’. I lay low for one month and it’s what these folks want to talk about, because after stayin’ in the game for 8 months, they miss me when I'm gone a week. They WANT to see my face again ‘cuz they miss me. Trish Stratus is down and out for yeeeeaars and no one even questions it, ‘cuz her time been up. This is the year of the BOSS.

Renee Young: It has been quite a year for you Sasha, I can’t deny that. Very few can, but that begs the question of how exactly you’ve gotten this far in the first place. A number of women in the division feel you secured a fluke victory to win the title. How can you continue to play yourself up knowing you may have gotten here on simple terms?

Sasha narrowed her eyes at Renee and pointed a finger at her.

Sasha Banks: Oh, so now I’m a fluke? Does me beating Brie Bella’s bougie ass on two different occasions sound like a fluke to me? How about me beating Natalya? Ain’t she supposed to be like the ring general or somethin’? Oh SNAP. What about that time Mighty Molly came back JUST to try me and then I beat her? I’m more like the superhero here. Beatin’ all these people left and right but still gettin’ hated on. That’s not even all of it boo boo, let me continue.

Renee Young: ...I think you've made your point, Sasha.

Sasha Banks: But that wasn’t a question. You needs to listen better. That’s your job anyway. Don’t you remember that time I even did a two in one? Torrie Wilson and Mighty Molly in the same match. And Torrie is a 10 time champ… So clearly when it comes to the numbers, the only ones that matter are mines. I didn’t get here by doin’ nothin’. So that’s strike two for you. Next please.

The HBIC snapped a finger at Renee, who professionally moved to the final question.

Renee Young: Steering away from the controversy here-- I need to ask something I’ve personally been wondering. How do you feel co-main eventing with Trish Stratus tonight at one of the biggest shows of the year?

The BOSS smirked.

Sasha Banks: You know Renee, I love it. But don’t forget that it’s Trish co-main eventing with me. Don’t get this flipped.

Renee Young: I don’t see how it matters.

Sasha Banks: Are you blind? ‘Cuz you’re not seein’ a lot of things. It’s me. I’m the common denominator here. The BOSS has been exclusive to EBWF’s biggest shows ALL year long! It’s like I’m the movie star and each person I face is just the supporting actress. So ya better roll out the red carpet, ‘cuz tonight is going to be glamorous for me. Bet everyone is gonna wanna snap of me after I snatch Trish bald. Maybe you should get a pic with me now before it’ll be impossible to even breathe the same air as me soon.

Sasha took her gold iPhone 6 plus from her jacket pocket and went to pose with Renee, who politely declined.

Sasha Banks: Fine, be that way. Not like I need anymore followers, so I’ll see you later lame.
