[The stage was set for Monday Night Warfare where six superstars would battle it out for the chance to challenge the current EBWF World Champion, The Miz. Last week on Warfare Solomon Crowe kicked off the night by defeating Roman Reigns and became the first man to qualify, he was quickly followed by AJ Styles, Edge, Randy Orton, CM Punk and Chris Jericho. By the end of the night only one of them will be able to say they are the number one contender and to make sure there are no shenanigans taking place, Stone Cold Steve Austin is the enforcer for this match.
This was one step in the right direction for Crowe after he had failed to make any sort of real impact in the last few months. But he would have his work cut out for him, it looked as if he did next to nothing to prove he deserved the number one contenders spot over the likes of AJ Styles or even Jeff Hardy who picked up a string of impressive victories. He couldn’t let their achievements get to his head and distract him though, he’d have to shoot the latest Crowe’s Nest segment and see what the situation would be when Warfare goes on the air.
The scene opened up inside of the usual setting, with Solomon Crowe sitting behind a desk in a dark room with his tech equipment in front of him. The segment was due to go on air during Warfare before the huge main event. The cameras looked around the gloomy room with Crowe holding his jaw in pain on his chair, he was groaning to himself while tapping on his desk with his fingers, looking around the room and sighing. Eventually he grabbed the camera and held it in place so it stopped moving before addressing the viewers.
SOLOMON CROWE
Well, I finally figured out why they call it a Superman Punch. But that doesn’t matter, because as promised Roman Reigns simply could not get the job done regardless of his determination. Now Roman is one of many whose dreams have been shattered, and it amuses me that he actually thought he could get past ME and get to Survivor Series and take that championship, I guess it’s nice to dream though. Shame, now he’s at the back of the line with the rest of the dreamers and the talkers who think they are cut out for this.
No, nobody else it cut out for this, Six of are left tonight and only one of us will have what it takes to go all the way but I do know that the six of us have something in common. We may hate each other, we may want to kill each other, but we all share one common enemy who we want to wipe out and that is…Vertex.
Now I know, I am one son of a bitch that the locker room hates but The Miz…well…he’s one another level isn’t he? So boys, why don’t we go out there and have fun? Knowing that one of us will not only go on to become the champion, but be idolised at the back once one of us brings down Miz and Vertex at Survivor Series. The fact of the matter is, all of you think you have what it takes, and you probably can defeat The Miz, but you can’t…defeat…me.
You all know it’s true, in your eyes you’re all one victory away from The Miz but this match is an impossible one for you because I am involved in it. And while I am in this match and I am functioning then none of you imbeciles will even stand a CHANCE of advancing to Survivor Series, because I will not let you. I will do whatever it takes, anything…to make sure it’s my music playing by the end of tonight.
[Crowe laughed into the camera and let go of his jaw. He cracked his knuckles and then leaned back in his chair with his arms behind his head, smiling.
SOLOMON CROWE
Ha…who do we have in that ring tonight? Well…we have Jeff Hardy. Certainly a surprising name thrown into the mix to say the least. But credit to him, he has heart, just like Roman Reigns did last week but we all know what happened to him. I know what Jeff is thinking, right now he’s at the back preparing for the match and just picturing Survivor Series. How he will hit a Swanton Bomb or a Twist of Fate on The Miz and he’ll take that World Championship.
Good…that’s good everybody should have an ambition, a dream. That’s exactly what this image of yours will remain, Jeff…a dream. What you don’t realise Jeff is that you’ve already put everyone else in an advantageous position, there are only two sick bastards in that ring who will try to expose those weaknesses and one of those is me.
How is your daughter, Jeff? Talked to her today? God, I bet she’s excited. Her old man in the fight of his life where he can become the number one contender to the EBWF World Championship. But I know another little girl that was watching last week, when her Dad had the same opportunity, and I pummelled his face on purpose to make sure his family got value for money, to make sure his family were entertained and I’ve sent him back to his home where they can tend to him.
So I’d advise you to do the same, make those preparations because after tonight…IF you get in my way…you’ll be seeing a lot more of your family from your bed, but you won’t be able to move sadly. That’s just how the cookie crumbles at times, Jeff. You’ve made yourself vulnerable, nobody asked you to and now somebody like me has to take advantage of that, I guess I can only apologise beforehand.
To me it doesn’t matter what you’ve done, you face-painted freak. You seem to be very proud of this little winning run you were on, you were happy about making a little impact but if you want to see what impact really is, rewind an entire year and look what happened at Survivor Series. THAT was an impact, not childish games like you’re involved in.
[Crowe looked a little angrier after focusing on Jeff Hardy, eventually he wiped his face and laughed, before targeting the next opponent.
SOLOMON CROWE
Then we have…Chris Jericho. Now Chris is somebody I know very well, somebody I have a little bit of history with and it will be good to see him again. It’s definitely been a while and to be honest…I’m ashamed. I am ashamed that somebody like Chris Jericho who I crushed underneath my boot is now a champion who has had a better year than I have had.
Do you know what that does to a confident man? To understand that somebody beneath you is achieving greater things than you? That people are taking HIM as a threat and not me? It hurts, it hurts like hell but that hurt will be NOTHING compared to what Christopher will feel tonight.
He knows what I’m talking about. Go find him and he will tell you that ‘Solomon Crowe is unlike any opponent I have EVER faced inside of the squared circle’. But it only takes one match to change it all, and for me that will be tonight. Because after tonight I finally leapfrog Y2J and take my rightful place as the most important man on this entire roster.
He knows what’s coming, he knows this isn’t just talk and he knows I’m the man he needs to keep all eyes on. He knows that…but we all know that I kicked his ass at WrestleMania in front of every single wrestling fan tuning in from all over the globe, and I’m going to repeat it all over again. Whenever people associate Chris Jericho with Solomon Crowe, they don’t think boss and employee, they don’t think the past and the future…all they think of is how Solomon Crowe kicked Chris Jericho’s ass. Over, and over, and over, and over again.
[Crowe smiled into the camera, clearly excited about the match that was about to take place before banging a few times on the desk and moving on, spinning in his chair.
SOLOMON CROWE
Edge, Edge, Edge. Now what will we do with you? Every single time I forget you exist you just seem to pop up and surprise me, reminding me that you are still alive! Now all I remember of you in my time here is that you are all alone, like me in one sense, that you have no friends but that’s where the similarities end.
The biggest differences between the two of us are that I actually have what you call a career. Now sure I was in my diapers when you were running amok in this ring, doing you thing whatever that was, but times have changed. Now it’s time for folk like you to move on and make room for people like me. But no, instead I have to force myself in and teach people like you a lesson that you’re simply not capable of sharing a ring with me.
I mean we’ve all seen it before, what was it…a street fight in Las Vegas? Something like that. You gave it your best shot though, I mean you still hit harder than some of the guys at the back so kudos to you. But Edge, regardless of the self-belief you gave, regardless of whether you think you have what it takes to go all the way and pull out with the ULTIMATE upset of becoming the champion, much like Chris Jericho…every time you step in to the ring with me I will continue exposing you, because in case you didn’t notice…I don’t get bored of being an asshole. Plus, I know you will have a few fans, scattered around the arena and to see them with a glimmer of hope will be nice…sweet. But seeing their favourite star fail will be even sweeter.
I have to admit though, I am VERY surprised you made it to this six-pack challenge…oh…never mind I’ll edit that part out. You fought Ted DiBiase, what the hell am I saying?
[Crowe regrouped and shifted in the chair, telling the camera he’s good to go again as he exhaled.
SOLOMON CROWE
Now here is a man I have wanted to get my hands on for quite some time now, a Mr. Randy Orton. Legend Killer. Viper. Apex Predator, whatever it is the kids call him nowadays…for me you can class this as a revenge mission. Why you ask? You know exactly why, Randy. Now in all honesty, I don’t have anything against you to be honest because at one stage in your prime you were sick and twisted as well.
You want to hear a secret? The Solomon Crowe you see in front of you, this twisted son of a bitch who loves causing havoc and chaos…he’s modelled a little from you Randy. Growing up, you were either a John Cena fan or you were either a Randy Orton fan. You either wore rainbow-coloured shirts or you walked around crushing skulls. You either loved being hated, or you tried to hard being loved. Well…it’s clear which one I picked isn’t it?
You played a big role in Solomon Crowe, the development of Solomon Crowe, the rise of Solomon Crowe and that same Solomon Crowe is the reason your championship hopes fade, forever. I need revenge from you though, Randy. We faced off at King of the Ring tournament and you somehow, SOMEHOW managed to beat me but rather than go on and become the King and give me ONE reason to smile…you flopped.
You got beat when it mattered the most and stopped me from going all the way. And instead…we had to endure watching Sami Zayn claim the King of the Ring crowd and go on to become champion. So…you took something from me so I will take something from you. Your title hopes end tonight and I will personally make sure that…
[The feed then suddenly stopped, freezing while Crowe was speaking. Colours of purple and green were on the screen and nobody could make out what Crowe was even saying. A few minutes now passed before the feed was restored and Crowe was spinning in his chair.
SOLOMON CROWE
…which means this is meant to be. THIS IS MEANT TO BE! We come full circle. Survivor Series is my event, it’s where I made my name, it’s where Solomon Crowe was born and I can assure you it will happen again. Survivor Series will be the night where people are talking about Solomon Crowe…I can feel it. Something big is going to happen, I can feel it. Something big, something…memorable.
The camera focused on Solomon Crowe’s face who was spinning in his chair, laughing hysterically as he mentioned how he was going to come full circle at Survivor Series and win back the EBWF Championship. All he had to do was take one five of the finest stars in the company to get to that spot, it wasn’t going to be easy.
