Dolph Ziggler was shown walking through the backstage area, and towards the Gorilla Position. The arena was still empty as there a few hours left before the show. Dolph was still in his casual clothes. He liked getting a glimpse of the arena before the fans poured in. He peeked behind the curtain to make sure that nobody was doing any heavy lifting, or that he wasn’t hassling anybody. He took a step but was immediately stopped by none other than Jonathan Coachman, who signaled for the camera man to start rolling without even asking Dolph’s permission.

Coach: Ladies and Gentlemen, my guest once more, Dolph Ziggler.

Dolph: Listen, Coach. I know everybody loves my company, but let’s not make this a thing, okay? If I wanted a date, I would have asked. No offense, you’re just not my type.

Coach: Noted. Dolph, I wanted to ask about your match with Tyler Breeze. You two have been at each other’s throats for weeks, on social media. Do you feel like he’s targeted you?

Dolph: Me? Why would I think that? Because his first tweet after signing his contract, which is probably less profitable than mine, was trashing me?

Dolph’s smile slowly faded into a more serious look.

Dolph: Because his whole shtick is something that’s been beaten to death over and over and over again? Because he’s a self-absorbed prima donna who thinks 1980 is when dinosaurs roamed the earth?

Coach: Do I sense some bitterness there, Dolph?

Dolph: I’m not bitter. I’m pissed off. I’m pissed off that I’m being lumped in with guys who can’t get enough of the spotlight. Coach, I’m not nearing retirement here, I’m far closer to a championship than I am to retirement. Yet, that’s the question everybody’s been asking me. When will I retire? Well, I’ll answer. I will retire once everything I have left to be done is finished. I will retire when I’m six feet under. You know why? Because I am not a fossil, I am the best damn wrestler on this roster. I am so damn sick of being so damn sick, and when Warfare comes, Tyler Breeze will see that I don’t just spit words and look good doing it. Breeze will see that his precious little Cuteville will finally get a glimpse of Perfection.

Coach: Any last words for Tyler?

Dolph: As if Tyler has the ability to take his eyes off his damn phone long enough to see this. Either way, Tyler has been all talk and no action so far. To me, that’s pathetic, it’s an attempt at showing off, and you know what they say about it. I know it better than anyone that it’s not showing off if you…

Dolph signaled for Coach to finish his sentence.

Coach: Back it up?

Dolph: Damn right. And nobody in this universe can do it like I do. So, Tyler, you do your little pouts and duck faces, you show off, I’ll show off too. The difference is, when the bell rings, I. Will. Back. It. Up.

Dolph walked away, through the curtain and towards the empty arena he meant to go in to begin with.
