Zack had been on the phone for the past thirty minutes with his lawyer and his agent in a conference call with members of the EBWF talent relations in regards to a contract they hoped he would sign in the next few hours, Zack knew going to EBWF was what he wanted to do, having just come out of contract with another company he wanted to revaluate himself. Change his gimmick if you will, his catchphrase ‘Woo Woo Woo, You Know It.’ Had become synonymous to him and the Zack Ryder brand so that was staying he just needed to figure some more things out.

Zack left the phone call as his lawyer and agent would deal with all the terms of the contract. He got his manager to get him a flight and hotel to one of EBWF’s house shows as the boards and the rumour mill were running wild with ideas about Zack joining EBWF he wanted to make an impact as soon as it was confirmed that he’d be at the Royal Rumble or as soon as he had been confirmed as a member of the company.

Zack was in his car heading towards the airport when he received an email from his manager with flight times and that there will be someone at the airport with his ticket. He parked his car up and headed inside the airport, the EBWF house show was in Birmingham, Alabama so he took a flight there and on that flight, Zack considered a whole load of different ideas and ways to pursue the rest of his Zack Ryder career.

January 28th 2016
Birmingham, AlabamaZack had slept in a nice hotel over night, he knew what he wanted to do so he just had to wait for the time to show the EBWF fans at this house show before the Royal Rumble just who EBWF’S Zack Ryder will be.

He pulled up to the Legacy Arena in Birmingham and showed his credentials to the stewards who let him in, when he walked in he was greeted by a few fellow wrestlers he had worked with in the past as he walked to the locker room he got changed out of his shirt and tie and then put on his trunks and a black leather sleeveless jacket with a large grey ZR on the back.

He watched the show through the curtain until there was a slot for him and he heard his song blast through the PA ‘Oh Radio by Jim Johnston’ and he came out with his hands in the air and a microphone in his hand, he ran to the ring and let the music play out throwing his fist in the air three times as the crowd chanted “Woo, Woo, Woo” after every fist bump.

Zack Ryder: Thank you, Thank you. Good Evening Birmingham! I am the Long Island Loudmouth, and EBWF’s new Pinnacle of Perfection Zack RYYDEERRR!

The crowd boo and cheer for Zack, and he knows he is getting a mixed reaction.

Zack Ryder: I am in the state of Alabama, the one state that doesn't have a major football team, because no one wants to associate themselves with this state.

Instant boos flow throughout the arena.

Zack Ryder: C'mon guys you know when all you lot grow out of your diapers and actually mature and stop breastfeeding off your sister you'll realise there is more to life than just Atlanta.

Boos flurry once again and Zack just smiles.

Zack Ryder: ...Anyway let me actually get to why I came all the way out here to talk to you guys on my youtube channel, I am back on TV on Sunday at the Royal Rumble where I am going to be in the Number One contendership match for the Breakout Title but we'll get to that let me talk to you about why I am here in the EBWF.

Zack motioned for the crowd to calm down, so he could speak.

Zack Ryder: I was sick and tired of being used as a comedic character on that other show, I was made to job to up and coming faces and it annoyed me, I am easily capable of being the face of a company, I have the mouth, I have the moves, I could easily topple anyone if I had the chance, and at the Rumble I will show the whole company what kind of wrestler I am, when I take on Dolph Ziggler. Sheamus and Tyler Breeze.

The crowd cheered for the other names mentioned.

He said as he got out of the ring dropped his phone and then proceeded to walk out of the arena.
