Hardcore Hellion vs Hometown Hero

[Reborn Matt Sydal]

Matt arrives at the arena on his motorcyle, parking in the talent parking lot. He walks inside
just staring down at his phone at the match card this week and smiling like a kid on Christmas
day. He is interrupted by Rene Young.

RY: Hey Matt, can I interview you?
Matt turns to her

Matt: Oh yea.

The camera crew with her gets all ready.

RY: You grew up here in Saint Louis Missouri, what was it like?

Matt: Midwest vibes. People are extremely nice, help your neighbors naturally type deal. Way different than a place like New York. Not much to do, this is a pro wrestling hotbed like Texas, lots of history here, Harley Race, Orton family. I started as a backyard wrestler here.

RY: You must be viewed as a prodigy town hero here?

Matt: I guess but I just treat everybody the same, I'm extremely lucky to have gone from that 13 year old
who grew up on ECW, Rey Msyterio, Sabu, Eddie Guerrero, even my opponent this week Bully Ray.

RY: Speaking of Bully Ray, what are your thoughts on your match, How are going to face him especially since you've had a rough couple weeks?

Matt: I am stoked to face a hardcore hellion legend like Bully Ray. He's tough, he's brash, he's EXTREME.
What he has to prepare for though is not just some flippy cruiserweight but the best wrestler in this universe.
Educated feet, the best left hand in the business which gives me 50 strikes, a solid sound ground technician with 20 submissions and 11 pin variants. Over 40 aerial moves. In the end I know that doesn't really matter, it's not going to be a series of holds and takedowns,catch hand or submissions and what not.

I'm gonna FIGHT Bully ray, forearms, elbows, punches, knees, kicks, knees, headbutts even biting, scratching, if I have to. I may even put him through a table with the shooting sydal press!

Matt: I'm not blind or ignorant, he's going to beat the shit out of me, but he's never faced anyone like Matt Sydal before.
