Nak AM: Promo Four Ways

Post by Derek »

I.

“Calm before the storm”
A passing teamster chimes to
The King of Strong Style.

All State Arena
Lays eerily still, Like the
Ocean. Like the grave.

Nakamura thinks,
Collecting himself, at peace
But ready for war.

Four men will lock up
But only one will Breakout
And lead the future.

The Lunatic Fringe,
His ways still a mystery
But his danger real.

The dead arisen
And defying gravity.
No, it’s not his time.

The Prodigal Son.
Slothful, wasteful, complacent.
Primed to take a fall.

And the King himself
Telling the Blonde Reporter
“Ask me anything.”

II.

ReneeEBWF: Nakamura, thank you for your time today. After a rocky first month, you have been steadily building momentum for the past several weeks. What do you attribute your recent success to?
Swagsuke: To deciding it was time to be the real Nakamura. I was going a little too easy on everyone the first few weeks, but once I learned they could handle it, I started hitting them hard. Now it seems I might need to start taking it a little easier on them again, they've stopped getting up!
PuroFan11: STRONG STYLE 4 LIFE!
CaptMcPunchy: ^Mark alert ^

ReneeEBWF: You even avenged your loss to Carlito last week, earning you a place in the fatal four way for Carlito's Breakout Championship. How did it feel to get that win back?
Swagsuke: Winning always feels better than losing. My knee is a little bit sore, though. He has a hard skull!
TheJuiceSays: Carlito's been a great champion, very entertaining. I think it's time for him to drop it and move up!
WheresTrent: I think people need to hold on to belts longer, they lose prestige when theyre passed around too much.
TheJuiceSays: For upper belts, I agree. but the Breakout Championship should be a ladder to solid midcard status

ReneeEBWF: For all your recent singles success, your Achilles heel has been multi-man matches. Your debut triple threat, the Wrestlemania ladder match. Are you concerned that this will be another unsuccessful attempt?
Swagsuke: I think my real Achilles heel in those matches has been Kevin Owens, he hasn't beaten me so much as he has not lost to me. I guess I just get so excited by the prospect of hitting so many people at one time that I lose sight of getting the actual win. In this match, I will be trying very hard not to get too caught up in hitting people!
KillSteenKill: Old habits die hard, just like old Internet passwords that still work. Hey, who's this Kevin Owens guy? He sounds swell.

ReneeEBWF: One of the biggest concerns when you came to EBWF was that you would be uncomfortable with promos. How have you adjusted to that?
Swagsuke: Ive been cramming in as much language learning as possible! I think my English has gotten pretty good, sometimes words are hard to find still but other than that it is going very well! But I still prefer to do my talking in the ring! I could easily talk down my opponents next week, all have their strengths and their weaknesses. Sydal is a great flyer and technician but is reckless and too eager to prove himself. Carlito is lazy but only because he is a natural wrestler. Dean Ambrose is unpredictable and tough as leather, but has no plan. I could talk about them effortlessly, I've learned the tricks, but it all ends up sounding the same.

III

OPPONENT’S NAME will be a challenge, he is very ADJECTIVE. I have a lot of NOUN for him and am looking forward to facing him on DATE at LOCATION. No match is ADJECTIVE here in EBWF, but I feel I have all the NOUN necessary to succeed.

See? It’s all very VERB by numbers, isn’t it INTERVIEWER’S NAME? The PLURAL NOUN who live and die by their trash talk, eventually they all need to prove they can also VERB, and once they are in the ring with the TITLE of Strong Style, there will be nothing left to say.
