There’s the uproarious reactions when I jog out from the curtain to the seas of fans usually giving me a ubiquitous positive reaction. It is my duty to give them all I have got, the way I market myself as is a wrestler you will want to see again, again. I’m a very good draw at live events or house shows as they may be called. I give you plenty of amazing moments to capture on video or photo. I love doing this because it is all I have ever wanted. I got an education while I was wrestling, I have a Bachelor’s in marketing, I was a vice president of my uncle’s mail box company. Heck I have even learned quantum physics, I did well in school. Unlike one of my opponents in this match is Baron Corbin, an astounding athlete, very successful grappler and Golden Glove boxer he does not love pro wrestling, I love it man.

I grew up idolizing the likes of The Harts, Geurreros, Sabu, Ricky Steamboat. My main thing I get down on myself about is my confidence, I never want to seem arrogant but I know logically that I am the best at what I do. I want to be champion because the champion does not make the wrestler, the wrestler makes the championship and I can take that championship to higher levels by putting on the best matches.


Saint Louis, Buffalo Wild Wings:

Matt sits across from his new girlfriend Amber, a fit blonde Yoga instructor named Jen, a huge wrestling fan.
Jen: Are you nervous for your matches ever?
Matt: Not nervous but I am aware as every wrestler is of the danger factors. I’m up against talented guys, I really am hard-nosed into winning this match.

Jen: Who’s the biggest threat in the match? You have Baron Corbin, Jay Lethal, Karl Anderson.
Matt: Jay Lethal started in 2001, Karl started in 2002, Baron started in 2012 but he is a legit athlete with a successful grappling background and he’s a two time Golden Gloves champion boxer. Plus he’s 6ft 8. Jay Lethal has held TV, World, Junior Heavyweight and world championships. Karl is a multi tag team champion and world heavyweight champion. I have to stay on my A game.

Jen: Are you excited, your family is going to be there?

Matt: They came all the other times, we visited here in Missouri, plus they will get to meet you.

Jen: I hope it goes well.

Matt: It will, afterwards, we can go visit the house, show you my childhood bedroom, where we can watch some Jushin Thunder Liger tapes and get blazed.

Jen: Sounds fun.
