Friday Night Memphis House Show:
Matt Sydal and RVD lock up. RVD goes into a rear waistlock getting the upper hand as the veteran but Sydal reverses into a Snapmare only for RVD to save himself with a front flip landing on his feet and running towards the ropes bouncing off with a back-handspring Tajiri/ Jay Lethal Lethal Injection style only to be caught by a Slice attempt by his biggest fan, with he reverse DDT Hold but he twists out lifting up Matt Sydal with a northern lights suplex but Sydal lands on his feet and goes for the backslide . . .
RVD rolls with his back over Sydal’s back into a back suplex attempt but Sydal saves himself again with a backflip and a tilt a whirl dropped down to his feet and finally hitting the Slice, the reverse DDT Hold with the leg drop across the neck combo!
Sydal gets a huge pop for one his trademark moves, while seated on the chest of RVD he yanks his leg by the ankle with both hands tugging it towards him as both RVD’s shoulders are down . .

A near fall as the hardcore highflier kicks out.
Sydal goes for an old trademark move with the double Helix a corkscrew version of Jericho’s lionsault but Mr. Monday Night rolls out of the way!
Sydal is grounded and RVD jogs over to the turnbuckle and hops up in a single bound but Sydal rises with a kip up, rolls forward with a somersault jumping up with his trademark high knee to the chin knocking The Whole Dam Show to a seated position . . .
Sydal follows up with his trademark jumping super frankensteiner only for RVD to flip 450 but land on his feet. As RVD turns around Sydal had already ascended the turnbuckle and dives off with his signature Meteora connecting perfectly with the double knee drop to the shoulders and sternum!
Sydal hooks the legs behind him in a seated cradle but RVD kicks out just before 3, Sydal rises to his feet with a reverse somersault and follows up with the standing jumping double foot stomp aimed to the chest but lands on his feet again as RVD writhes out of the way . . .
RVD grabs him by the nape and the top rear belt of his tights tossing Sydal into the corner turnbuckle shoulder first!
Sydal turns and is hunched a bit as he is in the corner and RVD begins running at him repeatedly with shoulder thrusts thrice!
RVD backflips before the final one but as he charges at Sydal again he is booted by the extended legs of Sydal with a ring rope aided front dropkick knocking RVD flat on his back. Sydal skins the cat(Sheamus style) with a backflip and rises up to standing position on the top of the turnbuckle
RVD rolls out of the ring as fans boo in dissapointment at not getting to see Air Bourne.
Sydal thinks on the spot and as RVD turns around from catching his breath he is hit by a flying cross body to outside with the spaceman plancha by Sydal from the top of the turnbuckle!
Sydal gets an uproarious positive reaction as he nails RVD with a left forearm and a right low round kick to the ankle before tossing back into the ring.
Sydal climbs upon the apron but is doubled over by a shoulder thrust from his idol and RVD lifts him up in a suplex but Sydal drops down two knees to the skull and drops down to his feet behind RVD.
Sydal nails him with a clubbing elbow to the back sending RVD to hit the ring apron ropes chest first and bounce back where Sydal jumps on his shoulders pile-driving him with a reverse frankensteiner causing RVD to meet the canvas spiked, planking upright in a forced headstand instantly falling onto his back.
Sydal rushes to climb out the apron but RVD is recovering too much before he can decide to travel up the turnbuckle, Sydal goes for a slingshot-springboard only to be hit in mid-air with a rolling wheel kick to the ribs!
RVD follows up with a cartwheel into a handspring into a standing moonsault to the grounded Sydal and follows up with a Rolling Thunder!
RVD lifts Matt to his feet and nails him with a round kick combo but Sydal evades the rolling savate the jumping spinning back sole butt but RVD also evades Sydal’s attempt at the same kick and follows up with a simple gut kick attempt but Sydal catches his boot on his shoulder and twists legsweeping RVD with a kick to the hamstring grounding him for good and he follows up with his signature standing moonsault and touches his knees in mid-air with a tuck but lands torso first on the raised knees of Mr. ECW!
RVD backs up to the corner, he boosts himself up the turnbuckle still facing forward and taunts with the R-V-D spelling as he points his thumbs at himself and finally goes for the Five Star Frog Splash for the 1-2-3!
RVD’s music hits and the fans go wild and give him the usual You Still Got it chants but an equal amount are chanting for Sydal.
Rob walks over to Matt after his arm is raised by the official and helps him up. They shake hands and Rob puts his free arm around Matt with a respectful bro hug.
They share a smirk as RVD says something inaudible and Matt nods chuckling.
Arena Rooftop*
Matt is on the roof with Rob on the top of the Memphis arena EBWF is having the house show at both getting high.
20 minutes later RVD is over on the ledge of the roof, Sydal freaks out and rushes over behind him.
Matt: What the fuck are you doing man?!
RVD: Pissing off the roof, do it too man.
Matt is reluctant but he shrugs it off and joins in on the debauchery.
