"Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, I am standing here right now with the new Intercontinental Champion and Tag Team Champion, and member of The Broken... Seth Rollins!"
Striker looks to his left, and an embarassed look came across his face, as the camera panned away to reveal Dolph Ziggler, whose anger at the wrong identification could be seen from a mile away. As Striker stumbled for words, Ziggler stretched his hand out and got the microphone from him. He now stood alone in the shot.
"For the better part of this year, I've made EBWF my home. I've fought against old foes like Sami Zayn, and I fought alongside him too. I was the recipient of a beatdown at the hand of "The Last of Us" who suddenly vanished. I fought Tyler Breeze, and he disappeared as well. For the better part of this year, competitors came, and competitors went..."
Ziggler took a deep breath.
"But I stayed here. When the dirt sheets reported that I was leaving, I stuck around because this is the land of opportunity. This is where things are done differently from... Up north. Yet, the Dudley Boyz were Tag Team Champions, and lost to Seth Rollins and Jimmy Havoc... Seth Rollins is multi-champion... And I'm facing The Miz?! Did I hit my head somewhere, or has "the land of opportunity" suddenly become a carbon copy of what goes on up north?"
Ziggler paused as if actually waiting for an answer.
"You know what? Screw this, if I wanted the same old crap, I would have stayed where I was. So, yeah, screw this, remember the DZtruction tour? It's officially cancelled, and replaced with the Dolph Ziggler farewell tour, because this Monday, on Warfare, win or lose, Dolph Ziggler is wrestling his final EBWF match. See you in Connecticut."
Ziggler handed Matt Striker the microphone, and the interviewer wasted no time asking Dolph one more question.
"Dolph, do you really believe that is the best option for your career, could we get some clarification?"
Dolph, who was walking away, stopped dead in his tracks. He slowly turned around and smirked at Striker.
"A clarification? Is that what you want? I'll give you a clarification. The clarification is that night in and night out, I outperform every single wrestler in this hell hole, the reality of the situation is that I am the best damn wrestler walking these halls, and I'm treated like garbage. Miz runs his mouth on how I only had one brief moment of glory, when the only reason I haven't had more is because I don't get the special treatment guys like AJ Styles or Wes Ikeda get. AJ Styles returns to a thunderous reaction after a brief absence, while I am regarded as nothing more than yet another Warfare match. Wes Ikeda returned and put himself in a position where the World Championship was in his grasp, don't even need to say how wrong that is. Yet I am still fucking stuck wrestling The Miz?"
Ziggler stopped to catch his breath, before continuing.
"I may have crossed a line there. But fuck it, life's handing you lemons, make lemonade then! I've been working my ass off for over a decade, now, and all people seem to want to talk about is how I used to be a cheerleader, like it's so fucking funny, like I'm a god damn joke! Let's talk about that, shall we, yeah, I was a shitty cheerleader, I also was a caddy for a while, and yeah, Dolph Ziggler may not be the greatest of names, but I'm still the fucking greatest of wrestlers. I don't need to mooch off fame acquired on a stupid reality show, like The Miz. I don't get the privilege of being in the Hart family, and even if I did, I wouldn't mention it every other hour like Miss Nattie seems to love so much doing, rather than build her own legacy. You wanted a clarification, didn't you? Well, here's a clarification: Fuck you, fuck EBWF, fuck The Broken, fuck The Miz, and more importantly... Wes, FUCK YOU!"
Ziggler flipped off the camera as he told Wes Ikeda off, and abruptly assaulted Matt Striker, beating him down viciously as he yelled out insults and profanities. After a group of staff members pulled Dolph away from a practically unconscious Matt Striker, Dolph faced the camera again, with a different look to him, as his eyes looked more cold. Having done all the damage he could, Dolph left the scene.
