Warfare was just wrapping up and the audience was still on edge from the events that occurred at the end of the show. A dark match was about to take place for the fans in attendance, but the real reason everyone was so excited was because of Nicole Ikeda’s announcement for the new Sacrifice World title match. A fatal four way instead of a triple threat, now including The Miz who had just returned from a three month hiatus. Backstage EBWF journalist Michael Cole was preparing to shoot an interview exclusively for ebwf.net with the World Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles. Cole was dressed in his usual professional manner and had a huge cheesy grin on his face.
Michael Cole: Hello ladies and gentleman watching at home, I’m Michael Cole and here with me at this time is the EBWF Champion, AJ Styles.
Coming into the shot was indeed The Phenomenal One, who was still seemingly sweating from his match that had just ended minutes ago. He was still in his wrestling gear and wore his World Championship over his shoulder.
Michael Cole: Moment’s ago we just received word from our General Manager that-
He was cut of abruptly.
AJ Styles: The Miz is going to get another shot at me this Sunday.
The smile on Cole’s face grew just a little more.
AJ Styles: You look happy about it, Cole. You seem pretty excited that your old pal The Miz has made a surprise return. I don’t blame you for being happy. Now you have somebody that’ll let you kiss their ass all the time.
The smile faded away from Cole’s face and was now replaced with a look of surprise.
AJ Styles: Aw, what’s wrong? Did I hit a nerve? I think I did. Come on, do your job.
Reluctantly, Cole looked into the camera and started to speak again.
Michael Cole: The Miz will in fact get another shot at the World Championship this Sunday as he goes into a now fatal four way match with you, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase. Not to mention Kevin Nash will be the special guest referee for this bout. Your thoughts?
AJ Styles: If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times. The more the merrier. I know that the odds are against me this Sunday and the deck is stacked. I have a 25% chance of walking out of this match with my championship intact and if you add Kevin Nash into the equation my chances are slightly lower than that. So, my back is against the wall and I’m fighting for everything in this match. The thing is, I thrive in these types of situations. It’s me against the world and I have my ammunition and I’m ready to go to war. Kevin Nash was told that if he didn’t call this match down the middle then he would be removed from EBWF television permanently. I’m telling Kevin Nash that if he doesn’t call this match down the middle than he will be confined to a wheel chair permanently. I don’t want to have to break both of your surgically repaired knees, but I will. If I’m screwed out of this match in anyway, the two of us are going to have more than argument on Twitter. Everyone knows how I feel about Kevin Nash and I’m not exactly comfortable with him being the referee in this match, do I have a choice? No. Will I get through this? Yes.
The champ looked confident as he spoke his last few words and now Michael Cole was ready to ask his next question.
Michael Cole: With that said, what are your feelings towards the three men who will be challenging you?
AJ Styles: Anger, anger, and more anger. All three men have been out to get me lately and as you can see neither of them have succeeded. I may be frustrated and furious enough to want to hurt each one of them, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to take my eye off the ball for one moment. DiBiase has been a thorn in my side for months now and even after I soundly defeated him at the King of the Ring, he still feels as if he should be the one holding this championship instead of me. Rhodes is mad at the world and feels like he can take it out on whoever, whenever. The guy even had the audacity to pour a bag of spiders over me and god knows I hate spiders. The Miz, who just made his comeback, has this grudge that’s still lingering. He claims that I injured him when in all actually the only thing I hurt was his ego. He couldn’t deal with the fact that I was able to one up him, two months in a row. So instead of taking his loss like a man, he made his little excuses, tucked his tail between his legs, and ran home. Regardless of the issues I have with the three of these guys, when that bell rings this Sunday I have one goal and that’s to walk out of Sacrifice STILL World Heavyweight Champion and in order for that to happen I don’t have to beat all three men, just one.
Michael Cole: Correct, you only have to defeat one man to retain the title. On the other hand you can lose the title without being the man who’s pinned. As you stated earlier, you only have a 25% chance going into this match. How do you prepare for something like that?
AJ Styles: There is no way to prepare for something like this. I just have to make sure that I’m not the one who’s pinned and do my best to make sure nobody else is being pinned. There are so many possible outcomes to a match like this and the only way that I can possibly be prepared is to go out there and do what I do best, win.
Michael Cole: Thank you, AJ. Good luck this Sunday.
AJ Styles: Save the luck for others, they’re the ones going to need it.
Cole looked confused and instead of saying anything else he just turned away and walked off the screen. AJ Styles was prepared to leave the scene as well, that was until somebody tapped him on his shoulder and he turned around to see that it was only his good friend, EBWF resident double champion, Trent Baretta.
Trent Baretta: Yo dude!
The two shared a quick fist bump followed by the sound effects of an explosion.
AJ Styles: Trent, what’s going on?
Trent Baretta: Not much man, I just wanted to catch you before you left. Great match tonight, you did your thing out there.
AJ Styles: Thanks, you and Evan Bourne had a pretty good match as well. Too bad Bully Ray had to stick his nose where it doesn’t belong and ruin a good thing.
Trent Baretta: Yeah, that’s the thing. I know you have a lot on your plate this Sunday and I just wanted to let you know that Bully Ray isn’t going to be a problem, because I plan on taking him out at Sacrifice. So, that’s at least one thing you won’t have to worry about.
AJ Styles: Sounds good. I see you challenged him to a hardcore match. Pretty intense, but I have no doubt that you’re going to put that punk in his place once and for all.
Trent Baretta: Of course I am. I’m going to bust this dude up!
The two shared a small laugh and fist bumped again which was followed by another explosion sound. The scene faded away as both men went their separate ways.

Two movie tickets = $20
One large popcorn= $5
Two sodas= $6
Two boxes of candy= $4
Gazing at Brooke Adams ass in some really tight jeans= Priceless
Brooke Adams: AJ, I don’t think I can carry all of this by myself.
Snapping out of the trance he was in AJ looked up to see a Brooke handing him a few of the items they had just ordered.
Allen Jones: Don’t worry, I got you.
The movie theater was packed on this occasion and people were all around the two professional wrestlers, some asking for autographs only to be denied, and others not even recognizing who they were. After finally getting out of the long line they had been waiting in for numerous minutes they made their way down the hallway towards the movie they had chosen to see this evening, Dark Knight Rises. Of course this wasn’t an official date, but AJ and Brooke had become really good friends over the past few weeks and the two decided to catch a movie together while they were in town. Even with Sacrifice being a few days away, AJ felt it would be best to get the thought of his huge match off his mind and enjoy some of the spare time he did have outside of the wrestling business.
Allen Jones: Know where you wanna sit?
She already had her mind set on the back row of the theater and without any complaints AJ followed her to the seats.
Brooke Adams: Oh AJ, this is going to be great. I just love Christian Bale as Batman. He looks so good in all black.
After making a fake coughing noise AJ looked down at his attire which was also completely black.
Allen Jones: What about me?
She reached over into his lap to get a few pieces of popcorn and nibbled on them before responding nonchalantly.
Brooke Adams: What about you?
She went to reach for more popcorn, but this time he moved the bucket and gave her a nudge.
Allen Jones: I think you were born a natural blonde?
She nudged him back with a smile on her face.
Brooke Adams: Shut up, AJ! You look nice in black too. Gosh, you happy?
Allen Jones: Not really, I think we should kiss and make up.
Brooke Adams: You wish!
The playful conversation calmed as soon as the opening previews of the movie began. A few minutes in, one of the previews began to air for The Marine 3, starring Mike “The Miz” Mizanin.
Allen Jones: Wow, really?
Brooke let out a small giggle from his sudden outburst.
Brooke Adams: You got to admit, he looks pretty bad ass with this new rugged thing he has going on.
The two exchanged whispers so they wouldn’t disturb any of the people around them.
Allen Jones: No argument there. That’s my boy, I’m happy for him. He always wanted to be a movie star.
Outside of the world most know as sports entertainment the two were actually really good friends. The total opposite of the bitter rivals they appeared to be on television.
Brooke Adams: I was surprised he returned to television so soon. Especially since he was put back in the title picture with you.
Allen Jones: Yeah, we work well together so I was sort of pushing for another program between the two of us. I was really aiming for a program between Ted, Mike, and myself, but you know how things go in the wrestling business. Cody’s new character is being received well, so I guess they wanted to add him in the mix to make it more interesting.
Brooke Adams: Honestly, Cody’s new gimmick is starting to scare the hell out of me.
Slowly but surely AJ took his arm and put it over the shoulders of Brooke, pulling her in a bit closer without any resistance.
Allen Jones: Don’t worry baby girl, I’ll protect you from anything.
With a slight smirk on her face she looked into his eyes.
Brooke Adams: Yeah, yeah, whatever.
The look in AJ’s eyes was more serious than anything else.
Brooke Adams: Let’s just hope we don’t have to put that theory to the test. I’d hate it if another Aurora incident occurred anywhere.
Allen Jones: Me too. But I like to think that I’m always prepared for a situation like that.
After taking a hold of Brooke’s hand he moved it to his waistline in a very seductive manner. Her eyes grew big and she let out a slight gasp.
Brooke Adams: Um, AJ… Is that a gun or are you just happy that I’m touching you.
Allen Jones: 45.Caliber Smith and Wesson… What? I’m famous and without a bodyguard. A guy has to protect himself.
They both shared a light laugh.
Brooke Adams: Just promise me that you’ll teach me how to shoot it one day.
Allen Jones: I got you baby girl.
By this time the previews had ended and the movie was beginning. Brooke snuggled a little bit closer and AJ could tell that she felt comfortable with him. This was the first time in a while he had been out with a woman and no drama whatsoever had occurred. They weren’t taking it fast or slow. They were just bonding and this seemed to be a great way to do it.
______________________________________________________
The EBWF had some of the best props and studios in the business and Wes Ikeda had the money to spend on it, so why not use it to the best of your advantage. AJ Styles’ was prepared for his Sacrifice promo and the crew had finally finished setting things up for him to begin. Green screen and props in place he was given the signal to start whenever he wanted. The first scene was a bit dark and gloomy, with barely any light involved. It looked as if the setting for this was a sewer and that’s exactly what it was. Rats and roaches could be seen crawling around and in a corner sat a hooded figure with his face concealed to the cameras. The sound of liquid dripping echoed through the place and the water that streamed through the sewer looked absolutely filthy. Dressed in dirty clothing the hooded figure raised his head just enough for the camera to get a good shot of his mouth as he began to speak.
AJ Styles: Disgusting… Repulsive… Abominable…
Slowly and softly spoken his head was raised to reveal a bit more of his face.
AJ Styles: These are three words that describe this place I’m in. They also describe a man who has come to be very twisted in the head as of late, Cody Rhodes. A young man with a silver spoon since birth, that decided to give it all up to live like this, like a foul inbred creature. All because of a fatal burn that dashed his dashing looks, he resorted to this life. A life infested with insects, vermin, and almost anything else that could be found in the depths of the underworld. Maybe it’s his way of showing the world what type of person he is deep down inside or maybe it’s nothing more than a simple intimidation technique. I’d like to think that he isn’t as gone in the head as he seems and is only using this lifestyle to frighten the kids who watch at home. He wants to solidify himself as the new age bogeyman. Dark corners and paper bags full of god knows what seems to get him off.
Sitting in the dark corner of his own AJ reached behind himself to pull out a paper bag full of unknown contents. He looked into the camera a bit more and now his face was recognizable to anyone who’s watching.
AJ Styles: I want Cody Rhodes to know at this very moment that I’m not afraid of him or any of his scare tactics. In fact, I embrace his lifestyle and everything he deems heinous. The only difference between the two of us is what I’ll be carrying around in my brown paper bag.
He went to open the bag and reach his hand inside, showing off the items for the camera to catch a glimpse of.
AJ Styles: You thought your itsy bitsy spiders would scare me shitless? You think rats and worms are something that will make people run away in fear? Sorry to break it to you, but you’re wrong. Here I have in my bag various repellents, sprays, traps, and poisons. So you see there’s nothing for me to be afraid of. In fact, now I’m quite comfortable. So, come Sacrifice bring whatever you like to bring, but I regret to inform you that the only thing that’s going to be barrowing into someone’s head is my size twelve wrestling boot.
Now standing upright Styles removed the hood from his head to reveal a deranged smile on his face. After a few seconds he turned away, walking out of the cameras shot. After a brief second or two of static the scene came back up, but now the setting was a bank. People were in line at the counters and others were mingling amongst themselves. In the shot walked AJ Styles dressed in a very nice blue Armani suit with a loud green tie that he adjusted before he spoke.
AJ Styles: This place is the total opposite of where Cody Rhodes likes to lurk. No, this is fit for one Ted DiBiase Jr. son of the million dollar man, Ted DiBiase Sr. Another young man who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Now, there is nothing wrong with being a blueblood. You have it all. Money, power, women, what more can you ask for. Nothing. That is, unless you are greedy and envious of other, such as Ted DiBiase is. I don’t quite understand how you can be so fortunate and yet so angry at everyone else for the things they have worked hard to achieve. Being giving the world is so much easier than actually fighting, scratching, clawing, and wasting your blood, sweat, and tears, to one day rule the world. Being the World Heavyweight Champion symbolizes just that, the accomplishment of hard work and dedication to one day achieve you dreams. Ted you should of realized by now that money isn’t everything and sometimes you actually have to put the effort forth to capitalize on the opportunities giving to you. Time and time again you’ve had the chance to prove that you are more than the just the son of a hall of famer. But time and time again, you just happen to come up short. Is it because you don’t have the talent? No. You have the talent. You just choose to use it the wrong way. Instead of taking the time to master your craft and turn it into a million dollar tool, you are content with being the million dollar son with a thousand dollar gift. Each and every time we face each other, you try every dirty little trick up your sleeve to get one over on me, only for it to backfire and bite you in the ass. This Sunday night at Sacrifice will be no different than any other night, even with two other guys attempting to do the same as you, no disqualifications, and a referee who seems to think you are the next big thing in this business. The fact will remain and everyone will know for certain that Ted DiBiase can’t get the job done. He can’t win the big one, even with all the money, and all the power, it just won’t happen. Because in this industry it’s not about who has the biggest bank account, it’s about who has the biggest heart and the will to succeed and you’re looking at him.
Styles walked out of the scene yet again and the static hit again before returning to a new scene. We were now inside of the Target Center and the focus was on the ring inside the empty arena. A single spotlight was placed in the center of the ring where AJ Styles stood, dressed for action, with the EBWF World Championship secured around his waist.
AJ Styles: In this ring I show the world that I’m not only the best in the world, but I’m the greatest in the galaxy. My third opponent for this Sunday knows all about this ring. It was his dream to make it here one day and preform in biggest wrestling promotion in the world. It was his dream to win the EBWF Championship and defend it against some of the best the world had to offer and indeed he did just that. He rose through the ranks and proved that he was more than a silly looking reality star who sported a faux hawk. Through hell and high water this guy fought to make a name for himself and that I can respect. Even after being terminated he didn’t stop, he worked harder than ever to get back in the ring and accomplish all the goals he set before him, just as I did. The last time the two of us were in here together we were a team, a victorious team, just as we were a few months back when The Trilogy ran rough shot throughout this place. Miz, if you’re watching this I want you to hear me when I say this. Thank you. Thanks for coming to my aid and allowing us one more shot at victory, together. In fact, I’m glad you decide to return when you did, because I was beginning to get on edge, knowing that when you did finally return you would stop at nothing to gain some form of revenge on me. And guess what? I was right. Not even moments after our hands were raised you tried to stab me in the back like you have once before in the past. This time I was wise to it, this time I saw it coming. Even after we came out here to this ring and wrestled our asses off for an entire hour, I knew that this thing between us wasn’t over. See, we are both alike in so many ways. We both have that desire to be at the top of the food chain and we both understand that this business is simply dog eat dog. But unlike you, I don’t attempt to stab a man in the back to get what I want. No, I come at you from the front, in your face, head to head. I want you to look me in the eyes when I put you down on this mat. I want you to know that it was me that dropped you on your head without wondering who did what. That’s the kind of guy I am and that’s the reason I’m the World Heavyweight Champion. I don’t sugar coat it or beat around the bush. I know we have unfinished business, Miz and who am I to say that this Sunday night will be the end of it. Because quite frankly I doubt it. I believe the two of us will be at each other’s throats for years to come, over this very piece of gold that I have in my possession. This Sunday night I am willing to make the ultimate sacrifice and put my life on the line at Sacrifice to remain EBWF champion. That’s what I’m willing to do to remain the alpha male of this company. Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Miz, the question is, are you all willing to do the same? Kevin Nash may be the referee and the odds may be totally against me, but just remember that this IS the survival of the fittest and I’m the one at the top of the food chain for a reason!
With those final words spoken a spark of intensity was set within the eyes of the EBWF World Champion as the scene went to static again before completely fading to black.

(OOC: I want to say thanks to Jon and Dohko for allowing me the use of their character for this RP. Also I want to thank Nick for being a bad ass Kevin Nash throughout this whole ordeal. I’m sure there is more to come. Finally, I want to wish good luck to everyone who participated in the EBWF Sacrifice PPV and more specifically Jack, Kyle, and my best friend on the World Wide Web, DJ. You guys have all been amazing to work with and I’m proud of us all. I hope this was an enjoyable read. Any feedback is always welcome.)
