[Reborn Matt Sydal]

Jim Ross sits down with Matt for an interview exclusive for Survivor series during the preshow.
Matt seems to be back to his usual optimistic demeanor.

JR: Matt, you have been in this business a long time. You have also started pretty young as well, you have had great accomplishments, you are an incredible athlete and extremely sound technician. It is normal to be frustrated, is that how you feel frustrated?

Matt talks with his hands, still calm but a bit on edge as noticeable through his tone.

Matt: It's not just the frustration, it's the ego. Every wrestler, every performer in every performance career is egotistical but I know for a fact that my egotism comes from the fact that I can back it up.
How else am I suppose to promote myself, why do fans have to be forced to ignore our pre-EBWF journeys'?

I'm a wrestling fan, that's what I don't get about guys like Baron Corbin. Baron is a great athlete, he's a fighter, a competitor but he has no love for this, he doesn't respect the business. I love this industry and I am going to beat him so I can be the one to represent my generation of wrestlers.
