The EBWF logo flashed in the middle of the screen, then faded in on Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns who stood in front of a black backdrop. Roman had the EBWF IC Championship draped over his shoulder.

Paul Heyman: Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman. And I am proud to say that I represent the reigning, defending, undisputed Intercontinental Champion, ROOOOMMMMMANNNN...

Paul gestured towards his client, a fiery look of intensity in his eyes.

Paul Heyman: RREEIIIIIIIIGGGNNNNSS!!!

Reigns patted the face of his championship proudly.

Paul Heyman: When Survivor Series was all said and done, my client had defeated one of the hottest up and coming stars in the EBWF, Jimmy Havoc. Since then, Jimmy has opted to rise above his station and take a swipe at AJ Styles, but that is currently not our concern. Our priority right now is to restore importance and significance to this once top tier championship. There was a time in the not too distant past, prior to the advent of the Path to Glory Championship, that the Intercontinental Title was a gateway to World Championship contention.

Roman shifted the title over to his other shoulder and took the mic from Paul.

Roman Reigns: Tonight, I'm going to take my first step to bringing the IC Championship to that level. I've got the opportunity to take care of Jimmy Havoc's heavy. If Havoc's busy trying to take out AJ Styles and get himself a shot at the World Championship, then I'm going to make sure his little buddy gets nowhere near them. Baron Corbin likes to carry himself like a big tough guy, who came from football and thinks the world should get out of his way. Well, news flash tough guy, you and I are a lot alike. The difference is that I was able to stand up and peel the Intercontinental Championship off your boy Jimmy. I don't think you've got the stones to make that happen. Tonight, I'm going to show the world that this fist right here can knock a punk ass out nomatter how big he is. And you, Corbin, can believe that.

Roman smirked and put the IC Championship right up close to the camera lens as the scene faded to black.
