Flaws

We all have flaws as pro wrestlers. It comes with anything you pursue. My biggest flaw is not connected to ability or talent in the ring, I am a prodigal and I am very grateful that most wrestlers even veterans I have looked up to appreciate my work.

What holds me back the most is confidence. I watch someone like Finn Balor and the way he carries himself, he’s not arrogant but he is also not overly humble. I struggle with that, that is my flaw. I do amazing, superhuman super hero stuff once the bell rings but I have no idea how to manage my ego and how I view myself.
I do not know how anyone calls themselves the best in the world at this because it has been around for over 180 years and there is so many people involved.
We all get boxed into something from our work. Finn Balor with the Demon and myself with the shooting star press. Finn Balor is just as amazing when he is not the Demon just like he is as the Demon. I love highflying, in execution I am fearless flawless and never reckless. I am also a sound technician, chain wrestling I am rarely outdone, many submissions and pinning variants at my disposal, very educated feet and a terrific south paw striker.
My opponent this week Finn Balor, shares those same skills. What I have been learning in my sixteen-seventeen years is being a good wrestler just doesn’t cut it.
You have to be undeniable and work as you are undeniable, self doubt will always be the one thing holding you back the most.
I have to work harder, push harder. Just because you are fantastic does not mean you get a pass from hard work. Everything is earned.
