The pre-show opened with the EBWF General Manager, Stone Cold Steve Austin, standing in the ring with Jim Ross. The EBWF superstars were stood at the top of the ramp. Austin had a microphone in his hand, and as the camera cut to the ring, Stone Cold began to speak.
Steve Austin: A few days ago, a good friend of mine, Jan Ross, passed away after a tragic road accident. Jan was part of the EBWF family, and I speak for all of us when I was how sorry I am that she can't be with us here tonight. She loved Wrestlemania week, and with that in mind, JR has fulfilled all of his Wrestlemania obligations. In memory of Jan, tonight we're paying tribute to her with a ten bell salute.
Austin put his arm around JR as the bell was rung ten times. After the tenth bell, the EBWF superstars and the crowd broke into applause. JR thanked Austin, and the General Manager smiled.
Steve Austin: Now JR, before we kick off Wrestlemania, there's something I want to ask you. As you know, tonight could be the last time I step foot into an EBWF ring... so when I wrestle Chris Jericho tonight, I'd like you to be on commentary. If you feel up to it, of course.
Jim Ross: It would be an honour.
Steve Austin: The honour is mine.
Austin patted JR on the shoulder, then turned his attention to the crowd.
Steve Austin: Now if you want us to kick off the Wrestlemania Pre-Show, gimme a hell yeah!
Crowd: HELL YEAH!
A video package previewing Wrestlemania began to play as Austin and JR exited the ring.
Prime Time Players made their way to the ring first, followed by Sydal and Andrews, then finally Gallows and Anderson. When all three teams were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. The Prime Time Players and Gallows and Anderson worked together to take out Sydal and Andrews, then turned their attention towards each other. Gallows fought Titus O'Neil while Darren Young battled Karl Anderson. Anderson overpowered Young, hitting a brainbuster then throwing him out of the ring. Meanwhile, across the ring, Gallows went to whip Titus against the ropes, but Titus reversed it, sending Gallows into the ropes before hitting a spinebuster. Titus turned his attention to Karl Anderson, and the two men exchanged right hands back and forth. As Titus and Anderson fought in the center of the ring, Andrews and Sydal climbed the turnbuckles on opposite sides of the ring. The two high-fliers jumped from the top rope in unison, hitting Karl Anderson and Titus O'Neil with dropkicks simultaneously!
Joey Styles: Impressive team cohesion from Highflying Havoc!
Mark Andrews grabbed Karl Anderson, whipping him into the corner and hitting a cannonball. Meanwhile, Matt Sydal hit a hurricanrana on Titus O'Neil, rolling him up for the pinfall attempt. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! As Sydal got to his feet, Darren Young attacked him from behind, throwing him out of the ring. The Prime Time Players then double-teamed Luke Gallows as Andrews continued to battle Karl Anderson. Andrews went to whip Anderson against the ropes, but Anderson reversed it, sending Andrews into the ropes. Anderson then went for a superkick, but Andrews ducked out of the way, then hit a legsweep DDT. Andrews went to the top rope and hit a Shooting Star Press! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Corey Graves: Mark Andrews has earned a Tag Title shot for himself and Matt Sydal!
Joey Styles: Given what happened last time they stepped into the ring with Jimmy Havoc and Braun Strowman, I'm not sure that's a good thing Corey!
"Fight" by CFO$ played and the open stadium gave a mixed reaction for the prizefighter Kevin Owens.
Corey Graves: Here we are, Joey! KOMania is officially underway!
Owens got to the ring and his music was replaced by "We Are the Champions" by Queen. Cesaro came out to the entrance, giving the crowd his machine gun taunt. He headed into the ring and got into his corner.
Corey Graves: This is going to be a hell of a match. KOMania running wild!
The referee called for the bell and Kevin Owens rolled out of the ring, causing the crowd to boo. Cesaro yelled at Owens, telling him to get back into the ring. Owens finally re-entered the ring and Cesaro grabbed his legs, dropping him to his back.
Joey Styles: Already! We're going to see the King of Swing!
Cesaro spun Owens around as the crowd counted along with each rotation. After fifteen spins, Cesaro dropped Owens to the mat and picked him up, hitting the Gotch Neutralizer! He rolled Owens over at hooked the leg. 1....2...3!
Joey Styles: And there you have it! Cesaro picks up the win here at WrestleMania 16! Huge victory for the Swiss Superman!
Corey Graves: KOMania is over in a flash, Joey! Kevin Owens must be livid!
"Out of my Mind" by CFO$ hit and the crowd booed as Eva Marie headed to the ring for the next match. "Crushed" by Parkway Drive hit and Alexa Bliss came out next. Velvet Sky was out third, and finally, Trish Stratus headed to the ring. When all four women were in the ring, the referee called for the bell.
Joey Styles: This fatal four way match will determine the new number one contender for the EBWF Women's Championship!
Corey Graves: Joey, how beautiful does Eva Marie look with black hair?
Trish nodded at Velvet Sky, showing respect to the fellow veteran, then went after Eva Marie. Velvet locked up with Alexa Bliss, hitting her with a snapmare then following it up with a low dropkick. Across the ring, Trish whipped Eva into the corner, then hit a handspring back elbow smash. As Eva staggered out of the corner, Trish took her down with a bulldog and hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Trish got to her feet, and stared across at Velvet. The two women locked up, and Trish applied a headlock, but Velvet broke free and pushed Trish into the ropes, then hit a hip toss. Eva Marie then grabbed Velvet from behind, rolling her up with a schoolgirl! The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!
Joey Styles: Eva Marie almost stole a victory!
Corey Graves: Clever strategy there from Eva!
Both women got to their feet and Eva hit Velvet with a clothesline, then threw her out of the ring. At this point, Alexa Bliss re-entered the fray and she grabbed Eva Marie, hitting her with an STO. She followed it up with the Insult to Injury, then hooked the leg – 1... 2... Trish interrupted the count. She pulled Alexa to her feet and hit a suplex, then turned her attention back to Eva Marie. Eva got to her feet, and Trish went for the Chick Kick... but Eva ducked out of the way! Eva grabbed Trish and an towards the corner, going for the Sliced Red #2, but Trish blocked it, shoving Eva into the turnbuckles. At this point, Velvet Sky re-entered the ring and she grabbed Trish, setting her up for the Snap DDT, but Trish countered with a northern lights suplex. She made the cover and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Alexa got to her feet and Trish reacted quickly, spearing her down to the ring mat and punching her on the ground repeatedly. Velvet recovered and she grabbed Trish, pulling her off Alexa and hitting a facebreaker knee smash. Velvet then set Trish up for the In Yo Face, but Trish blocked it, then countered with a spinebuster.
Joey Styles: Another great counter by Trish Stratus!
Velvet got to her feet, and Trish hit her with the Chick Kick! Before Trish could make the pinfall, Eva Marie threw her out of the ring and covered Velvet! The referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Corey Graves: That was brilliant from Eva Marie! She's so clever, Joey!
Eva rolled out of the ring and celebrated on the ramp, perhaps fearing retribution from Trish Stratus.
A capacity crowd of 65,000 EBWF fans were on their feet, holding up signs and cheering as loud as they could, as an impressive fireworks display exploded along the top of the entire stadium. The intricate stage also lit up as the cameras swirled around the stadium.
Joey Styles: CAMPING WORLD STADIUM! This is Orlando! This is the moment we've all been waiting for. THIS. IS. WRESTLEMANIA! Good evening folks, I am Joey Styles alongside the dapper Corey Graves! We are live here with a sold out crowd and ready to kick things off!
Corey Graves: This is the greatest night of the year, Joey. I have been anticipating this night for months and months, and it is finally here! I am pumped, Joey!
Joey Styles: Tonight we have a blockbuster night planned for you! PJ Black defends the EBWF World Championship against The Destroyer, Samoa Joe!
Corey Graves: The match I'm looking forward to the most, Joey. Also Natalya will defend her Women's Championship against Liv Morgan!
Joey Styles: We also have Chris Jericho who will battle "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in a loser leaves EBWF match!
Corey Graves: And so much more, Joey! But right now, we're going to start with a Breakout Championship match! Finn Balor gets his shot at Enzo Amore and his title, and I can't wait!
"Shot Em" by Tech 9 blasted out of the Camping World Stadium as Finn Balor came down to the ring.
Joey Styles: Finn Balor, representing the Bullet Club, is looking to recapture the EBWF Breakout Championship for his faction.
Corey Graves: He's trying to rebalance the power here in EBWF. I'm so excited Finn Balor is here to crush Enzo Amore like a bug and bring back some sanity to this company! I cannot believe that troll is representing the business.
Joey Styles: Like it or now, here he comes!
"S-A-W-F-T!"
"Sawft is a Sin" by CFO$ played and the crowd cheered, followed by deafening chants of "How you doin'?" Amore pointed at Balor and headed into the ring, unclasping the EBWF Breakout Championship from his waist and raising it to the crowd as he got into the rhythm of the fans chanting his catchphrase. The referee took the championship belt and raised it up in the air.
Christy Hemme: The following contest is scheduled for one-fall and is for the EBWF Breakout Championship! Introducing first, from Bray, Ireland and weighing in at 190 pounds, FINN BALOR! And his opponent, he is the EBWF Breakout Champion! From Hackensack, New Jersey and weighing in at 200 pounds, ENNNZOOO AMMMOORRREEE!
The "How you doin'?" chants intensified as the Breakout Champion waited for the ref to call for the bell. Once the referee did, Amore and Balor locked up in the center of the ring. Neither opponent got the upper hand, and the two broke the lock after several seconds attempting to get an advantage. Balor kicked Amore in the gut and went for a DDT but Enzo clocked him in the head as he advanced. Balor stumbled back and got a look of anger on his face. He taunted Amore to advance. Amore shrugged and open hand slapped him. The crowd cheered as Balor rubbed his chin. They locked up again and this time Balor got the advantage. He wrenched Amore's head into a headlock, then threw Amore into the ropes. Amore bounced off and ducked underneath a clothesline attempt. He hit the other side of the ropes, gaining speed, and Balor leapfrogged over him. Bouncing back a final time, he leapt up and nailed Balor head on with a flying forearm. He quickly went to roll up Balor for the pin and got a two count.
Joey Styles: Enzo Amore's offense is so unpredictable!
Corey Graves: Unpredictable, ridiculous, and insulting to my intelligence.
Amore brought up Balor by his hair, which earned him some admonishment from the referee. He hit Balor with a few hard rights, but after the third one, Balor dodged it and kicked Amore in the knee as hard as he could, sending Amore down to the mat. He quickly capitalized by locking in a half Boston crab, rearing back on the leg he attacked. Balor leaned back on the leg as far as he could. The referee checked with Amore to see if he was going to tap.
Joey Styles: Finn Balor has taken control of this match, and Amore looks like he's in a tremendous amount of pain here.
Corey Graves: Tap, Enzo! Tap! Give that title to someone who deserves it!
Amore scratched and clawed his way toward the rope. Balor tried to lean back further to stop his advance, but it was too late. Amore managed to get to the ropes, and the referee forced a break. Balor begrudgingly did so after a count of 4. Amore rolled out of the ring and tried to shake the pain out of his leg. Balor grinned and then charged towards Amore and went for a baseball slide. Amore sidestepped Balor and helped him out of the ring, and Balor's back smacked against the mat outside. Amore picked him up and they both exchanged blows outside the ring. Amore got the advantage, and then grabbed Balor by the wrist and irish whipped him towards the steel steps. Balor reversed it and sent Amore into the steps. Amore's bad leg smashed into the unforgiving steel, and he flipped over the stairs and landed on his back on the other side.
Joey Styles: OH MY GOD! Amore's knee has to be shattered! It might just be a matter of time here!
Corey Graves: YES! Time to end this Balor! Bring the championship back to the Bullet Club!
Balor rolled Amore into the ring, a confident smirk on his face. He himself rolled in and casually brought Enzo to his feet and immediately Amore's bad knee buckled. He lifted him back up and pulled in Amore's bad leg and went for a fisherman's suplex. Halfway through Amore shifted his weight and transitioned out of the hold, grabbing Finn's head and hitting the Certified G Tornado DDT!
Joey Styles: WHAT A REVERSAL!
Amore scrambled on top of Balor and hooked the leg. 1....2....3!
Corey Graves: NO! That's not fair! He cheated!
Amore, favoring his leg, stood up as the referee handed him the Breakout Championship.
Corey Graves: This is a travesty! That hairy rat doesn't belong in EBWF, let alone as champion!
Enzo raised the title in the air and celebrated as a video package faded in for the next match.
Alex Riley came to the ring, accompanied by the Varsity Club. As Riley walked down the ramp, he looked up above the ring, where the PTG and Intercontinental Championships were hanging.
Corey Graves: What an historic night this is, Joey! The winner of this match will unify the Path to Glory and Intercontinental Championships, and walk out as the undisputed champion.
After Riley had entered the ring, “Hospital for Souls” filled the Camping World Stadium as 20 people walked out of the curtain wearing black skinny jeans, KILL HAVOC KILL t-shirts and white masks with blood. They line up in a V formation down the ramp and pull silver knives from their pockets. As the chorus kicks in they start the run the blades over their masks as more blood pours from the bottom over their clothes. They drop the floor as the music slowly comes to a fade and “I Hope You Suffer” by AFI starts to play.
Jimmy Havoc came through the curtain on top of Braun Strowman’s shoulders, holding the Tag Team Championships. Havoc looked out at the crowd as Strowman walked down the ramp, and as Strowman passed the masked men, they bowed down to Havoc. Havoc raised his arms and Braun roared, reminding the Varsity Club while he was known as the "monster among men". As Braun let Havoc down, Havoc placed the Tag Titles on Braun's shoulders and patted him on the back. Braun began to walk to the other side of the ring whilst Havoc took everything in. Eventually Havoc entered the ring, and as he did so he unzipped his coat to reveal a new EBWF licenced “King of the Goths” Tee. Havoc set his coat and mask down then stared across the ring at Alex Riley.
Joey Styles: Havoc is undoubtedly EBWF’s hottest commodity right now, but he’s a highly polarizing character among the EBWF Universe.
The two men met in the middle of the ring. Riley talked trash and shoved Havoc. Then he ran for the ladder but Havoc cut him off and dropkicked him. Havoc chopped him and Riley stomped him. They went for the ladder but Riley hit a senton and a big corner cannonball.
Corey Graves: Riley just laid out Havoc there!
Riley hit Havoc with a right hand, but Havoc came back with the exploder suplex. Havoc got the ladder. Riley stopped him and they fought for control, with Riley slamming him into the ring apron with the ladder. Riley slammed Havoc with the ladder a few times, then he went for a cannonball on it putting his body on the line.
Joey Styles: Riley might be beating Havoc at his own sadistic game!
Havoc moved to the outside, but Riley was quick to follow. The Varsity Club went to attack Havoc, but Braun Strowman stood in their way and they decided not to get involved. Riley and Havoc traded jabs against the guardrail and ended up fighting into the crowd. Havoc countered a powerbomb with a backdrop back onto the padding. He went for a clothesline but Riley slammed him into the barricade. Riley whipped Havoc back over the commentary table and smashed him with the top of the table, then he taunted the crowd on the table before getting a ladder. Riley spent too much time playing to the crowd though because it gave Havoc time to run across the commentary table and dropkick the ladder into Riley!
Joey Styles: Get back in the ring, Jimmy!
Havoc did just that, running in and trying to climb for the titles. He was too slow, and Riley got back into the ring and pushed the ladder over. Havoc landed inside the ring, but was in a bad way, and Riley picked him up and backdropped him into a ladder that was lying on its side.
Corey Graves: Riley’s looking pretty confident here!
Riley began to climb the ladder and Havoc managed to get up to his feet and pull him back. Havoc whipped him into a second ladder in the corner and set up a cannonball. Riley moved out of the way, and went to dropkick him. Havoc rolled away and Riley kicked the ladder, then Havoc dropkicked him in the corner and hit The Acid-Rainmaker. Havoc climbed the ladder. Riley grabbed Havoc’s leg and powerbombed him from the ladder, then he headed outside and attempts a Riley Elevation on the ring apron. Havoc landed on his feet and kicked Riley in the face, then he went for a double stomp but Riley avoided it and powerbombed Havoc on the side of the ring.
Joey Styles: I can’t believe this match is still going! These men have to get on the ladder!
As Joey lamented, Riley set the ladder up and Havoc tipped it over, but Riley landed on his feet and kicked Havoc in the face. Riley set the ladder up and Havoc tried to get up. Riley told him to stay down and kicked him in the face. He screamed at Havoc as he stomped him, then Riley got a second ladder and wedged it in between the turnbuckles and the opened ladder’s rungs. He climbed one side and dragged Havoc to the top with him, setting up for a cradle superplex on it.
Corey Graves: This could end it here! Could Alex Riley…
Havoc blocked it! Havoc hit him with some forearm shots, then he headbutted Riley and Riley slammed face first off the wedged ladder. That got a “holy shit” chant out of the crowd. Havoc turned and tried to climb but Riley starts to stir. Havoc hit him with the Roaring Elbow, and the crowd cheered as he started up the ladder again. The cheers turned to boos as Darren Young and Titus O'Neil entered the ring, pulling Havoc off the ladder and double teaming him. As Miz yelled instructions to the Prime Time Players, Braun Strowman climbed over the ropes, staring down Titus and Young. Young charged towards Strowman, and Strowman took him down with a big boot. Young got to his feet and Strowman grabbed him by the throat, setting him up for the Chokeslam. Titus tried to intervene and Strowman grabbed him with his free hand, lifting up both of the Prime Time Players and hitting a double Chokeslam! Strowman helped Havoc to his feet, lifting him onto his shoulders and carrying him towards the ladder. Havoc grabbed the ladder and began climbing, finally getting to the top and reaching to unhook both titles. The bell rang.
Joey Styles: Jimmy Havoc has done it! Jimmy Havoc will unify these championships!
Corey Graves: And he can trade them in for a shot at the EBWF World Championship next month at Aftermath!
Havoc jumped off the ladder onto Strowman's shoulders, holding both titles aloft in celebration.
Orton came to the ring first, followed by AJ Styles. The bell rang and Styles tried to take Orton down but Orton countered with a big European uppercut and a huge clothesline. Orton clotheslined Styles over the top to the outside and he followed, hitting another series of wicked European uppercuts. Orton tried to send Styles into the steps, but he jumped on over them, then kicks the steps right into Orton’s knee. Styles rolled Orton back into the ring, and went to the top, launching himself off with a big cross body block. Styles mocked Orton, walking over to him in the corner before hitting him with a big right hand and kicking away at him. Orton came back with a series of right hands, and hits his signature back breaker.
Corey Graves: This could be over quickly!
Orton hesitated, and instead of pinning he went right back on the offensive, attacking Styles. Styles ripped at Orton’s face to get an advantage. He tied Orton's knee up in the ropes before kicking at it, and hitting his running high knee. Styles came down on the back of Orton’s knee with a knee drop, and he pinned Orton for two. Styles put Orton on the top turnbuckle, and locked him in a single leg tree of woe. Styles went to the top turnbuckle, and brought himself down on top of Orton with a big double stomp, but it was still only good enough for two.
Joey Styles: Styles looking to put Orton away here at WrestleMania and hold on to his championship rematch.
AJ Styles called for the Styles Clash, and he got Orton up, but Orton fought out of it, and tried for the RKO. Styles responded with a Pele kick to the face. Styles went back up to the top, but Orton hit the ropes, causing AJ to crotch himself on the top turnbuckle. Orton went up to the second rope, then the top, and brought Styles down with a gigantic superplex. Orton crawls to make the pin - 1... 2... Styles kicked out!
Joey Styles: It looks like AJ is trying to get out of dodge.
Corey Graves: Can you blame him? The Viper is stalking his prey!
Styles escaped to the outside and grabbed Orton’s leg, wrapping it around the ring post and locking in a figure four with Orton’s leg wrapped around the ring post. He did break the hold to not get DQ’ed, and he went back into the ring, going right back to work on Orton’s leg with a single leg Boston crab submission, and bashing away at his knee. Orton tried to fight him off, but Styles kept the hold locked on. Orton finally made it to the ropes and forced Styles to releases the hold. Back on his feet Orton hit a couple of clotheslines and his snap powerslam. Orton pinned Styles, but he kicked out. Orton picked him up and AJ kicked Orton a couple of times, dropping him to the mat, and locking in the Calf Killer, wrenching away at Orton’s leg. Orton was able to roll him over into the ropes, forcing him to break the hold. Styles went out to the apron, and he reached over into the ring to grab Orton by the head. Orton launched AJ into the ring post, and set him up for his rope assisted DDT, connecting and laying Styles out. Orton pounded on the mat, and begins staring at Styles. Orton gets back up to his feet, and he backs up, readying to punt Styles in the head.
Joey Styles: Oh my god, Randy is about to do the unthinkable!
Orton went for the punt kick, but Styles pulled the referee into the way. Orton caught himself before colliding with the official, that didn't stop Styles from delivering one quick low blow to both Orton and the referee. Both men went crashing to the mat in pain and now Styles was taunting the fans slapping his chest a bunch while Orton was down.
Corey Graves: Styles just changed the landscape of this match with a low blow! There is no way he is giving up the rightful rematch he deserves.
Joey Styles: That may be so. But remember there is no way AJ can win this match with the referee incapacitated.
Styles knocked Orton out to the floor, went out after him and then whipped him back-first into the ringside barricade. Styles ripped the top off one of the ringside announce tables. Orton hit a European uppercut on Styles and then put him on the table. Orton followed him onto the table. Orton tried an RKO on the table but Styles escaped and ran off through the crowd. Orton chased after him through the crowd. He caught up with him deep into the audience and punched away, knocking him down some steps in the aisleways and forcing him back closer to the ring. Orton finally threw Styles back over the barricade and onto the ringside floor. Now he threw him back in the ring. Orton and Styles are back in the ring now and Orton is clearly in control of the match at this point. Styles avoided Orton in the corner, sending him smashing his shoulder into the ringside post. We have a split chant-reaction going on in the crowd now, half for Styles, half for Orton. With the referee still down Styles went under the ring looking for something. He came back out with a kendo stick. Styles hits Orton several times with the kendo stick in the stomach, back and everywhere else. Styles begins choking Orton with the kendo stick like a crazy-person. As Orton struggled to get to his feet Styles missed a big homerun shot and Orton hit the RKO!
Joey Styles: RKO! RKO outta nowhere!
Corey Graves: it doesn't matter! The referee is still down!
Orton was shown on a close-up with his mouth bleeding. He had a crazy look in his eyes once he noticed the blood from his mouth and welts on his body. Orton grabbed the kendo stick the crowd exploded.
Joey Styles: Orton looking for a bit of retribution here!
Styles stood up and bitch-slapped Orton in the face. Orton processed to beat the holy hell out of AJ Styles with the kendo stick to the delight of the WrestleMania audience. Orton tried to hit another draping DDT off the middle rope but Styles reversed. Styles nearly hit the Styles Clash but Orton reversed into a backdrop. Orton backed up and tried to hit a punt on Styles again but he avoided it and rolled to the floor. Orton went out after him. Orton knocked Styles down with a vicious clothesline and then went under the ring for something. He came out with a table as the crowd popped. Orton puts the table in the ring. Styles then knocked Orton down as he tried to enter and set up the table himself. Orton was trying to get in the ring and now both guys were on the top rope fighting over a superplex. They both end up falling out onto the floor. Orton threw Styles hard into the ringside steps. Orton took a portion of the ringside steps and leaned it longways against the ring apron. He countered him and slammed Orton face-first into the ringside steps. Styles cleared off the Spanish announce table. He used one of the TV monitors as a weapon and blasted Orton with it in the face.
Joey Styles: We need a new referee out here! This match is becoming a no limit slugfest!
Styles put Orton onto the cleared off announce table. Styles mocked Orton's hand-pounding gesture on the table as he waits for Orton to get up. Styles went for an RKO on Orton but Orton reversed it into an RKO of his own, with both guys crashing through the table.
Joey Styles: OH MY GOD!
A “This is awesome” chant broke out from the crowd. Both guys slowly made their way back into the ring. The referee was beginning to stir when AJ hits the Phenomenal Forearm out of nowhere on Orton and immediately pinned him. Orton, however, managed to kick out at two. Styles looked furious.
Corey Graves: Almost AJ!
Styles picked Orton up and delivered a Styles Clash in the middle of the ring. Instead of pinning him, Styles put Orton on the table in the ring and punched him over and over again. Styles made his way to the apron, and with the ref trying to stop him he disregarded his demands and he jumped onto the ropes, flipping off and crashing on Randy Orton with a beautiful springboard 450 splash through the table. A 'holy shit' chant began as both men were down. Styles crawled over to Orton and made the cover- the fans counted, 1... 2... 3 but the referee didn't make a move. Styles demanded he count but the referee pointed to Orton's foot under the bottom rope. Styles was furious. He went after the referee, poking him in the chest telling him to count next time. Styles went out on the apron and began stalking Orton. When Orton got to his feet Styles went for a Phenomenal Forearm but Orton caught him with a RKO! Orton went for the cover and the referee counted, 1... 2... 3!
Joey Styles: Randy Orton wins!
Corey Graves: Wait a second, AJ's foot was under the bottom rope! How did the referee miss that?!
Joey Styles: I don't think the referee noticed, Corey. I think the decision is final. Randy Orton just defeated AJ Styles and is the number one contender for the EBWF World Championship!
Styles was out on the mat as Orton celebrated his huge WrestleMania victory.
After a video package highlighting the tension that had been building between Chris Jericho and Stone Cold Steve Austin, the camera cut to the ring, where ring announcer Christy Hemme was standing with a microphone.
Christy Hemme: Ladies and gentlemen, performing live with EBWF's own Chris Jericho... please give a warm welcome to Fozzy!
Predictably, the Orlando crowd booed as the camera cut to the stage, where Jericho was stood with his band. Fozzy played "Do You Wanna Start a War?" from their latest album, and after they'd finished performing the song, the rest of the band played an instrumental version as Jericho walked to the ring. Upon entering the ring, Jericho took the microphone from Christy Hemme and began to speak.
Chris Jericho: Give it up for the greatest metal band in the world, Fozzy! That incredible song you just heard was the title song from our latest album, Do You Wanna Start a War. It's a fitting track really, because that's exactly what Stone Cold Steve Austin has done. He started a war with me, and tonight, I'm going to finish it. Finally, I get to fight EBWF's corrupt General Manager, and not only that, when I beat him, Stone Cold will be gone from EBWF... for good! Which means after tonight, it will be a new era in EBWF. Austin will be gone, and I—
Jericho was interrupted by the arena lights going out, and a five second countdown beginning on the big screen. Jericho looked confused, and as the clock struck zero, the arena lights came back up. At the top of the ramp was a wall with the word "Jericho" written across it. "Glass Shatters" by Disturbed hit, and Austin came out in a Stone Cold pickup truck, smashing through the Wall of Jericho!
Jim Ross: Stone Cold Steve Austin arriving in style!
Joey Styles: Great to have you here with us for this match, JR! I know you've been friends with Stone Cold for a long time, but this is his first match in 14 years. Do you think he'll be at a disadvantage going against someone like Chris Jericho, who still wrestles week in, week out?
Jim Ross: Well Joey, Chris Jericho is one of the greatest superstars to ever set foot in an EBWF ring, but Austin is one of the all-time greats. I know he wouldn't have agreed to this match unless he felt up to the challenge, so I think we're in for a slobberknocker right now.
Corey Graves: I just can't believe that after tonight, one of these men will have to leave the EBWF!
Austin parked his truck at the bottom of the ramp, then entered the ring, climbing the turnbuckle and raising his arms in the air. Austin then climbed down and stared across at Jericho, greeting the ten-time EBWF World Champion with two middle fingers! Jericho cockily waved goodbye to the Texas Rattlesnake, then as the referee called for the bell, the two men began exchanging punches back and forth. Austin gained the upper hand and he whipped Jericho against the ropes, then took him down with the Lou Thesz press. Austin punched Jericho against the mat several times, then got to his feet, grabbing Jericho by the legs and hitting a stomp to the groin. Austin pulled Jericho to his feet and dragged him towards the corner, then slammed his head against the turnbuckle before sitting Jericho in the corner. Austin hit Jericho with the mudhole stomp, then pulled him away from the ropes and hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!
Joey Styles: Well JR, you're right about Austin being up to the challenge... the Texas Rattlesnake is showing no signs of ring rust here!
Jim Ross: Jericho is getting beaten like a government mule!
Austin pulled Jericho to his feet and hit him with some more right hands, then went to whip him against the ropes. Jericho reversed the Irish whip, sending Austin into the ropes, and as Austin ran back towards him, Jericho took the Texas Rattlesnake down with a flying forearm smash. Both men got to their feet and Jericho hit Austin with a series of backhand chops, before whipping him into the corner. Jericho punched Austin in the corner several times, before sitting him on the turnbuckle, setting him up for a hurricanrana from the top rope.
Corey Graves: If Jericho hits this, Austin could be in trouble!
Austin fought back, knocking Jericho off the ropes before hitting a diving double axe handle. As Jericho hit the mat, Austin grabbed him by the legs, catapulting him back into the corner. Jericho collided head first with the top turnbuckle, and as he staggered back out of the corner, Austin took him down with a lariat. He hooked the leg once more – 1... 2... kickout! Austin pulled Jericho to his feet, and set him up for a piledriver, but Jericho countered with a back body drop, then as Austin got back to his feet, Jericho grabbed him by the legs, taking him down to the mat and applying the Walls of Jericho!
Joey Styles: Walls of Jericho locked in! Austin could be in trouble here!

Austin ran at Jericho, going for another clothesline, but Jericho ducked out of the way and grabbed the Texas Rattlesnake, hitting a swinging neckbreaker. Jericho ran towards the ropes, going for the Lionsault, but Austin got his knees up and blocked it!
Corey Graves: JR, Joey, the momentum is swinging back and forth in this match... neither men has been able to seize an advantage thus far!
Jim Ross: There are high stakes in this match, Corey – neither Jericho nor Austin is going to go down without a fight!
Both men looked weary as they got to their feet, and they exchanged right hands back and forth. Austin gained the upper hand, and after hitting Jericho with several punches in quick succession, he went for the Stone Cold Stunner, but Jericho blocked it, pushing Austin against the ropes before hitting a powerslam. Both men got to their feet and Jericho hit a double underhook backbreaker, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Jericho got to his feet and grabbed Austin by the legs, going for the Walls of Jericho a second time. This time, Austin fought out of it, and as he got to his feet, he hit Jericho with the Stone Cold Stunner!
Jim Ross: Stunner! This could be it!
Austin was feeling fatigued, and it took him several seconds to cover Jericho. Once Austin had hooked the leg, the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Austin got to his feet, and grabbed Jericho by the legs, locking in the Walls of Jericho! Jericho cried out in pain, and quickly crawled towards the ropes. Austin broke the hold, and Jericho rolled out of the ring.
Joey Styles: Jericho is in trouble right now, and he's taking himself out of the heat!
Austin followed Jericho, and as he grabbed him, Jericho hit a low blow! The crowd booed, but the referee didn't see it! Jericho threw Austin back into the ring, then rolled back into the ring himself. Austin got to his feet, and Jericho hit a Codebreaker! Jericho draped an arm over Austin, and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Corey Graves: I don't believe it! Out of nowhere, Jericho has beaten Stone Cold Steve Austin!
Jim Ross: He cheated, damn it!
Joey Styles: The referee didn't see it though, JR!
The referee called for the bell, and raised Jericho's arm in victory. Jericho smirked as he celebrated his win.
A video package played over the gigantic EBWF tron which showed clipped footage of the feud that had been going on for weeks between EBWF Women's champion Natalya and EBWF newcomer and the 2017 Women's Royal Rumble winner, Liv Morgan. Things between the two EBWF stars had been heating up over the last few weeks leading to Wrestlemania 16. The footage ended with Liv Morgan finally getting Natalya to agree to the match at Wrestlemania, with a street fight stipulation. Once the video came to a close, the audience cheered as they knew the match was coming up next.
The lights dimmed down in the arena and the crowd cheered in excitement. After a few seconds the crowd quieted down. The slow beat to "Tip toe wing in my Jawwdinz" by RiFF RAFF took over the PA system which caused fans to cheer as something was about to happen. A few random lights strobed around the entrance ramp to the beat of the song. The cameras caught a group of women walking out on the massive Wrestlemania stage. The dancers were all dressed in pants and crop top with some sort of snapback on. Out of nowhere, RiFF RAFF appeared out of some fog on the Wrestlemania stage, wearing a red T-shirt with a red jacket over it covered in paw prints and hearts. RiFF RAFF sported a pair of his signature Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses and his hair was braided back in its usual cornrow fashion. To complete his unique outfit, he had on a pair of ripped blue jeans with red in the tear spots. The white rapper from Houston, TX sported a pair of matching Jordans. He stood in a spotlight and raised the microphone to his lips.
RiFF RAFF: Yo-yo how you doin' FLORIDA?!
The beat to the song continued to loop. The Orlando crowd cheered in response to him.
RiFF RAFF: Let's make some noise Orlando for WRESTLEMANIA 16!! Cuz I'm... [Singing] Tip-toeing in my Jordans. I done came down. Tip-toeing in my Jordans. Just copped a Porsche.
The lights flickered even more to the beat now. The dancers on stage all began to "tip toe" in their Jordan's and dance around the stage. It was at this point that it was revealed by the announcers that the dancers were all the Orlando Magic dancers. The women took formation along the left and right part of the stage that lead down towards the ring.
RiFF RAFF: [Singing] Tip-toeing in my Jaawdinz. Tip-toeing in my foreign. You motherf-ckers borin'. You sleeping on me, snorin'.
A few white spot lights blinked to the beat. The cameras panned closer to the side of the stage where a giant black shoe box was with a red Air Jordan logo on it. A silhouette could be seen rising slowly up out of the shoe box while the Orlando Magic dancers continued their synchronized dance of "tip toeing" in their Jordans. The silhouette figure at the top of the giant shoe box who we could all assume by now was none other than Liv Morgan herself, began to tip toe in her Jordans as well before stopping on cue. She stopped with her back profile to the audience and paused.
RiFF RAFF: [Singing] Don't worry, cause I'm.. Tip-toeing in my Jawwdinz.
The music stopped and the lights went out once more. It was hard to see what was going on with the only light being from fans cameras all over the arena. Several pyros went off closer towards the staging area, away from everybody else. A large 201 appeared across the titan tron and screens along the entrance way.
WE SO MOTHA-F'KN ILL!!
"Illest" by Far East Movement began to play. The members of the band Far East Movement had quickly moved onto the stage with RiFF RAFF and their instruments. The lights in the arena came back on while multicolored arena lights flashed over the sold out audience in Orlando. When the beat dropped Liv spun around in a circle and made her way down off the giant shoe box via a staircase. Liv Morgan bounced to the tune of her theme song and jammed out. RiFF RAFF met her at the bottom of the staircase where Liv looped her arm in his and they made their way towards the ramp. She danced to the beat while he rapped. Liv wore a pair of tight red pants that had holes over the thigh area, accompanied with a white trim along the entire pants. Her belt said "LIV VIBES" in bold white letters. She also sported golden suspenders that hung down on either side of her. Liv's top matched her red pants with the white trim. In golden letters "LIV" was written across her top. Liv had a golden snapback on with the rim of the hat faced forward.
RiFF RAFF: My girl Liv Morgan is in the buildin', she's 'bout'ta bring dis house down ya'll! Are you ready Orlando?! Make some noise for your new future Women's champ! She'll be leavin' da buildin' tonight wid more gold than Rumpelstiltskin, ya feel me?!
The crowd popped. Far East Movement continued to play Liv's theme song. At the start of the ramp Liv let go of RiFF RAFF's arm and he went back by the band. Liv spun around once more and jumped up and down, hyped more than ever before as the crowd went wild. The young Jersey native swiped her hand across the bill of her snapback and pulled it to the back of her head, her signature look. With a jolt of energy, Liv ran down the abnormally large ramp towards the ring. As Liv passed by the dancers on each side of the stage, The Orlando Magic dancers would swipe their hand across the bill of the snapback and pull it to the back as she went by them.
Christy Hemme: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled as a street fight match for the EBWF Women's championship!
Liv slapped a few hands of various fans once she got down the ramp and into ringside. The dancers began to exit the rampway as Liv Morgan made her way onto the ring apron. She grabbed a hold of the second rope and pulled herself up. Liv taunted the sold out crowd before she pretended to wipe the dirt of her shoes on the ring apron. In one fluid motion, Liv pulled on the top rope and flung her body over the third rope in one jump, the handkerchief that hung from her back pocket almost got caught on the ropes when she did this. As Liv cleared the top ropes and her feet touched the ground, she rolled forward across the ring.
Christy Hemme: Introducing first, from Elmwood Park, New Jersey, she is your 2017 Women's Royal Rumble winner.... LIIIIIIVVVVVVVVV MOOOORR-GGGANNNN!!!
The young blonde then squatted down in place and swayed side to side to the beat of her music for a few moments. She shot up to her feet and flashed a smile over to Christy Hemme. Liv went to the ring ropes and stepped up on the bottom rope to taunt one side of the arena. The crowd cheered even louder.
Joey Styles: Liv Morgan making her Wrestlemania debut tonight! Can she walk away with the ultimate prize in women's wrestling – the EBWF Women's Championship?
Corey Graves: Natalya won't go down without a fight, Joey... and fighting is what they'll do, because this match is a street fight!
Liv stood in the center of the ring, awaiting the arrival of her opponent. "Closer" by Lacuna Coil hit and the crowd booed as Natalya made her way to the ring. Upon entering the ring, the Women's Champion shot daggers at Liv Morgan.
Christy Hemme: And her opponent, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, she is the EBWF Women's Champion... NATALYA!
The crowd booed once more as Natalya held up the Women's Title, taunting Liv with the gold. The referee took the title and held it in the air once more, then called for the bell. Natalya wasted no time getting started, charging towards Liv and taking her down with a stiff clothesline. She stomped on Liv several times, before picking her up and lifting the New Jersey Rocker over her shoulders, hitting a powerslam. Natalya pulled Liv to her feet once more, this time throwing her out of the ring. She followed Liv out of the ring, then lifted up the ring apron, pulling a steel chair out from underneath the ring. Natalya got behind Liv, and hit her with a steel chair to the back! Liv fell to the ground, and Natalya hit her across the back with the chair once more, then pulled her to her feet and threw her into the ringside barrier. Liv fell into a sitting position, and Natalya stomped on her several times, before grabbing her and hitting a suplex outside the ring. Natalya threw Liv back into the ring, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!
Joey Styles: A dominant start by Natalya!
Corey Graves: There's no love lost between these two women, Joey... maybe that explains the ruthless aggression from Natalya here tonight!
Natalya dropped a knee on the head of Liv Morgan, then rolled out of the ring. She reached underneath the ring once more, this time pulling out a trash can. She through the trash can into the ring, picking it back up as she re-entered the ring. Natalya stood over Liv, waiting for Liv to get to her feet, and when Liv was up, Natalya went to hit her with the trash can. Liv got her hands up to block it, then kicked Natalya in the midsection and snatched the trash can away from her. She dropped the trash can onto the mat, then DDTed Natalya into the trash can! Liv hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Liv pulled Natalya to her feet and whipped her into the corner, then ran at her, hitting a running single leg dropkick. As Natalya staggered out of the corner, Liv Morgan went to the top rope. Natalya turned around, and Liv hit her with a diving crossbody! She hooked the leg once more – 1... 2... kickout! Liv got to her feet and stomped on Natalya several times, then pulled her to her feet, setting the Women's Champion up for the 201. Natalya blocked it, then hit a German suplex. Liv looked dazed as she got to her feet and Natalya hit her with a clothesline, sending her over the top rope. Natalya followed Liv out of the ring and pulled her towards the steel ramp, then set the New Jersey Rocker up for a powerbomb. Before Nattie could powerbomb Liv onto the ramp, the 2017 Women's Royal Rumble winner blocked it, countering with a back body drop! Natalya cried out in pain as she landed on the ramp. Liv pulled Natalya to her feet and threw her back into the ring, then went to the top rope once again. When Natalya was on her feet, Liv went for a diving DDT, but Nattie caught her, then lifted her up and hit a Michinoku Driver!
Joey Styles: Great counter by Natalya! Liv Morgan might be out cold!
Natalya hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Natalya got to her feet and grabbed Liv Morgan by the legs, setting her up for the Sharpshooter... but Liv kicked Natalya away, inadvertently sending her into the referee! The referee fell to the ground, and Liv grabbed Natalya, but Natalya turned around and hit Liv with a forearm smash, knocking her down. Natalya retrieved the chair from ringside she had used to attack Liv earlier, then re-entered the ring. As Liv got to her feet, Natalya swung the chair at her, but Liv ducked out of the way then hit a dropkick, kicking the chair into Natalya's face! Liv then hit the 201 on Natalya, but the referee was still down. Liv tried to revive the referee, then covered Natalya. The referee counted – 1... 2... Natalya kicked out! Liv pulled Natalya to her feet and set her up for an STO... but Natalya blocked it, then powerbombed Liv onto the steel chair! Natalya pulled Liv into the center of the ring, locking in the Sharpshooter! Liv tried to get to the ropes but was unable to do so and she tapped out.
Corey Graves: It's over! Liv Morgan came so close to victory, but Natalya is still the Women's Champion.
Joey Styles: What a match! Tremendous effort by both these women, Corey.
As Natalya celebrated, Liv Morgan got to her feet. Natalya offered a handshake to Liv, but Liv hesitated, unsure whether to trust the Queen of Harts. Nattie retracted her hand, then hit Liv with the championship! The crowd booed as Natalya made her way to the back, leaving Liv Morgan laid out in the ring.
The stars in the sky shined bright as the lights in the arena went dark. A calming hush ran through the arena as soft instrumental music could be heard on the sound system. The thousands in attendance shifted their attention to the stage as the camera all switched. The trons flickered to life. The moon, full and bright, rose up behind a forest littered with trees and mist. The calming feel to the moment could be felt throughout the EBWF Universe. Slowly, to the rhythm of the music, the moon rose high on the large scale entrance way. The fog, seen on the tron, crept onto the stage, hugging closely to the steel. The feeling in the stadium was ominous as the Universe watched the rising moon.
At its apex, the moon paused in place. The gentle music switched. All of a sudden, the lights in the stadium turned blood red, along with the moon on the tron. A crash is heard as the music picked up pace, now more manic than before. Just then, four fairly large werewolves burst through the fog. The four stood and snarled on the stage. The costume detail on the wolves were Hollywood quality. Two of the werewolves look at each other before they took off for the ring. They split and rounded the ring continuing to snarl at the EBWF Universe. One of the remaining wolves on the stage walked slowly and menacing down the ramp. He looked back and forth snarling and growling at the members of the crowd. The forth wolf stayed on the stage. He watched from the stage at the other three wolves. Random howls bellowed from the all around the stadium.
Corey Graves: There are... Wolves running around Camping World Stadium!
Joey Styles: Watch it! They may have rabies.
One wolf cut the announcers off as it jumped onto the table. It snarled at Styles and Graves, keeping them tight to their seats. The other wolf at ringside continued in a circle around the ring. Screams could be heard, especially from the young members of the EBWF Universe as the werewolves got near.
AAAAAWWWRRRROOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
All the werewolves turned quickly back to the entrance way. The fog was thicker now as the camera picked up a shadow. It walked straight out of the fog onto the stage. The wolves stopped as PJ Black walked out on the stage. The ominous music stopped and the entire stadium went quiet. PJ stood in the middle of the fog. His ring gear could be seen under a layer of wolf pelts. The EBWF World Championship belt shined through all the fur. On his face, PJ Black wore a black and red leather wolf mask that covered everything. He tilted his head as he looked at the other four wolves. The silence lingered for a few seconds more. PJ then raised his right hand and gripped the mask. He lifted it up slowly off his face to reveal himself. Just as he did, "Sick of It" by Skillet blasted over the sound system.
The crowd booed as PJ stepped forward and he made his way to the ring slowly. The wolf on the stage walked up to PJ and instantly fell behind him and walked at the same pace. The two wolves at ringside scurried back around the ring to the edge of the ramp. At this point, PJ and the first wolf had made their way to the second wolf. A few snarls could be heard through the music, but just like the first wolf, the second wolf step behind PJ and walked along behind him. The pair of wolves at ringside were the only thing between PJ Black and the ring now as he continued to walk.
Christy Hemme: Making his way to the ring... From Capetown, South Africa. He is your E-B-W-F World Champion! The Darewolf, PJJJJJ BLLAAACKKKKKK!!!
The two split down the middle as PJ reached the bottom of the ramp. He looked between the two of the wolves before he moved forward and grabbed the bottom rope. He pulled himself onto the apron and looked back at the wolves. The pack stayed put, but all of them kept their eyes on PJ. Black turned towards the center of the ring and tilted his head as to crack his neck. He enter the ring quickly but turned slowly to face the EBWF Universe. The boos continued to rain down on PJ as he walked over to the turnbuckle away from the stage. He climbed to the second rope and cupped his hands together in front of his mouth.
PJ Black: AAAAAWWWRRRROOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
His howl echoed through the stadium. The pack of wolves at ringside each let out their own howls after Black's had ended. The EBWF watched on as he descended the turnbuckle and walked into the center of the ring. The lights in the stadium all went out except of the one spotlight that shined down from the ceiling over the ring. PJ basked in the light with his head down. He waited for a few seconds. His arms went behind his back slowly. Just then, in a flash, PJ brought his right arm forward and raised it in the air, bringing with it, the EBWF World Championship. When the title was in the air, the wolves at ringside all immediately begun to howl.
Joey Styles: Well Corey, we've seen some special entrances tonight, but I think that qualifies as the most unique!
When the wolves had left the ringside area, "Destroyer" by CFO$ hit and Samoa Joe made his way down the ramp. There was no special entrance for Joe – he came to the ring the same way he always did, ignoring the crowd and focusing solely on his opponent.
Corey Graves: Samoa Joe doesn't need a special Wrestlemania entrance, Joey. He has one goal tonight – to walk out of Orlando as the new EBWF World Champion!
As Joe entered the ring, PJ Black got in his face, showing the 2017 Royal Rumble winner that he wasn't afraid. The referee separated the two superstars, held the World Title in the air, and called for the bell. Black and Joe exchanged right hands furiously, but Joe overpowered the World Champion, then whipped PJ Black against the ropes. As Black hit the ropes and ran back towards Joe, the Samoan Destroyer lifted Black over his shoulders, hitting a Samoan drop. Joe stomped on Black several times before pulling him to his feet and whipping him into the corner. Joe hit a corner forearm smash on Black, then as Black staggered out of the corner, Joe hit an exploder suplex. Both men got to their feet and Joe grabbed Black from behind, hitting him with the Chimera-Plex! Both of Black's shoulders were on the mat and the referee counted the pinfall attempt – 1... 2... kickout!
Joey Styles: A destructive start from Samoa Joe... but PJ Black has proven himself to be a big time player time and time again. Can he prove himself tonight on the grandest stage of them all?
Joe pulled Black to his feet and dragged him towards the corner, before slamming his head against the turnbuckle. Joe punched Black in the corner several times, then sat him on the turnbuckle, before going for the Muscle Buster. Black fought back, kicking Joe away, then jumped from the top rope, hitting Joe with a hurrincanrana. Both men got to their feet and Black hit an enzuigiri, then hit an inverted DDT. Black ran to the ropes and hit a springboard moonsault, before hooking the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Black pulled Joe to his feet and whipped him into the corner, then ran at him, going for a crossbody. Joe moved out of the corner and caught Black, then slammed him into the corner, placing him in the tree of woe position. Joe stomped on Black in the corner repeatedly, until Black fell to the mat. Joe then pulled Black away from the ropes, before applying an STF. Black cried out in pain, but he was able to get to the ropes and the referee forced Joe to break the hold. Joe got to his feet and stepped back, waiting for Black to get to his feet. When Black was up, Joe hit a lariat, sending Black over the top rope. Samoa Joe followed Black out of the ring and tossed him into the ringside barrier, then ran at him, hitting a big boot. The big boot sent Black over the barrier, into the crowd! As Joe climbed over the barrier, the referee reached the count of 4.
Corey Graves: Samoa Joe needs to get PJ Black back in the ring, otherwise the South African Darewolf is going to retain the title via count out!
Joe picked Black up and threw him over the barrier, then threw him back into the ring as the referee counted 7. Joe ran against the ropes and hit Black with the Samoan elbow, before hooking the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Joe pulled Black to his feet and hit him with a folding powerbomb, then applied a Boston crab. Again Black was able to get to the ropes, but this time Joe refused to break the hold! The referee threatened to disqualify Joe and began counting, but Joe broke the hold at the count of 4. Joe pulled Black away from the ropes and hit the Death Valley Driver, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!
Joey Styles: Samoa Joe continues to dominate, but PJ Black refuses to stay down!
Corey Graves: I'm not sure how much more PJ Black can take though, Joey... Samoa Joe has been even more aggressive than usual tonight!
Joe pulled Black to his feet and whipped him into the corner, then went for another corner forearm smash. This time, Black moved out of the way, causing Joe to collide with the turnbuckle. Black moved onto the ring apron and quickly climbed to the top rope, then hit Joe with a tornado DDT. Joe got back to his feet and Black hit an inverted facelock elbow drop, then went to the top rope. Black went for the 450 Splash... and hit it! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Joe kicked out!
Joey Styles: Oh my god! Samoa Joe kicked out of the 450 Splash!
Corey Graves: Like PJ Black, he refuses to stay down!
Black looked stunned, and he began arguing with the referee in frustration, accusing him of counting slowly. Black turned his attention back to Samoa Joe and punched him against the mat several times, before turning him over and applying the Koji clutch. Joe broke out of it, and both men got to their feet. Black went for a discus elbow smash, but Joe ducked out of the way, then grabbed Black from behind, applying the Coquina Clutch!
Joey Styles: Samoa Joe has the Coquina Clutch locked in... is he about to choke out PJ Black?
Corey Graves: We could be seconds away from a new EBWF World Champion, Joey!
Black tried to break out of the Coquina Clutch, but Joe had the hold locked in tight. Just as it looked as though Black was losing consciousness, he fought back, dragging Joe towards the corner. Black climbed up the turnbuckles and jumped over Joe, pinning his shoulders to the mat. The referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Joey Styles: PJ Black retains the title!
Corey Graves: What a kick turnaround that was!
Joe looked stunned as the referee called for the bell. PJ got to his feet and clutched the title as the referee handed it to him, then rolled out of the ring. Once he was a safe distance from Samoa Joe, Black began celebrating on the ramp.
Joey Styles: What a night this has been!
Black continued to celebrate as Warfare went off the air.
