It had been less than two months since Braun Strowman signed for EBWF, but he had already began to form a path of destruction.

Those were the superstars who had already suffered at the hands of the monster among men. Next in Braun's path was arguably his biggest challenge yet... Finn Balor. Finn wasn't Braun's biggest challenge in terms of size – Braun had nine inches on his opponent, and was literally twice his weight – but the challenge was in what Finn represented. In facing the leader of the Bullet Club, it was as if Braun was going up against each and every member of Balor's group. Even if Braun's tag team partner, Jimmy Havoc, was in his corner, they would still be outnumbered seven to two. For once, the odds were against the mountain of a man. But that wasn't something that ever entered Braun's thoughts.

On the day of Warfare, Braun visited one of the gyms near the American Airlines Arena in Miami. Such was the presence of the man, the other people at the gym gave him a wide berth. Braun was using the bench press when Michael Cole entered the gym, accompanied by an EBWF cameraman. As Cole approached Braun, Braun grunted to acknowledge him.

Michael Cole: Excuse me, Braun? Can I have a few minutes of your time?

Braun Strowman: I'm busy.

Braun grunted again, continuing with his workout.

Michael Cole: It's about your match with "The Demon King", Finn Balor.

Braun Strowman: Demon King? HA!

There was something unnerving about Braun's laughter. He got up from the benchpress, towering over Michael Cole as he stood next to him. Cole had a microphone with him, but Braun seemed to have left him tongue tied. Braun snatched the microphone from him, and began to speak.

Braun Strowman: I'm sure you've realised I don't talk much, Michael. But let me ask you a question. How much does Finn Balor weigh?

Michael Cole: 190 pounds.

Braun Strowman: I just bench pressed 250 pounds without even breaking a sweat. I could break Finn Balor in two. And he has the audacity to call himself the "Demon King"? A bit of face paint doesn't make someone a demon. I didn't call myself a monster, Michael. People called me that because of what I do when I step into the ring. You asked if you could have a few minutes of my time, that's all Finn is going to get. Because it will only take me a few minutes to destroy him.

Michael Cole: What about the Bullet Club though, Braun? They're sure to be at ringside.
A devilish grin appeared on Braun's face.

Braun Strowman: Then it's a good thing I'm bulletproof. I have a message for Balor and the Bullet Club, Michael.

Michael Cole: Well we're filming this for EBWF.net, say what you need to say Braun.

Braun shook his head.

Braun Strowman: I'm done talking.

Braun picked up the bar he had been bench-pressing and bent it in half with his bare hands. Michael Cole looked stunned, as did everyone else who was in the camera shot.

Braun Strowman: Consider this a warning, Bullet Club. If you get in my way, you'll be bent and broken. Starting with you, Finn

Braun brushed past Cole and went to another one of the weight machines, continuing his workout as if nothing had happened. The camera zoomed in on the bar Braun had bent before the scene faded to black.
