Anderson caught Strowman with a right jab, and bailed out, but Strowman chased him around the ring and to the outside. Anderson ducked back in, and Strowman caught him face down, beating him repeatedly with stomps to the back. Strowman picked up Anderson and threw him into the turnbuckle.
Joey Styles: The strength of Braun!
Anderson rolled to the outside, but Strowman followed after and whipped him into the steel steps. Braun picked Anderson up and slammed him into the barricade. The referee was making the count and Strowman rolled Anderson back into the ring. Anderson used the bottom rope to try to get up, but Strowman got him up for the devasting running powerslam, and went for the pin.
1...2..3!
Corey Graves: Braun has done it! Braun Strowman is dominate against Karl Anderson tonight.
Joey Styles: Up next, Seth Rollins returns to EBWF as he takes on Matt Sydal!
"The Broken" by Lit hit and the crowd cheered as Rollins made his way to the ring.
Corey Graves: Interesting choice of music, Joey... Rollins using the theme he had as part of The Broken with Jimmy Havoc. Maybe he's hoping for a Broken reunion?
When Rollins was in the ring, "Basket Case" by Green Day hit and Matt Sydal came out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. When both superstars had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell. Rollins hit Sydal with a series of right hands, then whipped him against the ropes. Both men got to their feet and Sydal hit a cradle suplex, then turned Rollins over and applied the Muta lock! Rollins cried out in pain, but he was able to get to the ropes. Sydal broke the hold and pulled Rollins to his feet, but Rollins shoved Sydal away and springboarded off the ropes, hitting him with a high knee. Sydal fell to his knees, and Rollins hit him with a superkick! He hooked the leg once more – 1... 2... kickout!
Joey Styles: So close to a three count!
Corey Graves: Both of these men are giving it their all tonight!
Rollins got to his feet and stomped on Sydal several times, then pulled him to his feet and set him up for a turnbuckle powerbomb. As Rollins lifted Sydal over his shoulders, Sydal countered with a hurricanrana.
Both men got to their feet and Sydal went for a roundhouse kick, but Rollins ducked out of the way then grabbed Sydal, hitting a reverse STO into the turnbuckles. Sydal looked dazed as he got to his feet, and Rollins took him down with a back kick, then hit him with the Curb Stomp! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Joey Styles: It's over! Seth Rollins returns with a victory!
The camera cut backstage, where Renee Young had just finished an interview with Kevin Owens and Bobby Roode. As Renee was about to walk away, Noam Dar and Tyler Breeze approached her.
Noam Dar: Well if it isn’t the lovely Renee Young. Might I say you’re looking....gorgeous tonight.
Noam grabbed Renee’s hand and kissed it, winking while he did it. Renee looked puzzled.
Renee Young: Are you okay, Noam?
Noam Dar: I am now I'm in the company or a beautiful woman like yourself.
Given her previous encounters with Noam Dar, she still seemed untrusting. She looked at Tyler, who made her feel less uncomfortable.
Renee Young: Where have you guys been lately? I haven’t seen you for a while. Normally I can smell Noam’s cologne throughout the hallways, but the last few weeks… nothing.
Tyler Breeze: Actually, Renee, I’ve been teaching Noam how to be more charming, like me. And it seems to be working.
Noam smiled and looked at Renee.
Noam Dar: Oh aye, it’s definitely working. I like that new short hair you've got. Very nice.
Renee couldn’t help but smile.
Renee Young: Thanks! So what exactly have you been teaching him, Tyler?
Before Tyler could answer, the scene changed. Noam was now sat behind a desk in a small classroom, with a notepad in front of him. Tyler was stood at the front of the classroom with a projector to his left. On the projector was the slide that said “Charms 101”. The camera zoomed in on Noam, who could be seen drawing a naked lady on his notepad. When Tyler noticed, he sighed audibly.
Tyler Breeze: Noam, Noam, Noam. Unless you change your ways, the only naked ladies you’ll be seeing any times soon are the ones you look at on the internet.
Noam sighed, folded up the paper and put it in his pocket.
Noam Dar: Av’ had lowdsa’ girls wa’ you on about?
Tyler Breeze: How many “girls” have you had since you moved to the States? You might have been a ladies man in Scotland, but American women are different. Trust me… I’m Canadian.
Noam looked puzzled and started counting on his hands, he got through his first five fingers and looked up at Tyler.
Noam Dar: Aye, none.
Tyler Breeze: Exactly. If you want to be successful here, Noam, you have to be charming. Like me.
Tyler smiled, smugly.
Noam Dar: Awright’ awright’. Let’s do it then, guide me oh wise one.
Tyler Breeze: Okay, let’s start with the basics. When you meet a girl, what’s the first thing you say to them?
Noam got up out of his chair, walked with a swagger over to an imaginary woman.
Noam Dar: Awright’ Hen?
Tyler walked to where Noam’s imaginary woman was, standing in front of Noam.
Tyler Breeze: Okay, not a bad start. If they dig your accent, you’re already on the front foot. What next? Maybe a compliment?
Noam Dar: Aw fuck me babe, ye’ dead stunnin’ can a tek’ ye ‘ome?
Tyler visibly cringed.
Tyler Breeze: And that’s where you’re going wrong. You’re too… forward. Some girls like that, but in my experience, they prefer to be wooed a little first. They like to see your softer side. Try something more subtle.
Noam looked confused.
Noam Dar: Err, you look nice?
Tyler shook his head.
Tyler Breeze: Too bland. You need to give be sincere, something personal that shows you mean what you’re saying. Women like to feel special. Try something like this…
Tyler took a few steps back, then walked towards Noam again. He put on his most charming smile, and spoke softly.
Tyler Breeze: Hi, I’m Tyler. You look lovely this evening. You caught my eye from across the room, and I just wanted to come and introduce myself.
Noam wrote his number in the notepad and jokingly acted swooned by Tyler, handing him his number. Tyler stopped pretending Noam was a beautiful woman, and took a step back.
Tyler Breeze: Now you try.
Noam Dar: Hello gorgeous, I saw your tits from across the room because they are bloody massive! Can I put my face in them?
Noam smiled and looked for assurance from Tyler. Tyler shook his head.
Tyler Breeze: Noam, if that line ever works, I’ll buy you a Ferrari. When you introduce yourself to a girl, compliment her on her eyes, her smile, her hair. Maybe her outfit. If the first thing you say to her is something about her ass, or her breasts, she’s going to think you’re a pervert. Which may be true, but don’t let her figure that out until later. Do you understand?
Noam Dar: Aye. Compliment her eyes first, and ask if I can feel her tits later.
Tyler Breeze: Close enough. We’ll call that lesson number one. Take a seat, there’s plenty more you need to learn…
Noam sat back behind his desk as the scene cut back to the arena. Renee looked at Tyler, who smiled and held a finger to his lips.
Tyler Breeze: I don’t give away my secrets to everyone, Renee. Come on, Noam, let’s continue to put your lessons into practice.
Noam kissed Renee’s hand, then followed Tyler off camera.
As Warfare returned from a commercial break, "Glorious Domination" hit and Bobby Roode made his way to the ring for the next match.
Joey Styles: Welcome back! Up next, we've got tag team action as Bobby Roode teams with Kevin Owens to take on Sami Zayn and Cesaro.
Corey Graves: These four men were involved in a tag match at Aftermath – Roode teamed with Zayn against Owens and Cesaro, but the match was declared a no contest after a brawl broke out between all four superstars. Cesaro and Zayn seemed to be on the same page at the end of the match, but it will be interesting to see if Roode and Owens can work together.
When Roode was in the ring, "Fight" hit and Kevin Owens headed to the ring. "We Are The Champions" by Queen hit and the crowd cheered loudly for Cesaro. Finally, "Worlds Apart" blasted over the PA and the crowd cheered even louder for Sami Zayn. Cesaro waited for Zayn at the top of the ramp, and the two men walked to the ring together in a show of unison. As they entered the ring, Cesaro moved onto the ring apron, allowing Zayn to start the match. Zayn pointed at Owens and mouthed the words "let's do this again". Owens nodded, and as Roode moved onto the apron, the referee called for the bell. As soon as the bell rang, Owens tagged in Roode, causing the crowd to boo. Owens laughed as he exited the ring and Roode entered.
Corey Graves: Smart strategy there from Kevin Owens... he's getting into the head of Sami Zayn!
Roode locked up with Zayn, and Zayn went for a headlock, but Roode fought out of it and whipped Zayn against the ropes, then took Zayn down with a hip toss. Zayn got to his feet and Roode hit him with a series of punches, before setting him up for a neckbreaker. Zayn blocked it, countering with a jawbreaker, then took followed it up with an arm drag. Roode got to his feet and Zayn whipped him against the ropes, before hitting a dropkick. Both men got to their feet and Zayn applied a wrist lock, then ran to the ropes, hitting Roode with a springboard tornado DDT. Before Zayn could go for the cover, Kevin Owens attacked Zayn from behind, tossing him out of the ring. The referee ordered Owens to move back onto the apron, and when Owens did so, the referee began counting Zayn out. At the count of 4, Zayn re-entered the ring, but Owens' interference had allowed Roode time to recover, and when Zayn got back into the ring, Roode hit a spinning spinebuster. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Roode got to his feet and stomped on Zayn several times, then tagged in Kevin Owens.
Joey Styles: Well Corey, you wondered if Owens and Roode would be on the same page... I'd say they've been an effective team so far.
Corey Graves: They've managed to put their differences aside and are focusing on their mutual dislike of Cesaro and Sami Zayn... it's been glorious to watch!
Owens grabbed Zayn and applied a headlock, but Zayn broke free and as both men got to their feet, they exchanged right hands back and forth. Owens gained the upper hand, and after hitting Zayn with a flurry of punches, he went to whip Zayn against the ropes. Zayn reversed the Irish whip, sending Owens against the ropes, before hitting a leg lariat. Both men got to their feet once more and Zayn got behind Owens, hitting him with the Blue Thunder Bomb! He hooked both legs and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Owens looked dazed as he got to his feet and Zayn set him up for an exploder suplex, but Owens blocked it, then lifted Zayn over his shoulders and hit the Go Home Driver. Owens climbed to the top rope and went for the Bullfrog Splash... but Zayn got his knees up, blocking it!
Joey Styles: Such intensity between these superstars!
Corey Graves: They know each other so well, they can scout one another's moves!
Zayn began crawling towards the corner as Cesaro held out his hand for a tag. Owens crawled towards Bobby Roode, and he got to the corner first. Owens tagged in Roode, and Roode ran towards Zayn to try and grab him... but before he could do so, Zayn made the tag! The crowd cheered as Cesaro entered the ring and charged towards Roode, hitting him with an uppercut. Cesaro then hit Roode with a series of punches, before taking him down and setting him up for the Giant Swing! The crowd cheered in anticipation, and as Cesaro swung Roode around the ring, they began counting. At the count of 10, Cesaro transitioned the Giant Swing into a Sharpshooter! Roode cried out in pain, and just as it looked like he was about to tap, Kevin Owens re-entered the ring, hitting Cesaro with a steel chair! The referee called for the bell, disqualifying Owens and Roode. Owens hit Cesaro with the chair several more times, then as Zayn entered the ring, Owens drove the chair into Zayn's ribs. Owens placed the chair on the mat and grabbed Zayn, throwing him against the ropes before hitting the Pop Up Powerbomb onto the chair! Owens stood over the fallen Zayn and Cesaro grabbed him, setting him up for the Neutralizer. Before Cesaro could hit it, Bobby Roode attacked the Swiss Superman, then hit Cesaro with the Glorious DDT. "Fight" by CFO$ hit and Owens and Roode headed to the back, leaving Zayn and Cesaro laid out in the ring.
"Phenomenal" brought the arrival of AJ Styles who got a mixed reaction from the crowd as he was announced. "Sick of It" hit the PA and the EBWF World Champion, PJ Black was announced. The two men got into the ring and the bell rang.
Joey Styles: Here we go!
Styles started with a go-behind to Black, and connected a waist lock takedown. He followed up with a wrist lock, and Black responded with an arm-bar. They executed some chain grappling and Styles applied a side headlock. AJ dropped Swann with a shoulder tackle, and the two men began running the ropes. PJ leapfrogged over AJ and hit him with the spinning heel kick. The crowd cheered as Styles rolled out of the ring. Black followed and Styles launched him face first into the announce table.
Corey Graves: Styles up to his Styles tricks there.
Styles Irish whipped Black into the steel ring post and landed a series of right hands. Styles started telling Black that the championship was his, and then he rolled him back into the ring. Styles took a cover for a two count. Styles connected with a short-arm clothesline and tried to take another quick cover.
Joey Styles: The champ kicks out!
Styles repeatedly drove his elbow across the chest of Black, and then grounded him into a rear chin lock. PJ fought to his feet, and Styles pushed him into the turnbuckle. Black stumbled out, ending up on his back as Styles went up top for the elbow but PJ rolled out of the way!
Joey Styles: Both men moving to their feet.
They traded shots, and PJ planted Styles with a Michinoku Driver and scrambled to the top...
Corey Graves: 450 Splash!
PJ went for the cover and got the pinfall.
Corey Graves: PJ Black! The champ is on top, defeating AJ Styles here tonight and...
Joey Styles: Uh-oh. What's this Corey?
The stage are had turned ominous as Alex Riley stood flanked by the Varsity Club.
Corey Graves: What are they doing out here?
AJ was down and PJ stood his ground, championship in hand as Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, The Miz and Riley headed down the ramp. All four men got into the ring and Riley stepped to PJ, glancing from his face to the title on his shoulder. Then with a jerk of his head...
Joey Styles: What the hell!
The Varsity Club began stomping an already downed AJ Styles. The Primetime Players jerked AJ up to his knees and tossed him into the corner. PJ Black left the ring as the two men helped AJ up only for him to be fed to The Miz in a Skull Crushing Finale. AJ lay flat on the mat as Alex Riley leaned on the ropes and eyed PJ Black as Warfare faded and went off the air.
