Eva Marie was pacing around in the locker room. Her iPhone was glued to her ear, although it didn't look like she was very invested in the conversation.
EVA MARIE: “Yes, Corey, I saw your 'standing ovation.' But I'm still mad at you.”
It was obviously Corey Graves, who was trying to get back on Eva's good side after siding with Natalya at Aftermath. Apparently, his attempts were futile.
EVA MARIE: “You know why. I'll forgive you when I think you deserve it.”
Eva rolled her eyes.
EVA MARIE: “Corey, you just clapped. Even Liv Morgan can clap.”
Suddenly, she stopped in her tracks and her jaw dropped somewhat.
EVA MARIE: “Shut up. You did not.”
A smile formed on her face.
EVA MARIE: “No way. Shut up!”
He did not shut up. And that was when she confirmed something positive was said on his end.
EVA MARIE: “YASSSS! You better not be joking!”
Judging by her reaction of jumping up and down, it seemed as though he was in fact, not joking.
EVA MARIE: “Yes, I forgive you! You got me another contendership match. You're the best, boo.”
That explained it. Corey had just given her the news of her upcoming match on Warfare, which was yet another number one contendership match for the Women's Championship. According to him, he pulled the strings to get it, which was probably not true, but Eva took his word for it.
EVA MARIE: “Mhmm, CorEva is back on track, don't worry. Just don't turn on me again. And no, this doesn't mean you're getting out of taking me to dinner.”
No more of their conversation could be made out, as the camera stepped away to give them their privacy.
