MATCH ONE

Joey Styles: Good evening and welcome to Warfare! We are live from Toronto and tonight, we're kicking off the King of the Ring tournament!

"SAWFT is a Sin" hit and the crowd cheered as Enzo Amore made his way to the ring. Once Enzo was in the ring, Darren Young came out to loud boos from the Toronto crowd. When Young was in the ring, the referee called for the bell and the two men began circling the ring. Enzo ran at Young and went for a clothesline, but Young ducked out of the way, then turned to face Enzo and hit him with a series of right hands. Young whipped Enzo into the ropes, before hitting a dropkick. Both men got to their feet and Young applied a headlock, but Enzo broke free and pushed Young into the ropes, before taking him down with an arm drag. Young got to his feet and Enzo hit a neckbreaker, which he followed up with a fist drop. Enzo hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... kickout!

Joey Styles: Enzo with a near fall!

Enzo pulled Young to his feet and hit him with a series of punches, then whipped him into the corner. Enzo ran at Young, hitting a corner clothesline, then as Young staggered out of the corner, Enzo went to the top rope. He hit Darren Young with a diving crossbody, then hooked the leg once more. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!

Corey Graves: Another near fall! Enzo is dominating this match so far!

Enzo got to his feet and stomped on Young several times, then pulled him to his feet and whipped Young against the ropes. Enzo went for a dropkick, but Young held onto the ropes, meaning Enzo missed. As Enzo got to his feet, Young hit an enzuigiri, then lifted Enzo onto his shoulders, setting him up for the Gut Check. Enzo countered it, hitting a DDT! He went to the top rope and hit a diving splash, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Joey Styles: It's over! Enzo Amore becomes the first superstar to advance to the second round of the King of the Ring tournament!

MATCH TWO

"I'm About to Freak" hit the PA and one of the newest acquisitions to EBWF began to make her way to the ring.

Corey Graves: I don't even know what to say right now, Joey.

Joey Styles: Not a fan of Poison, Corey?

Corey Graves: I mean, it's all in the name isn't it?

Another new EBWF talent was next to the ring as Maryse brought the crowd to their feet.

Corey Graves: Now this is a beautiful, classy woman!

Maryse did her usual entrance, but mostly ignored the cat calling from the EBWF crowd. Once both women were in the ring the bell rang. Poison whipped Fox over and mouthed off to Maryse, before getting her with a drop toe hold, and locking on a headlock. Maryse fought to the ropes to break the hold.

Corey Graves: Maryse may have bit off a little more than she can chew here.

Maryse blasted Banks in the face with a right forearm. Poison tripped Maryse in the corner, and then followed through with the Dirty Dozen. Maryse stumbled up and walked right into Poison's Bam!

Joey Styles: And there's the Fireman's Carry Cutter! Poison going for the pin here.

1...2...3!

Christy Hemme: And your winner, Poison!

Poison celebrated in the ring as the referee raised her arm and EBWF went to commercial.

MATCH THREE

"Metalingus" by Alter Bridge hit and the crowd cheered as Edge stepped out onto the stage.

Joey Styles: Up next, the Rated R Superstar, Edge, takes on the debuting Marty Scurll in another King of the Ring first round match.

Corey Graves: It's great to see Edge, Joey... and this Toronto crowd are thrilled to see him!

Scurll was already in the ring, and when Edge entered the ring, the referee called for the bell. Scurll ran at Edge, but the Rated R Superstar took him down with a hip toss, then as Scurll got to his feet, Edge hit him with a series of right hands. He whipped Scurll against the ropes once more, this time hitting a spinning heel kick. Both men got to their feet and Edge lifted Scurll up with an electric chair, which he transitioned into a facebuster. Edge hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Edge pulled Scurll to his feet and hit him with some more right hands, then set him up for the Edgecution. Scurll blocked it, then got behind Edge, hitting a German suplex. Scurll got to his feet and stomped on Edge several times, then pulled him to his feet, and set him up for a Jackknife powerbomb. Edge countered with a back body drop, then grabbed Scurll by the legs, applying the Edgecator! Scurll cried out in pain, but he was able to reach the ropes.

Joey Styles: I thought Edge was going to make Scurll tap then, Corey!

Edge broke the hold and stepped back, allowing Scurll time to get to his feet. When Scurll was up, Edge ran at him, and Scurll put his foot up for a superkick, stopping Edge in his tracks. Scurll feinted the kick, then hit Edge with a kick to the knee. Scurll ran at Edge, going for a lariat, but Edge ducked out of the way and lifted Scurll up for a back drop. Edge then crouched down, waiting for Scurll to get to his feet, and when Scurll was up, Edge hit him with a Spear! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Corey Graves: It's over! Edge gets the victory!

"Metalingus" hit and Edge celebrated as Warfare went to a commercial break.

MATCH FOUR

Joey Styles: Up next, Braun Strowman takes on the Guerillas of Destiny, Tama Tonga and Tanga Roa, in a handicap match!

Corey Graves: Braun has made it his mission to destroy the Bullet Club one by one, but how will he fare when it's two on one?

"I Am Stronger" by CFO$ hit and the crowd booed as Braun Strowman headed to the ring. As Strowman entered the ring, "Shot Em" by [Q]Brick hit and the Guerillas of Destiny came out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Once they were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Tonga and Roa both ran at Strowman and began pummelling him, trying to wear the big man down. Strowman fought back though, throwing Roa across the ring before hitting Tonga with a stiff clothesline. Roa grabbed Strowman as he got to his feet, but Strowman grabbed him by the throat, setting him up for a chokeslam. Tama Tonga tried to come to his partner's aid, but Strowman grabbed him by the throat too and lifted both men up, hitting a double chokeslam! Strowman placed one hand on each of his opponents' chests, and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Joey Styles: It's over! Another dominant victory for the Monster Among Men!

Strowman celebrated as Warfare went to a commercial break.

MATCH FIVE

Baron Corbin came to the ring first, and the crowd booed him as he went between the ropes. "I Hope You Suffer" filled the arena and the crowd turned to a mixed reaction to welcome Jimmy Havoc.

Joey Styles: There are some sick people here cheering Jimmy Havoc.

Corey Graves: I happen to think he's charming.

After the announcements were made the bell rant and Jimmy took Baron down with a side headlock. Baron floored Jimmy with a shoulder tackle, and Jimmy fired back, getting up to his feet and pushing him to the outside. Jimmy followed after, but Baron pushed Jimmy into the ring apron barricade. Baron gave Jimmy a few chest chops, but stopped when the crowd started to count along. The crowd booed as Corbin pushed Jimmy off the apron and into the barricade. Corbin got a top rope shoulder block, and then the two began trading punches.

Joey Styles: These two have a lot of history, and the aggression they're showing is unbelievable.

Baron missed a shoulder block in the corner. Jimmy slammed Baron's head into each turnbuckle. Jimmy went up top but Baron stopped him. Baron pulled Jimmy off the turnbuckle and landed a rolling senton. Baron worked a rear chin lock. Jimmy got to his feet but ended up eating End of Days for a near fall.

Corey Graves: Get up, Jimmy!

Havoc fought back to his feet and tornado DDTed Corbin, which was good for a two count. Corbin followed up with a high knee, but Havoc was able to dodge and sit Corbin up for the Acid Rainmaker. Havoc went for the pin. 1...2...3!

Joey Styles: It's over!

Corey Graves: Havoc moves on! Jimmy Havoc goes to the next round of the King of the Ring tournament.

MATCH SIX

Joey Styles: Still to come, Seth Rollins takes on Sami Zayn in our main event. Up first though, we've got a fatal four way to determine the number one contender for the Women's Championship!

Corey Graves: Eva Marie takes on Rebel, Liv Morgan and Alexa Bliss... the winner challenges Natalya for the gold at Wrestlemania!

Rebel came to the ring first, followed by Eva Marie, Liv Morgan and Alexa Bliss. When all four women were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Eva locked up with Rebel, while Alexa went after Liv, taking her down with a clothesline. Alexa pulled Liv to her feet and threw her out of the ring, then followed her to the outside. Meanwhile, in the ring, Eva had Rebel in a headlock, but Rebel fought out of it and hit Eva with a roundhouse kick. She stomped on Eva several times, then pulled her to her feet, hitting a reverse STO. She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Meanwhile, outside the ring, Alexa hit Liv with a Snap DDT, taking her out. Alexa re-entered the ring and went after Rebel, whipping her into the corner and running towards her, hitting a forearm smash. Rebel staggered out of the corner, and Alexa took her down with an over-the-shoulder arm drag, then hit a standing moonsault double knee drop.

Joey Styles: Insault to Injury!

Alexa hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Eva interrupted the count! She hit Alexa with a series of punches, then lifted her up, hitting a suplex. She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! As Eva got to her feet, Liv Morgan re-entered the ring. Eva ran at Liv and took her down with a spear, but as Liv hit the mat she turned Eva over, hitting her with a series of punches against the mat. Rebel then grabbed Liv, pulled her off Eva and lifting her up for a scoop slam. Liv countered with a headscissors takedown, then as Rebel got to her feet, Liv clotheslined her over the top rope, sending her to the outside. Alexa then got to her feet, and Liv reacted quickly, hitting the former Women's Champion with a reverse roundhouse kick! Alexa rolled out of the ring, leaving just Eva and Liv in the ring. Eva ran at Liv, going for a big boot, but Liv ducked out of the way, then grabbed Eva and hit her with the #201! She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Joey Styles: It's over! Liv Morgan gets the victory, and another shot at the Women's Championship!

Corey Graves: I don't believe it, Joey! She's beaten Eva Marie! What an upset!

You could almost hear Joey rolling his eyes at Corey as Liv Morgan celebrated her victory.

MATCH SEVEN

Christy Hemme: This match is scheduled for one fall and it is the main event of the evening! Introducing first...

"The Broken" filled the arena and the crowd awaited the reemergence of Seth Rollins.

Christy Hemme: From Davenport, Iowa weighing in at 217 pounds... Seth Rollins!

The crowd booed at the name as Rollins got into the ring, but they immediatey perked up as "Worlds Apart" by CFO$ ushered in Sami Zayn.

Christy Hemme: And from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, weighing in at 205 pounds he is Sami Zayn!

The referee looked the men over, and rang the bell. Zayn locked in a side headlock, and held on, but Rollins broke out of it and landed a pair of arm drags. Rollins locked in an armbar, but Sami broke out of the hold only to have Rollins choke him on the ropes. The referee tried to break it up, but Rollins beat Sami down in the corner. Rollins slammed Sami face first into the ring apron. The crowd was booing.

Joey Styles: Seems that Seth might have some misplaced aggression here.

Rollins hit a running knee to Zayn's head. Sami mounted a comeback and fired up, and landed a kick to the gut followed by a neck breaker. The two men traded punches, and Zayn whipped Rollins off the ropes. Suddenly...

Corey Graves: Helluva Kick!

Joey Styles: What a move!

Sami Zayn went for the pin. 1..2..3!

Joey Styles: He was the King of the Ring in 2015 and 2016, Corey.

Corey Graves: Can Zayn make it three in a row?

The referee raised Zayn's hand in victory as Warfare went off the air.
