MATCH ONE

Joey Styles: Good evening and welcome to Warfare! We are just six days away from the King of the Ring pay per view, and tonight, we'll find out the four semi-finalists in the King of the Ring tournament.

Corey Graves: We'll also find out which two women will compete in the final of the Queen of the Ring tournament, starting with Carmella versus Sasha Banks!

"Fabulous" by CFO$ hit and Carmella came out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. When Carmella was in the ring, "Sky's the Limit" hit and the Sasha Banks also received a mixed reaction as she headed to the ring. When Sasha was in the ring, the referee called for the bell and Sasha charged towards Carmella, taking her down with a clothesline. Carmella got to her feet, and Sasha took her down with a roundhouse kick, then as Carmella got back to her feet, Sasha went for a snapmare. Carmella blocked it, countering with a reverse DDT. Sasha got to her feet and Carmella went for a spinning heel kick, but Sasha ducked out of the way, then hit Carmella with a back drop. She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!

Joey Styles: Sasha with a near fall!

Sasha pulled Carmella to her feet and whipped her into the corner, then charged towards her and hit a high knee. Carmella staggered out of the corner and Sasha lifted her up, trapping her between the turnbuckles. She went to the top rope and hit a diving double knee drop, then hooked the leg once. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Sasha got to her feet and stomped on Carmella several times, then pulled Carmella to her feet and lifted her onto her shoulders, setting Carmella up for a fireman's carry slam. Carmella wriggled free and landed on her feet behind Sasha, lifting her up for a German suplex. Both women got to their feet and Carmella went for a superkick, but Sasha ducked out of the way, getting behind Carmella and hitting a double knee backbreaker, transitioning it into the Bank Statement! Carmella cried out in pain and tried to reach the ropes, but when she realised she was unable to do so, she tapped out. The referee called for the bell and as Sasha got to her feet, he raised her arm in victory.

Joey Styles: It's over! Sasha Banks gets the victory!

Corey Graves: What a performance from "The Boss", Joey!

Sasha celebrated as Warfare went to a commercial break.

MATCH TWO

Joey Styles: Well moments ago, we saw Sasha Banks defeat Carmella to advance to the Queen of the Ring final. We'll find out the second finalist now as the six time Women's Champion Trish Stratus takes on the 2016 Royal Rumble winner, Alexa Bliss!

"Crushed" by Parkway Drive hit and Alexa Bliss came out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. After Alexa had entered the ring, "Bossy" by Kelis hit and the crowd cheered as Trish Stratus headed to the ring. When Trish was in the ring, the referee called for the bell and the two women locked up. Alexa hit Trish with a snapmare, then as Trish got to her feet, Alexa whipped her into the ropes. As Trish ran back towards her, Alexa took her down with a clothesline. Trish got to her feet once again and Alexa set her up for a northern lights suplex, but Trish blocked it and hit Alexa with a DDT. Both women got to their feet and Trish hit Alexa with a series of backhand chops, before whipping her against the ropes. Trish took Alexa down with a Thesz press and punched her several times against the ring mat, before pulling her to her feet and hitting a suplex. Trish hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... kickout! Trish pulled Alexa to her feet and set her up for a scoop slam, but Alexa countered with a headscissors takedown. Trish and Alexa both got to their feet once more and Alexa hit Trish with a kick to the midsection, then hit a snap DDT. She hooked the leg and the referee counted, but Trish kicked out at 2.

Corey Graves: Another near fall! Great back and forth action so far, Joey!

Alexa pulled Trish to her feet and whipped her against the ropes, then went for a spinning heel kick. Trish ducked out of the way and grabbed Alexa from behind, taking her down with a one-armed neckbreaker slam. She pulled Alexa to her feet and whipped her into the corner, then set her up on the top turnbuckle. Trish took a step back then did a turnbuckle handstand, taking Alexa down with a Frankensteiner!

Joey Styles: Stratusphere!

Trish hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... Alexa kicked out just before the 3! The move had taken a lot out of Trish and Alexa, and both superstars took their time getting to their feet. When Trish and Alexa were back on their feet, Trish went for a bulldog, but Alexa blocked it, then rolled Trish up with a schoolgirl. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout! The two women got to their feet once again and Alexa went to whip Trish into the ropes, but Trish reversed it, pulling Alexa back towards her and hitting a spinebuster. Alexa got back to her feet, and Trish hit her with the Chick Kick! She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... 3!

Corey Graves: It's over! Trish advances to the final! She'll take on Sasha Banks for the crown this Sunday!

MATCH THREE

When Warfare returned from commercial, “SAWFT is a Sin” blasted throughout the arena as Enzo Amore danced his way onto the stage. He did his usual speaking and got into the ring. As he finished his talking, he dropped the mic and looked towards the entrance way.

“Metalingus” by Alter Bridge came on as the crowd cheered. Edge made his way to the ring and discarded his jacket at ringside. Both men nodded at the official to sign they were ready. The referee called the bell and the two men locked up, Edge got the advantage instantly and dragged Amore in deep for a headlock. Amore clubbed away at Edge's midsection until he released the hold, Enzo ran behind Edge and off the ropes hitting a diving crossbody and began pummelling Edge. He covered for a 1 count before the Rated R Superstar kicked out. Enzo tried to bring Edge to his feet but Edge hit a snap Edgecution DDT on Enzo and immediately went for the over.

Corey Graves: This could already be over!

Enzo kicked out at 2! Edge began to work Enzo’s legs by stomping on his knees and ankles. He picked Enzo up and throw him into the corner, he hit a running clothesline and propped Enzo on the top turnbuckle. He climbed up and attempted a superplex but was met by punches from Enzo. Edge became wobbly and Enzo used his head and head butted Edge, which sent him crashing to the mat below. Enzo perched on the top rope and hit a splash! He made the cover and the referee counted – 1... 2... Kickout!

Joey Styles: Edge stays alive in this one!

Corey Graves: That rat Enzo is getting away with too much!

Edge got back to his feet as Enzo was running towards him, he took Enzo down with a clothesline but the little mouthy Jersey kid got straight back up but was took down with another clothesline. Edge grabbed Enzo and hit another Edgecution DDT! He picked Enzo up and throw him in the corner again, looking for another running clothesline. Enzo countered and grabbed the head of Edge in a headlock and signalled for the corner tornado DDT! As he span, Edge used his strength to throw Enzo off him. Enzo landed on his feet at the opposite corner and ran towards Edge, Edge saw this and ducked Enzo and ran off the ropes...

SPEAR!

Joey Styles: What a spear! Enzo folded in half!

Enzo rolled to the floor and Edge covered him. The referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Edge climbed the turnbuckle and celebrated his win with the crowd.

Joey Styles: Up next, Sami Zayn takes on Jimmy Havoc in our second quarter final match!

MATCH FOUR

As Warfare returned from a commercial break, “I Hope You Suffer” by AFI hit and the crowd booed as Jimmy Havoc made his way to the ring, accompanied by Braun Strowman.

Joey Styles: Welcome back! Up next, the first ever Gateway Champion and one half of the reigning Tag Team Champions, Jimmy Havoc, is in action as he goes up against the two-time King of the Ring, Sami Zayn!

Corey Graves: What a match this is going to be, Joey!

When Havoc was in the ring, “Worlds Apart” by CFO$ hit and the crowd cheered as Sami Zayn headed to the ring. Despite the presence of Braun Strowman at ringside, Zayn was his usual upbeat self as he made his way down the ramp. After Zayn had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell and the two superstars locked up. Zayn applied a headlock, but Havoc fought out of it and hit Zayn with a kick to the midsection. He followed it up with a series of punches, then whipped Zayn against the ropes. As Zayn ran back towards him, Havoc went for a discus elbow, but Zayn ducked out of the way, then grabbed Havoc from behind and hit a half and half suplex. Both men got to their feet and Zayn applied a wristlock, then went for a springboard tornado DDT. Havoc blocked it, shoving Zayn hard into the turnbuckles. Zayn moved out of the corner, clutching his chest, and Havoc lifted him over his shoulder, hitting the Go Home Driver. He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… kickout!

Joey Styles: Great back and forth action so far! Both of these superstars are giving it their all for a place in the semi finals!

Havoc got to his feet and stomped on Zayn several times, then pulled him to his feet and whipped him into the corner. Havoc ran at Zayn, going for a corner clothesline, but Zayn got his knees up and blocked it. As Havoc staggered backwards, Zayn went to the top rope and hit a diving crossbody. Both men got to their feet and Zayn whipped Havoc against the ropes, then took him down with an arm drag. Havoc got back to his feet, and Zayn got behind him, hitting the Blue Thunder Bomb! He hooked both legs and the referee counted - 1… 2… kickout! Zayn pulled Havoc to his feet and hit him with a series of chops to the chest, then whipped him against the ropes, going for another arm drag. Havoc blocked it, countering with a reverse DDT, then hit a double foot stomp. He pulled Zayn to his feet, lifted him up, and hit…

Corey Graves: Brainbustah!!!!!

Havoc hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… kickout! Havoc stomped on Zayn several more times, then pulled him to his feet and went for the Acid Rainmaker… but Zayn ducked out of the way, then hit another half and half suplex. Both men got to their feet, and Zayn hit an exploder suplex into the turnbuckles, then signalled for the Helluva Kick! Zayn ran towards Havoc… but Havoc pushed the referee into the path of Zayn, causing Zayn to collide with the referee! Zayn looked stunned, and Havoc ran at him, going for a lariat, but Zayn blocked it, then hit a reverse STO. As Zayn tried to revive the referee, Braun Strowman climbed onto the apron. He was about to enter the ring, but Jimmy Havoc shouted to Braun to stay out of it. Strowman stepped down from the ring apron, and Havoc got to his feet, then went to hit Zayn with a suplex. Zayn blocked it, and countered with a brainbuster! He whipped Havoc into the corner, and signalled for the Helluva Kick once again, but before he could hit it, he was attacked behind by…

Joey Styles: What the hell? That’s Kevin Owens!

Corey Graves: He ran through the crowd and he’s going after Sami Zayn again!

Owens knocked Zayn to the mat and stomped on him several times, then pulled him to his feet and whipped him against the ropes. Owens lifted Zayn up… and hit him with the Pop Up Powerbomb! Havoc got to his feet, saw Owens standing over Zayn, then got in Owens’ face and began yelling at him! Owens was about to attack Havoc, but he saw Braun Strowman standing on the ring apron again and thought better of it. Owens exited the ring, leaving Havoc stood over Sami Zayn. The referee began to stir, and Havoc hit Zayn with the Acid Rainmaker, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1… 2… ZAYN KICKED OUT!

Joey Styles: Oh my god!

Corey Graves: A Pop Up Powerbomb, the Acid Rainmaker… and Zayn still won’t quit!

Havoc looked stunned, and he sat over Sami Zayn, punching him against the ring mat several times. He pulled Zayn to his feet, hitting another Acid Rainmaker… then pulled him to his feet once more, and hit a third Acid Rainmaker! He hooked the leg, and the referee counted - 1… 2… 3!

Joey Styles: It’s over now! Jimmy Havoc advances to the Semi Finals!

The referee raised Havoc’s arm in victory, and after celebrating his win, Havoc remained in the ring, waiting for Sami Zayn to get to his feet. When Zayn was up, Havoc offered his hand. Zayn looked unsure whether to trust Havoc… but reluctantly, he shook hands with his opponent. Havoc patted Zayn on the shoulder then exited the ring, making his way to the back with Braun Strowman as Zayn watched on.

MATCH FIVE

"Retaliation" by CFO$ hit and the crowd cheered as Dean Ambrose made his way to the ring. After Ambrose had entered the ring, "Counting Bodies Like Sheep" by A Perfect Circle hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Randy Orton headed to the ring. Upon entering the ring, Orton locked eyes with Ambrose. The referee called for the bell and the two men locked up. Ambrose applied a headlock, but Orton broke free and pushed Ambrose into the ropes, then took him down with a clothesline. Ambrose got to his feet and Orton hit him with a series of punches, before hitting an uppercut. Ambrose backwards and Orton grabbed him, then hit a gutwrench elevated neckbreaker. Orton stomped on Ambrose several times, then hit a leaping knee drop, before hooking the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout!

Joey Styles: Orton with a near fall!

Orton pulled Ambrose to his feet and set him up for a suplex, but Ambrose blocked it and hit Orton with a forearm smash. He hit a double leg takedown, followed by multiple punches, then whipped Orton into the corner. Ambrose ran at Orton and hit another forearm smash, then followed it up with a running bulldog. Both men got to their feet and Ambrose hit a knee to the midsection, then took him down with a DDT. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!

Corey Graves: Another near fall! This time Ambrose gets a two count!

Both men got to their feet and began exchanging right hands back and forth. Ambrose gained the upper hand, and after hitting an uppercut, Ambrose set Orton up for the Dirty Deeds, but Orton blocked it and countered with a back body drop. Ambrose got back to his feet, and Orton hit an inverted headlock backbreaker, then began pounding the mat. Ambrose got to his feet, and Orton hit the RKO! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Joey Styles: It's over! Orton wins!

The referee called for the bell, and raised Orton's arm in victory.

MATCH SIX

When Warfare came back from commercial Alex Riley was already in the ring. He was accompanied by Darren Young. All of a sudden "AWEEEESOME" followed by I came to play by Downstait hit. The Miz emerged through the curtain flanked by Titus O'Neil. He received a mixed reaction as he made his way down the ramp.

Joey Styles: The Prime Time Players split up tonight. Probably to show unity in the Varsity Club for this VC on VC bout!

Corey Graves: Ugh- gag me.

The Miz entered the ring, and he and Riley exchanged a fist bump. The ref called for the bell and the match was underway. The Miz and Riley locked up with the early advantage going to Riley. He put Miz in a side head lock and Miz shoved him off into the ropes. On the rebound Riley knocked Miz down with a shoulder tackle. Miz popped back up, and Riley swung and missed on a clothesline, which Miz then hit a back breaker/neck breaker combo. He went for the cover and received a two count. Riley and Miz were both back up to a vertical base. This time Miz went for the clothesline and Riley ducked. Riley went for a DDT but Miz countered with a back body drop, but Riley landed on his feet and hit a standing dropkick. He went for a cover and received a two count. Miz slowly was to his feet again and Riley whipped him into the corner. He backed up and charged Miz looking for a corner splash but Miz moved out of the way, and then planted A-Ri with a hard left hand on A-Ri's rebound. Miz went for a cover but again got a two count.

Joey Styles: Tremendous back and forth action from these two guys.

Corey Graves: I hope they both lose somehow.

The Miz stalked Riley and looked as though he was going for the SCF, but Riley saw it coming, and moved himself out of harms way by rolling out of the ring. The Prime Time Players helped him get up, but Miz was having none of it. He dove over the ropes, taking out all 3 of them, which got the crowd on it's feet.

Corey Graves: Well that was.. unexpected.

Joey Styles: Once that bell rings, Miz is the ultimate competitor. There are no friends then!

Miz was first to his feet as the PTP'ers were yelling at him. Miz screamed back.. "well don't help him up then!" As the argument was going on A-Ri speared Miz right into the side of the ring. He then helped Miz back into the ring, and followed suit. He went for a high knee when Miz rose to his feet, but Miz dodged it. Miz then hit 3 lefts and dropped A-Ri with a vicious hip toss, that sent him to the mat hard. When A-Ri popped back up, Miz locked in the SCF, A Ri, wriggled Free and hit Miz with a belly to belly. A-Ri went for the cover and received another two count. Miz was once again back to his feet and two locked up again. Riley went to whip Miz back into the corner, but Miz reversed it. A-Ri was now in the corner, and Miz then hit his patented running clothesline in which he straddles the ropes. Riley was down, and Miz was playing to the crowd. He looked at the Primetime Players and began talking to them as well. He was really fired up. Riley was slow to get back to his feet, as Miz went for another left, this time Riley blocked it and dropped Miz with a DDT. Riley went for a cover and Miz kicked up at 2.

Corey Graves: Close one there for Riley.

Both men were back to their feet once more. Riley went for another High Knee, but Miz ducked it and hit the SCF. The Prime Time Players had had enough of Miz' trash talk. They got up on the apron, and Miz promptly dropping them both with stiff left hands, the crowd was going nuts. Miz went for another cover and the ref counted 1...2... 3.. NO Riley kicked out at 2.

Joey Styles: Riley kicked out!

Corey Graves: Thanks to the Prime Time Players brief distraction.

Miz had a smirk on his face, as he got back up. Riley weakly made his way to his feet, and Miz dropped him with ANOTHER SCF. He checked the PTP'ers who were down on the outside and he went for another cover. The ref counted 1...2....3! The bell rang as "I Came To Play" hit over the PA System.

Joey Styles: The Miz won! He's moving on to the Final 4!

Corey Graves: What do tonight's events mean for the Varsity Club?!

Miz was making his way back up the ramp as Riley slowly came to. The two men were staring each other down as Warfare went to commercial!
