Ciampa: Roman Reigns. Born to succeed. Wrestling, it's in his blood. He has it all. The natural talent, he has everything. He has the look that folks go for. Women want to be with him and guys either want to be him or loathe him, or both. How can an average person be expected to compete with that? The truth is, the average person cannot compete with Roman. Not every person is made equal and when you look at Roman.

Young: Correct me if I'm wrong but... it sounds like you're saying you don't have a chance.

Ciampa: That wasn't what I was saying. I get why some people would think that, less enlightened folks will probably fail to grasp this. There are those like Roman who are born to succeed, then there are people like me. I was not born to succeed, no, sorry. I worked f-, I worked, I continue to work extremely hard to get to where I am. I have the sort of drive that Roman could never understand. Roman, one of the boys, naturally. Do you think any of that came naturally me, bud? No, was I am natural athlete in middle school. I didn't finish top of my class in anything. At first. But I kept going. And, after making small steps every day. After constant evolution, bruises, bumps, setting up rings, taking crap from indy promoters, after stealing show where there were twenty people to appreciate the blood I shed for them. I took any job that got me closer to my goal. After aaaaall that - I found myself in the right place at the right time. EBWF is the only place that matters. I took it upon myself to enter King of the Ring. Inserted myself in a position that some have said wasn't rightfully mine.

Young: King of the Ring didn't exactly go to plan though, you lost out to Sami Zayn. How did that feel

Ciampa laughs

Ciampa: I've looked up at my share of ceilings in my wrestling career, my win loss record has a few marks, a few smears. But truthfully? That one did not feel good. I've been defeated by worse, Sami is an okay dude. He works hard, I have no beef with him. Hell, once I was out of the tournament I was rooting for Sami. We're similar- he was never supposed to make it as far as he did in this biz.

Frustration plays across Ciampa's face. The expression changes.

Ciampa: That man has determination and so do I so f-, to hell with the haters. Enough blowing smoke though, let's get back to Roman Reigns. Shall we?

Young: That is what we were hear to talk about...

Ciampa frustratingly pulls off his tee. Under it he is wearing a black saying Psycho Killer in red. He steps away from Young and throws the blue tee in the opposite direction. Even without a microphone Ciampa's raised voice rings out.

Ciampa: Of course! Why in the he'll would we talk about something else. Focus on Roman. How many opportunities has Reigns had around here? How many times have they put the rocket under him only for him to fumble?

Ciampa steps close to Young and speaks, almost whispers into the mic.

Ciampa: Roman doesn't have the desire that I have. He doesn't have the drive. I do. Do you believe it Rene? Am I convincing you? How about you Roman? Are you prepared? Are you sh- . No, Roman, you're not. How could you be? Having wrestling in your blood is not going to prepare you to be stretched and twisted. I am an expert at causing pain. I may not have a family heritage. Young: We already... how do I... there is already a Psycho Killer in EBWF. The man who currently holds the EBWF Gateway title - Jimmy Havoc

Ciampa: Actually, I think the other Samoan called Joe is holding on to that title. I went there. Not my business but just for the record. In all honesty though, I'm a psycho killer in the gym, in the ring and in the bedroom. I will leave the actual scary, losing your grip stuff to that sociopath.

Young: Anything else you want to say about tonight's match or to Roman Reigns?
