The Foxxy One defeated Rebel with the Watch Yo’ Face in the opening dark match at Sacrifice.
Tommaso Ciampa made Matt Sydal tap to the Bridging Fujiwara Armbar in a warm-up match that pumped up the EBWF crowd before the start of the pay-per-view.
Alex Riley was in the ring flanked by the Varsity Club on the outside as Dean Ambrose made his way to the ring when Sacrifice returned from a promo. Riley was already yelling trash talk to Ambrose who just smirked confidently. Ambrose entered the ring and the bell rang.
Joey Styles: Here we go!
Ambrose and Riley locked up, and we were underway. Riley gained the early advantage with a side headlock, but Ambrose immediately reversed it and through riley over the top rope with brute force. Riley fell hard to the mat on the outside where the PTP'ers helped him up. Riley slowly made his way back to his feet. They locked up again, this time Ambrose gained the upper hand. He overpowered Riley with a sleeper hold which Riley countered with a back elbow. Ambrose staggered back. When he turned around Riley whiffed on a clothesline and Ambrose then dropped him with a DDT and earned a two count.
Joey Styles: What action here!
Corey Graves: Couldn't agree more!
Ambrose picked Riley up by his head and shoved him into the corner turnbuckle. He then backed up and went for a running lariot, but Riley moved and Ambrose caught nothing but turnbuckle. Ambrose slowly made his way to his feet, and Riley hit him with a spinebuster. He went for a cover but earned a two count. Riley argued it was three, but the ref held up two fingers. As this was going on, Ambrose rolled Riley up and the ref counted ONE.. TWO.. but Riley kicked out just in time. The two were both back up again. They locked up. Riley hit Ambrose in the gut with a knee, he then ran the ropes and Ambrose popped up and hit him with a back body drop. When Riley was to his feet again Ambrose connected on a belly to belly suplex and went for a cover. He earned a two count once again as Riley kicked out in the knick of time. Ambrose stayed on the aggressive. He picked Riley up again and went for Dirty Deeds..
Joey Styles: Dirty Deeds.. YES he got it.
Corey Graves: Wait a minute!
The Prime Time Players were up on the apron, as Ambrose was covering Riley. This distracted the referee and the crowd was counting, but the referee was not. The crowd erupted in cheers as from the back sprinted The Miz.
Joey Styles: THE MIZ THE MIZ!
Miz hit both PTP'ers with running forearms knocking them from the apron. He then pointed to the cover that was going on. The ref turned and counted ONE.. TWO.. THR.. but Riley kicked out.
Ambrose popped back up to his feet and looked at The Miz. Miz was on the apron, as Riley slowly made his way to his feet. The PTP'ers were up now. The ref came over to The Miz telling him to get off the Apron. As this was happening Darren Young hit Miz from behind with a forearm that caused Miz to jerk forward and headbutt the referee, which knocked the ref to the ground.
Corey Graves: All hell is breaking loose, The Miz just collided with the ref, now he is out!
Joey Styles: The Prime Time Players are in the ring now!
Young and O'Neil had entered the ring, the 3 men surrounded Ambrose. They started moving closer to him. All of a sudden The Miz was up on the apron. O'Neil looked at him and Miz said "do it." All of a sudden O'Neil flattened Riley with a vicious right hand. Miz smirked as The PTP'ers beat the hell out of Riley. They picked him up for Miz who planted him with an SCF in the middle of the ring. Ambrose was laughing and shaking his head at the disfunction. He put his feet up on the ropes comically as if he was at the beach. Miz and the PTP'ers exited the ring as the ref was coming to. Ambrose put his foot on Riley and the ref slowly counted ONE.. TWO.. THREE.. and that was it.
Joey Styles: I don't believe this the Prime Time Players have turned their back on Riley to join with The Miz.
Corey Graves: Ambrose picks up the win tonight.
Ambrose left the ring, and the crowd was now booing as they were upset Miz had joined with the PTP'ers. Darren brought a chair into the ring and put it on Riley's leg.
Corey Graves: I don't think they're done.
Miz went up to the top rope and jumped feet first onto the chair, Riley yelled out in pain, as The Miz and the PTP'ers laughed. Miz took the chair off of Riley's leg and hit him 3 more times with vicious shots.
Corey Graves: Somebody stop this!
Joey Styles: Miz one step ahead as always!
"I Came To Play" hit again as Miz, Young, and O'Neil raised each others hands. The crowd was booing. They then let each others hands go and Young and O'Neil played to the crowd with their backs to Miz. Miz then proceeded to blast both men in the back with that same steel chair. The crowd went nuts with cheers, as Miz laid waste to both men with chair shot after chair shot. He was yelling at the men on the ground in between each blow.
Joey Styles: Wait a minute, Miz is now taking out the entire Varsity Club! How smart is this guy! Listen to this crowd!
Corey Graves: Miz getting a little retribution!
Miz was extremely intense and playing to the crowd that was now going nuts. He put one over on VC and he was loving it. "I Came to Play" continued to play as Miz celebrated and smiled as his work on the 3 fallen members of the Varsity Club. Sacrifice cut to a promo.
Joey Styles: Up next, we've got what's sure to be a thrilling contest... Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens collide once again in a last man standing match!
Corey Graves: No love lost between these two superstars, Joey... this one is going to be intense!
"Fight" by CFO$ hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Kevin Owens made his way to the ring. When Owens was in the ring, "Worlds Apart" by CFO$ hit and Sami Zayn headed to the ring. Owens rolled out of the ring and attacked Zayn at the bottom of the ramp, pummelling him with a series of punches then throwing him into the ring steps. Owens tossed Zayn into the ring, then stomped on him repeatedly as the referee called for the bell. Owens pulled Zayn to his feet and whipped him against the ropes, then as Zayn ran back towards him, Owens lifted his opponent up for the Pop Up Powerbomb. Zayn leapfrogged Owens, then hit him with the Pele kick. Both men got to their feet, and Zayn whipped Owens into the corner, then hit him with a series of backhand chops. Zayn sat Owens on the top turnbuckle, setting him up for a superplex, but Owens countered with a swinging fisherman superplex! Both men were down and the referee began counting – 1... 2... Owens got to his feet as the referee counted 3... 4... Zayn began to stir at the count of 5, and was on his feet by the count of 6. Owens hit Zayn with a knee to the midsection, then threw him out of the ring. He followed Zayn out of the ring and took the top off the announce table, getting ready to put Zayn through it. Zayn got to his feet and fought back, hitting Owens with a series of punches, then throwing him against the edge of the ring. Zayn then ran at Owens, hitting him with a boot to the face!
Corey Graves: Helluva Kick on the outside! Will that be enough to keep Owens down for the ten count?
Zayn rolled back into the ring as the referee counted – 1... 2... 3... 4... Owens got to his feet at the count of 5. He grabbed a steel chair from ringside, then slid back into the ring. Zayn tried to wrestle the chair from Owens, but Owens was too strong for him, and he jammed the chair into Zayn's ribs, then hit him across the back with the chair. Zayn fell to the mat, and Owens hit him across the back several more times, before placing the chair down and pulling Zayn to his feet. Owens lifted Zayn onto his shoulders, then hit the Go Home Driver onto the chair!
Joey Styles: Oh my god! Sami Zayn might be out cold!
Owens stood over Zayn as the referee began counting. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... at the count of 7, Zayn stumbled to his feet. Owens hit Zayn with a kick to the midsection, then went to piledriver him onto the steel chair, but Zayn countered with a back body drop, then picked up the steel chair. As Owens got to his feet, Zayn gave him a taste of his own medicine, hitting him hard in the ribs with the chair. Owens rolled out of the ring to avoid further punishment, but Zayn dropped the chair and rolled out of the ring, running around the ring and diving through the ropes, grabbing Owens and hitting a tornado DDT! Both men were down and the referee began counting – 1... 2... 3... Zayn got to his feet... 4... 5... Owens got back up. Both men exchanged punches outside the ring, and after gaining the upper hand, Owens grabbed Zayn and went to slam his head off the ring steps. Zayn blocked it, then slammed Owens' head off the steps. Zayn then grabbed Owens from behind, hitting the half and half suplex! Owens' head slammed into the ringside barrier with a sickening thud, and even Zayn looked slightly concerned for his opponent as he got to his feet.
Corey Graves: Owens might have injured his neck there!
The referee counted – 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... Owens used the barrier to pull himself up, and was on his feet by the count of 8. Zayn hesitated for a moment, and Owens took advantage, hitting Zayn with a kick to the midsection then powerbombing him onto the ring apron!
Joey Styles: We've just seen the difference between these two superstars right there... Zayn was worried he had injured Kevin Owens, but Owens deliberately tried to injure Sami Zayn!
Corey Graves: As the old cliché goes, this ain't ballet Joey... Kevin Owens will do whatever it takes to win!
Owens rolled back into the ring as the referee began counting. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... Zayn stumbled to his feet! Owens hit him with a baseball slide, then rolled out of the ring. He stomped on Zayn several times, trying to keep him grounded, then reached underneath the ring and pulled out a table. Owens set the table up, then grabbed Zayn, but Zayn had recovered and he hit Owens with a sitout jawbreaker. Zayn placed Owens on the table, then went to the top rope. Zayn went to his Owens with a moonsault... but Owens moved out of the way at the last second!
Joey Styles: Zayn goes through the table! He took a gamble and it didn't pay off!
Owens got to his feet, and grabbed Sami Zayn, pulling him to his feet. He hit Zayn with another powerbomb onto the apron, then ordered the referee to make the count! The referee counted – 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10! The referee called for the bell and raised Owen's arm in victory, then quickly exited the ring to check on Sami Zayn. Owens celebrated as EBWF staff tended to Zayn.
Corey Graves: That was brutal! I said before Owens would do whatever it took to win, and whether you agree with his strategy or not, it's paid dividends.
Joey Styles: He might have got the win, but at what cost? I hope Sami is okay!
Joey Styles: Over the last four weeks, we've seen the partnership between "The Bastard and the Beast", Jimmy Havoc and Braun Strowman, deteriorate to the point where it's been damaged beyond repair. Tonight, Havoc and Strowman will settle their differences in a one on one match.
Corey Graves: That's not all, Joey... the winner will hold onto the Tag Titles and earn the right to choose a new partner!
"I Am Stronger" by CFO$ hit and the crowd booed as Strowman made his way to the ring. When Strowman was in the ring, "I Hope You Suffer" by AFI hit and the crowd cheered as Jimmy Havoc headed to the ring. Once Havoc had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell. Strowman wasted no time getting started, hitting Havoc with a big boot. Havoc got to his feet, and Strowman threw him into the corner, then hit him with a big chop to the chest. Strowman whipped Havoc into the opposite corner and charged towards him, going for a body avalanche, but Havoc moved out of the way at the last second. Strowman collided with the turnbuckle, and Havoc rolled him up – 1... kickout!
Joey Styles: I can’t believe Jimmy Havoc just tried to beat Braun Strowman with a roll up!
Corey Graves: Well let's be honest, he's not going to outmuscle the Monster Among Men, Joey! He needs to outsmart him, or catch him off guard.
Both men got to their feet and Havoc hit a kick to the midsection, then followed it up with a series of punches. Strowman fought back with a few right hands of his own, then went to throw Havoc out of the ring. Havoc went over the top rope but he held on, landing on the ring apron. Strowman charged at him, but Havoc pulled down on the ropes, sending Strowman to the outside! Havoc then jumped from the apron, hitting Strowman with a double knee drop, before rolling back into the ring. The referee began counting – 1... 2... 3... Strowman got to his feet and re-entered the ring at the count of 4. Strowman went for another big boot, but Havoc ducked out of the way, then jumped on Strowman's back, applying a sleeper hold. Strowman fought him off, then hit a backbreaker. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Strowman got to his feet and stomped on Havoc several times, then pulled Havoc to his feet and whipped him against the ropes, before hitting a spinebuster. He hooked the leg once more – 1... 2... again Havoc kicked out!
Corey Graves: Havoc started the match well, but Strowman is in control now!
Strowman pulled Havoc to his feet and grabbed him by the throat, setting him up for a chokeslam, but Havoc blocked it and hit a jawbreaker. Havoc then went for the Acid Rainmaker, but Strowman blocked it and took Havoc down with a clothesline. Havoc got to his feet and Strowman lifted him over his shoulder, hitting a running powerslam. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Havoc kicked out just before the 3!
Joey Styles: I don't believe it! I thought that was it for sure!
Strowman roared, then pulled Havoc to his feet and tossed him into the corner. He charged at Havoc, hitting a body avalanche, then grabbed him by the throat and hit a chokeslam. He hooked the leg once more – 1... 2... again Havoc kicked out! Strowman pulled Havoc to his feet again and went for the arm triangle choke, but Havoc blocked it and hit a discus elbow smash. Strowman stumbled backwards, but Havoc fell to the mat, visibly exhausted. The camera cut to the stage, where Chris Jericho was running to the ring holding a towel. Havoc saw Jericho and shook his head frantically... but Jericho threw the towel in the ring and ordered the referee to call for the bell!
Corey Graves: I think Chris Jericho has just thrown the towel in for Jimmy Havoc!
Joey Styles: I don't think Havoc is too pleased!
Corey Graves: Be that as it may, Joey, Jericho's job is to protect the EBWF superstars. He's ending this match before Braun Strowman end's Havoc's career!
Joey Styles: That's ridiculous! He's screwing Havoc is what he's doing!
The referee called for the bell and handed the Tag Titles to Strowman. Havoc was now on his feet and he began yelling at Jericho. Jericho remained calm, telling Havoc "I did what I had to", but he seemed to be smirking as he said it. Havoc went to attack Jericho, but before he could, Strowman hit him in the back of the head with one of the Tag Titles! Jericho shrugged, then exited the ring. Strowman picked Havoc up and hit another running powerslam, then followed Jericho up the ramp.
Joey Styles: Still to come, we've got the EBWF World Championship on the line when Enzo Amore faces PJ Black in the main event! Right now, Natalya defends her Women's Championship against another seasoned veteran, Velvet Sky!
"Missile" by Dorothy played out of the speakers and the crowd booed as the EBWF Women's Champion stepped out from behind the curtain. Completely oblivious to the crowd's reaction, she waved regally at the people in attendance.
Corey Graves: Oh, here she comes Joey! Wrestling royalty has arrived to Sacrifice!
Joey Styles: Self-proclaimed royalty.
Corey Graves: Don't you dare besmirch the name of the Women's Champion, Joey! Show some respect to the Queen!
Christy Hemme: The following contest is scheduled for one-fall, and is for the EBWF Women's Championship! Introducing first: from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she is the EBWF Women's Champion, NATALYA!
Natalya stepped into the ring and raised her championship belt into the air, proudly showing off her prize.
Corey Graves: 221 days of the Queen's reign and counting, Joey! Natalya is on the roll of her career!
Nattie held the title over her shoulder as she went to her corner and waited. She tensed up as her music faded and was replaced by "Angel On My Shoulder" by Dale Oliver.
Joey Styles: And here comes the challenger! Velvet Sky has a huge opportunity here to jump right back into the spotlight with a win over Natalya tonight!
The music played on. And it played. And played. And played. Nattie was leaning against her corner, checking her imaginary watch as she waited.
Corey Graves: Um, is she coming out?
The EBWF Tron switched from Velvet Sky's entrance video to a static shot backstage, showing several medical trainers crouched over a feminine form that was motionless on the ground. A steel chair was wrapped around her left leg. A medical trainer very gingerly unfolded the chair enough to remove the chair and took it away, revealing that the woman on the ground was Velvet Sky, and she was clearly in agonizing pain.
Joey Graves: Oh my God! What happened?!
Corey Graves: Someone clearly attacked Velvet Sky, Mr. Holmes. She's clearly in no condition to compete!
A smirk grew on Nattie's features. She walked towards the referee and start barking orders at him. The ref looked around and shrugged. He stepped out of the ring and said something inaudible to Christy Hemme as she grabbed a microphone. Nattie held the Women's Championship up in the air with a smug look on her face as the crowd booed.
Christy Hemme: Ladies and Gentleman, due to Velvet Sky's inability to compete, the referee of this match is forced to declare the winner, by forfeit, is--
The crowd erupted as "Angel On My Shoulder" again started playing, interrupting the announcement. Natalya had a tantrum in the ring, hastily trying to get the referee to raise her arm in victory, who refused to do so. The referee picked up her title belt as Velvet Sky, wincing in pain, limped her way down the ramp with a look of determination in her eyes.
Joey Styles: She can't possibly!
Corey Graves: Velvet Sky is injured! Someone snapped her leg with a chair! How can she possibly compete in this match?!
Joey Styles: It was probably Natalya that did it, so she wouldn't have to defend her championship.
Corey Graves: HUSH, you! You'll stop taking the Queen's name in vain!
Velvet Sky was followed by a medical trainer who continued to try to get her to walk back up the ramp. Velvet brazenly shoved him off and gingerly rolled into the ring, locking eyes with her opponent. Velvet looked fiercely determined despite fighting back the pain. The referee took Natalya's Championship and held it up, calling for the bell.
Joey Styles: And here we go! The title is on the line, though I'm afraid this match may not last long.
Natalya walked up to Velvet Sky and poked her in the chest disrespectfully. Velvet snarled and clocked Nattie in the jaw with a hard elbow. Nattie fell down like a sack of bricks, and Velvet jumped on her and began laying in hard rights.
Joey Styles: Velvet Sky fighting like she has nothing to lose here!
Velvet picked up Nattie and threw her shoulder first into the corner. Nattie crashed into the corner with a loud thud, and then stumbled beck, clutching her shoulder. She walked right into a Lou Thesz press from the challenger. Velvet hooked Nattie's leg and got a 2 count.
Corey Graves: I'm concerned here, Joey. I don't think Natalya was ready! This isn't fair!
Nattie got to a vertical base and went for a discus clothesline, but Velvet Sky ducked underneath it. Putting weight on her one good leg, she picked up Natalya and hit a flapjack on the champion. She went for another cover and got a two and a half count.
Joey Styles: Velvet Sky is fighting with every ounce of strength she has!
Natalya was slow to respond, and Velvet Sky used the ropes to help herself up. She struck her injured leg several times to get blood moving in it. She measured up the champ, waiting for her to get up. Nattie slowly got to a vertical base and walked into a kick to the gut.
Joey Styles: Here it goes! In Yo Face!
Nattie struggled wildly underneath Velvet's grip. In desperation, Natalya gripped Velvet's injured knee as tightly as she could, causing the challenger's stance to buckle. Velvet dropped down in agony, gripping her knee. The champion immediately took advantage, grabbing Velvet's ankle and dropping several leg drops on the injured leg.
Corey Graves: Look at that, Joey! Brilliant move by the Queen!
Joey Styles: Natalya taking advantage of a terrible incident here.
Without hesitation, Nattie immediately picked up both of Velvet's legs and twisted her into a Sharpshooter!
Corey Graves: THERE IT IS!
Joey Stykes: Hold on , Velvet!
Velvet shrieked in agonizing pain as Natalya sat back on the Sharpshooter, yelling at Velvet to tap. Velvet struggled as hard as she could, scratching and clawing towards the ropes. Nattie used her free hand to strike Velvet's knee as hard as she could. With inches to go, Velvet's hand went limp and she stopped attempting to reach. The referee checked her for responsiveness several times, and called for the bell.
Joey Styles: Velvet Sky passed out from the pain! My God, I can't even imagine!
Corey Graves: Such an impressive outing from an injured Velvet Sky. You've got to have a lot of intestinal fortitude to stick it out that long. But in the end, it's the Queen that retains her throne!
Christy Hemme: Here is your winner and still EBWF Women's Champion, NATALYA!
Natalya snatched her title from the referee and raised it in the air, celebrating in the ring. The crowd rained boos down on the champ as medical trainers rushed the ring to tend to Velvet Sky.
Joey Styles: Well that was hard to watch. I hope Velvet Sky recovers quickly, and we can get to the bottom of what happened here tonight.
Natalya exited the ring with her title and went up the ramp, looking back at the scene in the ring with a satisfied smirk on her face as the camera rolled a video package for the main event.
Joey Styles: Up next, our main event. I can't believe I'm about to say this... Enzo Amore challenges PJ Black for the EBWF World Title!
Corey Graves: I can't believe Enzo Amore is main eventing a pay per view, Joey. This is a travesty!
"SAWFT is a Sin" hit and the crowd cheered as Enzo headed to the ring, accompanied by Trent. When Enzo was in the ring, "Sick of it" by Skillet hit and the crowd booed as the World Champion, PJ Black, headed to the ring.
Joey Styles: Enzo earned this match by beating PJ Black on Warfare a couple of weeks ago. If he wins tonight, he will be the first superstar in EBWF history to hold the World and Breakout Titles simultaneously!
Corey Graves: You heard what PJ said... Enzo might have beaten him on Warfare, but what happens on the big stage is what's important. And I just can't see Enzo winning tonight.
Joey Styles: He's beaten Black once, I think he can do it again. And this crowd sure as hell want to see Enzo Amore as the EBWF World Champion!
As Black entered the ring, Enzo danced back and forth and the crowd chanted "Ohhh Enzo Amore!" Black shook his head in disdain, and as the referee called for the bell, Black charged at Enzo, going for a clothesline. Enzo ducked out of the way, then hit Black with a series of punches. He whipped Black against the ropes, but Black reversed it, sending Enzo into the ropes. As Enzo hit the ropes, Black went for a dropkick, but Enzo held onto the ropes, so the dropkick didn’t connect. Black got to his feet and Enzo charged towards him, hitting a running knee lift. Black got to his feet again and Enzo hit a back drop, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Enzo got to his feet and stomped on Black several times, trying to keep him down, but Black rolled out of the way and got back to his feet. The two men locked up and Black applied a headlock, but Enzo shoved Black into the ropes, before taking him down with a hip toss. Enzo followed it up with a knee drop, then hooked the leg once more. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!
Joey Styles: Do you still doubt that Enzo can walk out of Sacramento the new EBWF World Champion, Corey?
Corey Graves: We're in the early stages of this match, Joey. My money is still on PJ Black!
Enzo got to his feet and grabbed PJ by the leg, going for the STF, but Black kicked him away then got to his feet. Enzo hit Black with a series of punches, but Black fought back with some right hands of his own, then hit an enzuigiri. Black followed it up with a spin-out powerbomb, then hooked both legs. The referee counted – 1... 2... Enzo kicked out! Black pulled Enzo to his feet and whipped him against the ropes, then took him down with a spinning kick. With Enzo down, PJ helped him up and hit the inverted crucifix cutter.
Joey Styles: Black Diamond!
Corey Graves: PJ with the pin.

Joey Styles: PJ Black! PJ Black has defeated Enzo, but man what a fight the Certified G put up here tonight.
Corey Graves: PJ Black survives here tonight, but will he be able to survive Jimmy Havoc in four weeks at Summerslam?
PJ Black held up his championship on the ramp as Sacrifice went off the air.
