Renee Young stood alone in front of the Warfare logo backstage. Obviously ready for an interview, Renee raised the microphone and wasted little time to start.
Renee Young: Fresh off the heels of a great Sacrifice, tonight we've got another big card set for you guys. And starting things off tonight is my guest at this time, Alexa Bliss.
Bliss walked into the shot with an annoyed look on her face. Time and time again Alexa would have to be interview by Renee.
Renee Young: Alexa, tonight you're going to start things off against Nikki Cross.
Alexa Bliss: Um... Who?
Alexa looked bewildered.
Renee Young: Nikki Cross.
Alexa Bliss: Run that by me again...
Renee Young: Nikki Cross...
Alexa shook her head as she had a confused look on her face.
Alexa Bliss: Um... Yeah... That's not ringing any bells. Does she work here?
Renee Young: Yes, she's already had a victorious debut match against Poison.
Alexa Bliss: Poison? Are you just making up names now Renee? Who the heck is that?!
Alexa looked at Renee more confused now than ever.
Renee Young: Nikki has beaten Rebel and your old teammate, Liv Morgan.
Alexa looked at though she was going to be sick at the mention of Liv.
Alexa Bliss: Look Renee, it doesn't matter how many times you mention her name, or whoever this Nikki Cross has defeated. I still don't know who you're talking about and honestly, I don't care.
Renee Young: But you're facing her in just a few minutes.
Alexa Bliss: It doesn't matter who I'm facing out in that ring. It could be the Women's Champion Natalya... Or it could be this made up character of yours Renee, what was the name again...
Renee Young: Nikk....
Alexa Bliss: Oh my god... I know the name. Don't you get sarcasm? You've said her name like ten times already, but it makes no difference. I don't know who she is now, I don't care to know who she is, and after I'm done with her in that ring tonight, I'm not going to remember her even existing. Just like I do with you after every one of our interviews Renee.
Renee shot Alexa an evil look.
Alexa Bliss: Tonight, I'm not going out there to prove myself to some Nikki Cross. No, tonight, I'm going out there to prove that I'm still the most dominate woman on this roster. Titles and crowns, they don't make any difference to me. So Natalya and Sasha, they can both go around claiming that they're the best. They can call themselves "Queen", it doesn't matter. What really matter, and what these people really want to see is me.
Alexa smiled into the camera.
Alexa Bliss: And the reason they all want to see me and not Natalya, Sasha, or even Nikki Cross is because they know who's the greatest. They know who's the best 24/7. They know that I'm far greater than a "Queen". They know that I'm the true "Goddess of EBWF".
Renee Young: Goddess?
Alexa Bliss: Yes Renee, I'm a Goddess, and do you want to know why?
Renee looked as though she was about to answer but Alexa quickly cut her off.
Alexa Bliss: It's because I'm too talented to be a "Diva". I'm too sexy to be a "Superstar". And I'm more renown than a "Queen".
Renee Young: Don't you think you should get through Nikki Cross before claiming yourself to be a "Goddess"?
Alexa Bliss: Don't cut me off...
Renee Young: I.. I didn't...
Alexa Bliss: Yeah. You did. You cut me off.
Renee Young: Alexa, I didn't...
Alexa Bliss: Renee, I don't know how you've kept your job this long, but you have to be one of the worst interviewers on the planet.
Renee rolled her eyes as Alexa looked away.
Alexa Bliss: Nikki. Dear sweet Nikki. Do you really think that you stand a chance against me? I mean, who did Renee say you beat? Poison. Rebel. And of course, Liv Morgan. But honestly Nikki, look at that list. Is that really a list that you could be proud of? You've got a drunk, a forgotten Wes Ikeda one night stand, and a Jersey rat. But don't let me get you down if those at the accomplishments that you parade around. However, I've got a list of actual accomplishments. I'm a 2016 Women's Royal Rumble winner. I beat Trish Stratus at WrestleMania. I've hit Sasha Banks more times than her cousin has hit his bowls. And most importantly, I would be Women's Champion right now if Natalya wasn't too scared to defend her championship against someone that is simply better.
The smile crept on Alexa's face again.
Alexa Bliss: So Nikki, I don't care what delusional fantasy life that you live in inside your own head, but out here in the real world, what really matters isn't what you did in the past. It's what you're going to do in your next match. So your luck Nikki, it ran out the moment it was announced that you were facing me.
Renee Young: You're not giving Nikki any credit going into this match.
Alexa Bliss: Why should I give credit to someone that I don't even know? Why should I give credit to someone that is beneath me? Why should I give credit to anyone besides me? You've got all the question Renee, where are some answers?
Alexa paused and looked at Renee for a second before she turned back to the camera.
Alexa Bliss: If you want to earn some credit around here Nikki, you're going to have to beat someone that matters. You're going to have to beat someone like me. Unfortunately for you, that's not going to happen. Tonight, I'm going to show you just what it takes to make it in this business, especially here in the big leagues. EBWF isn't the indies, and you're not messing around with little girls who can't even lace up a pair of boots. You're stepping into the ring with a former, yet the best, EBWF Women's Champion. And don't let my size fool you Nikki. I may be small, but when I'm flipping on your from the top rope, you're going to wish I was smaller. I hope that you're ready, because Nikki, welcome to the big leagues. So leave your pacifier at the entrance ramp, this isn't a place for kids.
Alexa gave another stern look at Renee before she walked off camera. The show quickly cut to ringside, ready for the night to start.
