Matt Striker stood backstage as Warfare returned from commercial break. In front of the Warfare logo, Striker held a microphone in his hand. He raised it up as the video begun.
Matt Striker: Good evening everyone and what a night we have to come. In the main event, you have Kevin Owens taking on my guest at this time. He is the EBWF World Champion, PJ Black.
Black walked into the camera shot with the EBWF World Championship hung over his shoulder. With a smirk on his face.
PJ Black: What's happening Strikes?
Matt Striker: It's Striker.
PJ Black: Does it really matter? Does anything really matter other than the fact that I did everything that I said I would do, once again.
He smiled as he gripped onto his championship.
PJ Black: I said that I was going to beat Havoc, and I did. Inside his own house. I proved to the world that it doesn't matter who I face. It doesn't matter what match it is. "Big Match Black" has not, will not, can not be beat.
He let out a yell of excitement.
PJ Black: Now don't get me wrong, I have to give credit where it's due and Jimmy, you almost had it, but then you blew it... This was your match. Everything was being handed to you. I was literally tying my hands behind my back. This was yours to win.. But you failed. Just like everyone else.
He shook his head as he finally calmed down.
Matt Striker: SummerSlam was a great night and the "House of Havoc" main event, it was match of the year. You came out of that match, still EBWF World Champion. Which means you're the man that still has the target on his back. The Miz has earned the EBWF Gateway Championship and he now has the opportunity to cash the championship in and challenge you. However, The Miz may have to wait. Tonight you go one on one with Kevin Owens. A man who just knocked off former EBWF World Champion, Sami Zayn.
PJ Black: Come Stripes, is there a question in there?
Matt Striker: Do you think that Kevin Owens has what it takes to challenge you for that EBWF World Championship there?
Black glanced down at his shoulder where Striker's eyes were focused on the EBWF World Championship.
PJ Black: Kevin Owens?
Matt Striker: Yes.
PJ Black: Fight Owens Fight?
Matt Striker: Yes.
PJ Black: The prize fighter?
Matt Striker: Yes.
PJ Black: KO?
Matt Striker: Yes.
PJ Black: Losersaysyes.
Matt Striker: Yes... I mean..
PJ Black: No Matt, you have it right.
Black raised his eyes from the championship and looked at Striker.
PJ Black: You're a loser, but so is Kevin Owens. And don't give me this crap about him beating Sami Zayn. I mean seriously, is that even an accomplishment anymore? I think everyone in this company has beaten Sami Zayn one way or another. It's really not that big of a feat like it once was, but if you want to praise yourself and build yourself up on that fact alone. More power to you. Just know Kevin, no one else cares about this thing between you and Sami.
He turned to the camera as he continued to talk.
PJ Black: See, as you all witnessed at SummerSlam, I'm the best. I'm on a whole different plane of existence than everyone else in this company. And Kevin, you just don't measure up. I mean, come on, I've beaten you already. Sure, I can say that about pretty much everyone on the roster, but still, I beat you already Kevin.
Matt Striker: Yes, you have beaten Kevin Owens, but that was before this role that he's been on.
PJ Black: This roll that Kevin Owen's has been on? Did I just hear that correctly? The roll that Kevin Owen's has been on...
He looked at Strike who just nodded in response.
Matt Striker: He's built up a little win streak.
PJ Black: Screw the roll that Kevin Owen's has been on. Take a look at the roll that I've been on Stride. I've been on a roll that this company has never seen before. Since the end of 2015, I have dominated this company. I have made this company buckle and bow down at my feet. I've beaten the greats. The legends. I've beaten faces of the company. I've beaten the underdogs. I've beaten every body. Which includes Kevin Owens. So this little roll that Kevin's been on, it's going to come to an abrupt halt when he steps into that ring with me tonight.
Matt Striker: You can't deny that Owen's is one tough challenger.
PJ Black: Sure, Owens is tough. Jimmy Havoc was tough. I've got the scars and bruises to prove that, but take a look at Havoc and then take a look at me. Do you see the difference? The different is that I'm the EBWF World Champion. Which means I beat Jimmy Havoc inside that hell that he calls his house. My body, my mind... After I walked out of the "House of Havoc", they're not the same. I'm not the same. I came out of that madness proving that I'm tougher than everyone gives me credit for. So, Kevin, I ask you this, are you as tough as me? Do you think you could have walked into Jimmy Havoc's house and walk out, let alone walk out as champion? Do you think that you're that tough?
Striker attempted to speak as PJ Black paused for a second. Before Matt could get out a word, Black continued.
PJ Black: I ask you this because I don't have to ask myself. I already know the answer to that. I know that I'm tough enough to survive. I know that I'm tough enough to win. But you, I'm not so sure.
Matt Striker: But this is not the "House of Havoc", this is that dangerous.
PJ Black: It doesn't matter how dangerous a match is anymore Super Trooper. The fact is that I went through hell and I came out the other side, the best. Kevin Owens, he went into a match and he made someone pass out from pain. Sami couldn't even say that he quit. His body gave out and Sami wasn't able to do anything. Which, yeah, that means that you're tough. Just one thing, I'm not Sami Zayn. I don't say I quit. I don't just pass out. I've put my body through hell and it still stuck with me, so I know that no matter what, my body's not going to give out. So there is no advantage for you Kevin. You don't have anything going for you, so I don't know how you think that you're still going to manage a victory tonight. It's not going to happen. The sooner you understand that, the quick this match will be.
Black turned to the side and walked off camera.
Matt Striker: There you have it, PJ Black doesn't seemed worried about Kevin Owens at all.
Striker lowered the microphone as the camera panned to the side. Just at the camera was about to cut out, the camera spotted PJ Black. He stood in the middle of the hallway along side two Mounties. The cameraman moved closer to pick up some audio.
Mountie One: Mr. Black, we'd like to have a word with you.
PJ Black: What's this about?
Mountie One: Let's go somewhere private.
PJ Black: For what?
Mountie Two: We've got some questions aboot the disappearance of Zahra Schreiber.
PJ looked at the two Mounties with a questionable look.
Mountie One: This way Sir.
The Mounties then escorted PJ Black away down the hallway.
