Easy Way or Hard Way

Tomasso Ciampa is sat in the locker room.
Ciampa: Opportunity. That is the word of the day. The Breakout title. Enzo has gone untested for a while because time and time again people, fools have let the opportunity slip through their fingers. When I say people I'm referring to mostly this ugly bastard.
Ciampa points a thumb at himself.
Ciampa: Sometimes things click for you, sometimes things don't. Sometimes think sorta click in your brain and you know, you sorta wander off and you lose it. Sometimes you wake up with no clue where you are & have to piece together the night before. Missed opportunity is a subject I have been dealing with a lot. Know what though? There is a second word of the day. A bonus word if you like - adjustment. That's a topic that I am less, how you say, comfortable with. My struggles are clear to anyone who is paying attention. Outside the ring I do not exactly got it together. Lucky for me this contest will be settled in the ring. Adjustment. That discomfort, the uncertainty from day to day. The struggles to adjust. The effing paranoia backstage. All of that stuff disappears when I am in the ring. Win or lose, usually lose - sometimes win. Always put on a showcase. I got a feeling in my gut though. This time. This one. This number one contenders match. This time I am gonna succeed. Victory is my destiny. How apt. How ironic. How... fitting.
Ciampa rubs his beard.
Ciampa: When people see my name on the card there are a few things that must go through their mind. My opponent needs to be giving the shine. This is going to be a match of the night contender. Not exactly negative reviews but the times, she is a changing. The Ciampa stock is rising. I have been handed this shot at the Breakout title. This is my shot, right? I am a bit of an odd ball. We established that one. Could be a struggle, right? Well this match is against the biggest bunch of misfits so far. All the defective toys in one place. Eli Drake. I beat him last time so momentum would seem to suggest I got that one down okay. Jay Briscoe? They call me inconsitant? He comes and goes like the the flu. Or Summer Ray. He slips in and out of this company like regular men slide in and out of... Summer Ray. Jay, you are about as the special flu, the one that Summer Ray seems to carry. On the topic of STIs - the fourth man in the match is my old buddy Noam Dar. You were the start of my problems.
Tomasso close his eyes and slows his breathing. He begins to lose his composure
Ciampa: If my brief time at EBWF, if the problems I faced... Noam Dar... I was comfortable when I signed my contract here. I fit in okay. Had a good reputation. Then you criticise me on the Twitter. Banter is what you might have called those comments. Funny? Well, I disagree. You are a bully. You and Tyler Breeze. Knocking my confidence, knocking me off my path. Stick and stones may get colour in this biz but starting stupid rumours on Twitter is troll bait. Dar, do you have any clue how much shit you have caused me? No. You don't. You haven't considered the impact your juvenile antics. You may charm the ladies. Or grease your wat to what you want. You might crack up the boys. Do you see me laughing? No bud. You. Do. Not. I am super cereal. If this story is going full circle. If our journey has a logical conclusion then it ends with me shoving your own arm up your ass. Drake, Briscoe, you both need to take a step back cos this Psycho Killer has a target. If you want to get in my way then you will be victims too. Dar, you're getting psycho killed. If either of the other two even attempt to stop that they will be collateral damage. I don't want to be Psycho Serial Killer but needs must. One victim or three. Noam Dar you are going to pay for the stupid unconfirmed rumours you put on the Internet. In the alleged words of a legend in this biz - Easy way or hard way, Dar, you choose
