Sunday September 24th: New York City

The scene opened backstage at Madison Square Garden, where moments earlier, Noam Dar had competed in a fatal four way to determine the new number one contender for the Breakout Title. To Noam’s disappointment, Tommaso Ciampa had won the match. One thing that was notable about the match was that Noam’s tag team partner, Tyler Breeze, had not been at ringside. Noam walked through the backstage area, looking for Tyler.

Noam Dar: Oi, have you seen Tyler?

Noam directed his comment towards a stagehand, who held a clipboard and was wearing a headset. To Noam’s disappointment the stagehand shook his head.

Noam Dar: Christ’s sake. Balls to this, if you see him tell him I’m looking for him.

The stagehand nodded as Noam brushed past him. Noam continued down to the Gorgeous Guys’ locker room which was evident by the sparkling letters on the front door with the team’s name blazoned on it. He begrudgingly opened the door to see Tyler and Cathy Kelley sat next to each other laughing and giggling, obviously Tyler was high on Cathy.

Noam Dar: Oh aye, I see how it is. Thanks “bro”.

Noam used air quotes to heighten how pissed he actually was. Tyler looked shocked, and realised he had missed Noam’s match.

Tyler Breeze: Oh, sugar.

Cathy Kelley: Yes?

Tyler smiled at Cathy, and shook his head.

Tyler Breeze: Not you, darling. I was just trying not to swear in front of a lady.

Cathy laughed, and blushed slightly, which seemed to piss Noam off even more. Tyler turned his attention back to Noam.

Tyler Breeze: Did I miss your match? I’m so sorry, Noam. This is Cathy, she just started working for EBWF and we got talking… I must have lost track of time. How did the match go? Did you win?

Noam looked at Cathy as she was still giggling to herself, he was not happy.

Noam Dar: No of course I didn't win. I might have done with you out there but you're too busy trying to spread HIV!

Cathy looked at Tyler, alarmed. Tyler shook his head and laughed nervously.

Tyler Breeze: He’s joking! Noam has a very dry sense of humour, that Scottish wit of his doesn’t always translate well over here.

Tyler shot a warning look to Noam. Cathy nodded, accepting Tyler’s explanation. She then got up and walked over to Noam, smiling sweetly.

Cathy Kelley: It’s my fault, Noam. Tyler mentioned that he wanted to be at ringside for your match, but we were so busy catching up, I’m afraid I distracted him. I’m sorry to hear you lost your match.

Cathy patted Noam on the arm, which seemed to lessen his anger.

Cathy Kelley: I love your accent by the way. Whereabouts in Scotland are you from? It’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit…

Noam’s eyes widened, no-one had mentioned Scotland since he got to EBWF apart from Christy Hemme and well...that WAS her job so.

Noam Dar: Well originally I was born in Israel but I spent most of my life in Ayr and Glasgow.

Cathy Kelley: Wow! Sounds like you’ve got a fascinating backstory...

Worried that Cathy was showing more interest in Noam than him, Tyler got up to intervene. He patted Noam’s other shoulder - where Cathy had been gentle, Tyler was a little more firm.

Tyler Breeze: I am sorry though, Noam. I should have been there. You’re my partner, and my friend. I’ll make it up to you - we both know it’s only a matter of time until the Gorgeous Guys are the Tag Team Champs anyway. We don’t need the Breakout Title!

Noam Dar: Aye you're probably right, Eli Drake ate the pin anyway but i'd rather have won. I'd look great with some gold aye?

Noam winked at Cathy who giggled until she heard her phone buzz from her pocket.

Cathy Kelley: Funny you should mention Eli Drake. It looks like you’ll be facing him again on Warfare! EBWF just posted this tweet…

Cathy held up her phone to Noam and Tyler. The tweet from @EBWF read “Just Announced! Eli Drake will team with Jay Briscoe on Warfare to take on the Gorgeous Guys!”

Cathy Kelley: Do you mind if I interview you? I’m still trying to make my mark here, so the more interviews I do, the more people will know who I am.

Tyler Breeze: Of course, Cathy. It would be…

Noam interrupted.

Noam Dar: We’d be delighted to have you interview us.

Cathy grinned.

Cathy Kelley: Great! Wait right here while I get a cameraman…

As Cathy exited the locker room, Tyler pointed at Noam in the chest.

Tyler Breeze: Are you really going to try and chat up a girl I was already sweet talking, Noam? After everything I’ve done for you? You’re breaking the bro code, man!

Noam’s face suddenly dropped.

Noam Dar: What's the first rule of the bro code Tyler?

Noam walked over to a locker and pulled out a scroll, yes...a scroll. He unravelled it and read out the first rule.

Noam Dar: Bros before hoes.

He put the scroll pack on its mantle and closed the locker.

Noam Dar: Which you have already broken by not being at ringside! I'm not the one in the wrong, you are!

Tyler rolled his eyes.

Tyler Breeze: So what’s this with you and Cathy, some kind of revenge mission? Two wrongs don’t make a right Noam!

Noam Dar: If anything you owe me this one! You always get the girl, let me have this one...just this once. Come on Tyler, be a bro!
Before Tyler could respond, Cathy re-entered the locker room with a cameraman. The two of them were laughing as they entered the room.

Cathy Kelley: Oh my god Greg, that’s so funny! Maybe we can go for a drink after the show and you can share some more of your stories…

Tyler and Noam both glared at the cameraman. Cathy didn’t notice, and she grinned at them.

Cathy Kelley: Thank you so much for this guys! Ready when you are.

Tyler and Noam shrugged. Given that Cathy appeared to be going on a date with Greg the cameraman, they were less interested in appeasing Cathy now. The camera started rolling and Cathy introduced the Gorgeous Guys!

Cathy Kelley: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this EBWF.net exclusive interview, backstage from the famous Madison Square Garden! My guests at this time are the Gorgeous Guys, Tyler Breeze and Noam Dar. Noam, earlier tonight you competed in a fatal four way to determine a new number one contender for the Breakout Championship. You were unsuccessful as Tommaso Ciampa pinned Eli Drake to get the victory. How are you feeling about your loss?

Noam shrugged.

Noam Dar: Aye I lost but I didn't actually lose, Eli Drake did! Sure I won’t get a shot at the Breakout Championship but that’s fine because me and Tyler have our eyes on something else ain’t that right?

Tyler looked at Cathy Kelley and nodded. Cathy was oblivious to what Noam was hinting at.

Cathy Kelley: The EBWF Tag Team Titles?

Tyler smirked.

Tyler Breeze: Sure.

Cathy Kelley: Well, the two of you may not be competing for the Tag Titles, but you will be teaming up next Monday on Warfare. Moments ago on Twitter, it was announced that the two of you will be teaming up against two of Noam’s opponents tonight, Eli Drake and Jay Briscoe. What are your thoughts on this match?

Tyler Breeze: Well Cathy, Noam and I have already proved we are the best tag team in EBWF. Every tag team we’ve faced, we’ve driven out of the company. No one can handle the Gorgeous Guys, and that includes Eli Drake and Jay Briscoe. Noam and I have something which is important for any partnership to work… chemistry. Ain’t that right, Noam?
Noam Dar: Oh aye. The exact same one I can feel with Cathy over there...Chemistry.

Noam gave a wink to Cathy, who blushed. Tyler’s eyes narrowed.

Tyler Breeze: Another thing Noam and I have which makes us such a great tag team is unity. We know that in order for us to be successful, we have to be on the same page. That’s why we’d never stab each other in the back for the sake of individual success, whether that’s in the ring or out of it…

Tyler glared at Noam, making his meaning clear.

Tyler Breeze: Briscoe and Drake don’t have that. They were fighting each other tonight, do you really think they’re going to be able to work together next week? They’re new to EBWF, they’re hungry, and they’re focused on themselves. That wasn’t enough for them either of them to win the fatal four way tonight… do you really think they’ll be able to win against us? We’re hotter, younger, fitter… Jay and Eli have about as much chance of beating us as Greg the cameraman has of getting a date with a beautiful woman like you.

Cathy giggled. Greg the cameraman could be heard groaning.

Noam Dar: I’m sure cameramen aren't supposed to be heard, Cathy, has he just ruined the shot here?

Cathy smiled and shook her head.

Cathy Kelley: It’s fine, we can edit it out. You guys are so funny! So is Greg… but I already have a boyfriend.

All three men were now groaning.

Cathy Kelley: Anyway, where were we… Noam you were competing for the Breakout Title tonight, but you’ve made it clear that you’re aiming to win the Tag Titles, and Tyler talked earlier about how important success as a tag team is for the two of you. Which leads me to ask, what’s more important for the Gorgeous Guys? Individual success, or winning the Tag Team Championships?

Noam wondered for a second.

Noam Dar: At the end of the day me and Tyler will always have each other’s back, do I see Gorgeous Guys as Tag Team Champions? You’re bloody right I do. Do I also see Tyler Breeze as EBWF Champion or me as EBWF Champion? Hell yeah! It doesn't matter which championship we win it will always be a team success. That’s what makes us different from other tag teams, we’re all about the team. Tyler even goes so far to flirt with women for me on nights out if I don’t have the courage and vice versa, we’re all about the team. Right, Ty?

Tyler nodded.

Tyler Breeze: Bros before hoes!

Tyler held out his hand for a fist bump. Noam obliged.

Cathy Kelley: Noam, Tyler, thank you for your time.

Cathy turned to face the camera and smiled.

Cathy Kelley: Be sure to tune into Warfare next week for Noam Dar and Tyler Breeze versus Eli Drake and Jay Briscoe, and much, much more!

Greg turned the camera off and Cathy turned back to Noam and Tyler.

Cathy Kelley: Thank you so much guys! That was a lot of fun. I’ll make sure it gets edited before being posted to the site. It’s a good job I don’t actually have a boyfriend or I’d probably be in a lot of trouble.

She laughed as Tyler and Noam’s eyes widened.

Tyler Breeze: Why did you say you had a boyfriend? Just curious.

Tyler smiled innocently, and Cathy shrugged.

Cathy Kelley: I get a lot of creeps on Twitter trying to slide into my DMs. If I tell everyone I’m already in a relationship, hopefully that will stop fans from harassing me. Thanks again! Come on Greg, let’s go and get that drink.

Cathy turned to exit the locker room and Greg followed her. He looked back at Noam and Tyler, smiling cockily. Noam put his foot out, tripping Greg up! A loud crash could be heard as Greg fell, smashing the camera.

Noam Dar: Oh shit! You better stay here, you don't want Cathy to lose her footage do you?

Noam walked after Cathy.

Noam Dar: Hey Cathy! Greg bollocksed the footage up, he said he’s going to stay and try and fix it. I can definitely buy you a drink though?

Noam followed Cathy. Tyler quickly tried to follow Noam, but as Noam exited the locker room he slammed the door shut, closing it in Tyler’s face.
