Corey Graves: Kicking things off tonight, we've got tag team action as the Gorgeous Guys, Tyler Breeze and Noam Dar, take on Eli Drake and Jay Briscoe!
Drake and Briscoe came to the ring first, then "Where Them Girls At" by David Guetta hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Noam Dar and Tyler Breeze made their way to the ring. Mauro Ranallo: Dar and Breeze working together like peanut butter and jelly right now!
Corey Graves: Dar and Breeze talked about what good chemistry they had before this match, and they're showing that tonight!
Briscoe was able to get to the ropes, and Breeze broke the hold. As Briscoe got to his feet, Breeze set him up for a suplex, but Briscoe blocked it, then countered with a reverse STO. Briscoe tagged in Eli Drake, who hit Breeze with a neckbreaker, before hooking the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! Drake got to his feet and stomped on Breeze several times, then ran against the ropes and went for a leaping elbow drop... but Breeze rolled out of the way! Breeze tagged in Noam Dar, who ran at Drake and took him down with a running single leg dropkick to the leg. Dar then went to put Drake in the STF, but Drake kicked him away and both men got to their feet. Drake hit Dar with a series of right hands, then whipped him against the ropes. As Dar ran back towards him, Drake went for a clothesline, but Dar ducked out of the way, then grabbed Drake from behind and hit an inverted DDT. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... As Breeze got back up, Briscoe set him up for the Jay Driller... but Breeze hit a back body drop, then followed it up with the Supermodel Kick! Briscoe looked dazed as he got to his feet, and Breeze hit the Beauty Shot! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Mauro Ranallo: It's over! The Gorgeous Guys get the victory!
Breeze and Dar celebrated as Warfare went to a commercial break.
MATCH TWO
As Warfare returned from a commercial break, Ziggler and Ciampa were in the ring for the next match. The referee called for the bell and Ciampa pummelled Ziggler with a series of punches, then went for a clothesline. Ziggler ducked out of the way, and applied a sleeper hold! Ciampa broke out of it and lifted Ziggler up for a vertical suplex, dropping it into a knee lift. He then hit the Project Ciampa! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Corey Graves: Another win for Tommaso Ciampa!
SEGMENT
The camera cut backstage, where General Manager Chris Jericho was seen walking through the hallway. Jericho appeared to be looking for someone. He stopped a nearby stagehand and spoke to him.
Chris Jericho: Have you seen Braun?
The stagehand nodded.
Stagehand: He's in his locker room, sir. Down the hall to the right.
Jericho thanked the stagehand, and found Braun Strowman's locker room. He knocked, and as Strowman answered, he glared at Jericho.
Braun Strowman: What do you want?
Jericho glared right back at him.
Chris Jericho: What I wanted was for you to crush Jimmy Havoc, but you couldn't get the job done could you? In fact, he almost crushed you...
Braun Strowman: He trapped me between two pallets with a forklift! What was I supposed to do?
Jericho didn't know how to respond to that; he merely shrugged.
Chris Jericho: Well I promised you a World Title shot if you finished off Havoc for me, but since you failed... I'm going to take your titles instead.
Braun Strowman: What?
Chris Jericho: The Tag Titles. Give them to me. I hereby declare them vacant.
Braun smiled menacingly.
Braun Strowman: If you want them, why don't you take them from me?
Jericho smirked.
Chris Jericho: I'm going to make this real simple for you, Braun. Give me the Tag Titles or I will fire you.
Braun's smile faded and closed the door in Jericho's face. A moment later, he opened the door again and reluctantly handed the titles to Jericho.
Braun Strowman: Take them. It's the World Title I want... and when I get a shot at it, I will make damn sure that I take it.
Jericho shrugged, then took the titles.
Chris Jericho: We'll see about that.
Strowman slammed the door in Jericho's face. As Jericho walked down the hallway, he saw the Coffey brothers, who were getting ready for their match. Jericho held up the Tag Titles.
Chris Jericho: You two. If you beat Jimmy Havoc tonight... not only will you earn an EBWF contract, you'll also be the new Tag Champs.
Joe Coffey: Alright!
Mark Coffey: We won't let you down, Mr Jericho!
Jericho nodded and walked past them as Warfare went to a commercial break.
MATCH THREE
As Warfare returned from commercial, the Coffey brothers were in the ring for the next match.
Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back for our main event! Jimmy Havoc takes on Joe and Mark Coffey in a handicap match, and before the commercial break, we found out that if the Coffey Brothers win this match, they will be the new EBWF Tag Team Champions!
Corey Graves: What a huge opportunity for these two Scottish wrestlers as Havoc continues to endure "The Trials of Jericho"...
"I Hope You Suffer" hit and the crowd cheered as Jimmy Havoc headed to the ring. Despite the odds being against him, Havoc looked confident as he made his way down the ramp. As soon as Havoc entered the ring, Joe and Mark Coffey charged towards him and began pummelling him. The referee called for the bell and Joe Coffey whipped Havoc into the corner, then whipped his brother towards Havoc. Mark Coffey hit Havoc with a corner clothesline, then as Havoc staggered out of the corner, Joe Coffey grabbed him, hitting a DDT. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!
Mauro Ranallo: You can see the fire in Joe and Mark Coffey... the high stakes of this match have obviously lit a fire in them!
Corey Graves: No doubt about that Mauro, but we've seen Havoc overcome the odds before!
Joe Coffey pulled Havoc to his feet, and the Coffey brothers set Havoc up for a double suplex. Havoc blocked it and hit Joe with a forearm smash, then lifted Mark Coffey over his shoulder, hitting the Go Home Driver. Havoc got to his feet and hit Joe Coffey with the Death Valley Driver, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! As Havoc got back to his feet, Mark Coffey grabbed him from behind, and Havoc turned around and hit him with a series of punches before clotheslining him over the top rope. Joe Coffey then rolled Havoc up with a small package! The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!
Mauro Ranallo: Like a thief in the night, Joe Coffey almost stole one there!
Havoc and Joe Coffey got to their feet, and Havoc went for the Acid Rainmaker... but before he could hit it, Mark Coffey re-entered the ring and attacked Havoc from behind. The Coffey brothers hit Havoc with a double suplex, then Joe Coffey put Havoc in the Boston crab! Havoc was able to get to the ropes, and the referee ordered Joe to break the hold. As Havoc got back to his feet, Joe ran at him, but Havoc pulled down on the top rope, sending Joe Coffey to the outside. Mark Coffey grabbed Havoc and set him up for a German suplex, but Havoc blocked it and applied a wristlock, then hit the Acid Rainmaker! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Joe Coffey pulled Havoc out of the ring, breaking up the count!
Corey Graves: The odds working against Havoc there... that would have been a three count for sure!
Joe Coffey and Havoc brawled outside the ring, and Joe went to slam Havoc's head off the ring post, but Havoc blocked it, slamming Joe's head into the ring post. Havoc then threw Joe Coffey into the ring steps, and was about to re-enter the ring when Mark Coffey hit him with a baseball slide. Mark exited the ring, and set Havoc up for a piledriver on the outside, but Havoc countered with a back body drop. Joe Coffey was getting to his feet, so Havoc tossed him back into the ring, then re-entered the ring and hit Joe with an Acid Rainmaker! Before Havoc could make the cover, Mark Coffey re-entered the ring and ran at Havoc... but Havoc took him down with a drop toe hold, then applied the Suicide Silence! Mark tapped out and the referee called for the bell.
Mauro Ranallo: Somebody call the bookies and place a bet, because Jimmy Havoc has defied the odds once again!
After breaking the hold, Havoc rolled out of the ring and grabbed a microphone.
Jimmy Havoc: Cut my music! Jericho, when are you going to realise that no matter what challenge you put in front of me, I will come out of it on top. So you can keep putting me through the "trials of Jericho", or you can give me what I really want... a match against you.
Havoc paused for a minute and smirked.
Jimmy Havoc: Actually, it would be nice to have those Tag Titles back too since I should never have had them taken off me in the first place. But getting the chance to beat you would be the ultimate prize...
Havoc stood at the bottom of the ramp, waiting to see if Jericho would respond. To the crowd's delight, "Break the Walls Down" hit and Jericho stepped out onto the stage.
Chris Jericho: You think you're so special, don't you Havoc?
Havoc grinned.
Jimmy Havoc: Actually yeah, I do.
Jericho laughed and shook his head.
Chris Jericho: There is nothing special about you, James. And next week, I'm going to prove it. Because I have one more challenge for you, and it will be your biggest challenge yet. Next week, on the Warfare Wild Card, it's going to be Rainmaker versus Rainmaker.
Corey Graves: Is Jericho saying what I think he's saying?
Chris Jericho: I called my friend Gedo, and we agreed a deal for the IWGP Heavyweight Champion to wrestle in Atlantic City next week.
Realising what that meant, the crowd began cheering wildly.
Chris Jericho: You think you're something Havoc? Let’s see how you do against the best wrestler in the world. That's right... next week in the main event, you're going to be facing KAZUCHIKA OKADA!
Mauro Ranallo: I can't believe what I'm hearing, Corey! Kazuchika Okada versus Jimmy Havoc!
Corey Graves: Never in a million years did I expect to see that match, Mauro!
Havoc looked stunned, but there was a glint in his eye.
Jimmy Havoc: Rainmaker versus Rainmaker... I like it. And when I beat Okada, there will be nowhere left for you to hide. You're mine, Jericho.
Havoc dropped his microphone and pointed at Jericho, smiling. Jericho glared at Havoc, then walked back through the curtain as Warfare went off the air.
Mauro Ranallo: Good evening and welcome to Warfare! Tonight, we are live from the capital, Washington DC!
