“Isn’t she beautiful?”
The scene opened at a store in Oklahoma, where Tyler Breeze was showing Noam Dar a custom case he’d had designed for the Breakout Title. The camera moved around the case, giving the audience a 360 degree view. The outer case was made of high quality leather, with Noam and Tyler’s initials embroidered on the front. The inside of the case was covered with a purple velvet, into which the championship fitted perfectly. Next to the title was a plate with the words “Property of the Gorgeous Guys” engraved.
Noam Dar: Aye see I told you I’d do it. It’s ours now! Officially, I don’t care what the brass say. We are the Breakout Champions!
Tyler nodded. For sure. We’ll have a couple more cases designed to put the Tag Titles in when we win the Tag Team Classic.
That seemed to please JB, the store owner. He smiled warmly at them both.
JB: Come back any time! I’ll even give you a discount to thank you for your loyalty.
Tyler shook JB’s hand.
Tyler Breeze: JB, you are a gentleman. And from one gentleman to another, I thank you. Come on, Noam, we better head to the arena.
Noam closed the case and picked it up, then both Dar and Breeze exited the store. Outside, a limousine was waiting for them. The Gorgeous Guys and their cameraman exited the back of the limo, and as the driver drove them to the arena, Tyler and Noam continued talking.
Tyler Breeze: You see, Noam, that’s the difference between us and them - AJ Styles and The Miz. We share everything… except for women, of course. We’re real friends, and there’s no jealousy. You won the Breakout Title and I was delighted for you; you’d be just as happy if I won it, because either way in each other’s eyes, we’re co-champion. AJ showed his true colours the night he came back to EBWF, attacking The Miz. Sure, he’s pretending to be his friends, but it’s obvious that he just wants Miz’s title.
Noam Dar: Miz and AJ most certainly share women. Like staring into each other’s eyes whilst the act happens. They’d have to keep an eye on each other just in case they stab each other in the back but I don’t know what they’d stab each other with when they're doing that...erm. I’m not implying anything of course.
Tyler Breeze: I don’t want to think about their sex lives. Gross. What I’m thinking about is those Tag Titles. That Tag Team Classic trophy. I’m sure AJ and Miz are thinking about that too, because they want the glory. The difference is, AJ is only thinking about AJ and Miz is only thinking about Miz. They’re too arrogant to work together with the same chemistry we have. We’ve just got to be clever, like we were last week when we beat Jericho and Brooklyn Brawler.
Noam Dar: Last week we used the fact Brawler is god awful, I reckon we try and turn AJ and Miz on each other because they already constantly try and one-up each other so. Let’s push it to the max?
Tyler stroked his chin thoughtfully.
Tyler Breeze: Could work. Break up their fake alliance by using their arrogance against them. I like it.
A short while later, after Tyler and Noam had arrived at the arena, they were approached by their favourite interviewer. Renee Young entered their locker room and both men greeted her warmly.
Renee Young: Gentlemen, I was wondering if I could get a few words on your match tonight against the team of AJ Styles and The Miz?
Noam stood up and answered first.
Noam Dar: Woah Renee, you can’t put AJ before Miz! The Miz is the Gateway Champion! Are you saying that AJ Styles is the bigger star than Miz?
Renee turned red.
Noam Dar: I totally understand where you’re coming from though. AJ is the draw of the team, former World Champ, top guy in the company. Sure, you can say AJ and Miz.
Renee breathed a sigh of relief.
Noam Dar: Miz won’t be very happy though because he’s the Gateway Champion! Right now, if there was a ranking system Miz would be in front of AJ who even had a victory over AJ. They’d still be behind both of us because well, we’re beautiful and we don’t lose like ever. We’re the Breakout Champion-
Renee Young: Noam you are the Breakout Champion-
Noam Dar: Pardon me! My good friend and confidant Tyler Breeze is also the Breakout Champion! I could not have done it without him by my side, he deserves the right just as much as I do! Back into my point though, I think whichever way you say their team, you’re going to piss one of them off and Renee, you have to decide which one you’d rather deal with!
Renee mumbled.
Renee Young: I’d rather deal with either over you…
Noam ignored it.
Noam Dar: However, none of that really matters anyway because tonight in the Main Event is where we do what we have always done in the Tag Team division and that’s dispatch anyone and everyone with style and grace. Something that both AJ and Miz lack, clearly. Have you seen their haircuts? Disgusting! Whoever they paid to do that deserves putting down and shamed! Miz wears that stupid long jacket thing and seems to think the crowd is on his side when we all know he’s living in a bloody fantasy world. No-one has ever liked Miz because he’s just not a wrestler period, me and Tyler Breeze are wrestlers and we earned the opportunity to be where we are. We’ve just started getting noticed sure, but it’s a long time coming. We can’t all be reality TV stars shoehorned on TV with stupid gimmicks and even stupider looks. Right Tyler?
Tyler smirked.
Tyler Breeze: Miz does look pretty stupid. But then not everyone can be gorgeous like me.
Tyler’s smile then faded, and his expression turned serious as he turned to face Renee.
Tyler Breeze: The thing about The Miz, Renee, is that he’s not someone you can trust. He tried to take the fast track when he got into the wrestling business, and he’s taken shortcuts ever since. He says he’s turned over a new leaf now, and the fans seem to have fallen for it, but I haven’t. I know Miz is still the same guy who will do whatever it takes to be successful, he’d trade his own mother in for a shot at the World Title… he has turned on every partner he’s ever had. The only person who has turned on people more… is AJ Styles! This alliance is never going to work, Renee. They’re the most volatile pairing since Sid and Nancy!
Noam smiled.
Noam Dar: Stranger Things reference! Yes! Love that show, ain’t nothing stranger than AJ Styles though. AJ came back before, not just now the time before. Look, AJ has come back more times than the Backstreet Boys but still. When he won the World Championship he was ruthless, beating all comers including Jimmy Havoc in matches that Havoc should win every time. Styles was the best in the world and the GOAT and now, he’s just Miz’s bitch. Does he really think Miz hurt himself at Fanniversary? It comes straight from the Guerrero playbook! AJ is supposed to be a veteran but still falling for schoolyard tricks because Miz is a damn boy. AJ, as much as I love watching you jerk Miz off, you’re so much better than him!
Tyler nodded.
Tyler Breeze: Too right, Noam! AJ, I have a lot of respect for you. You have wrestled all around the world, and you’ve had the sort of career most wrestlers can only dream of. But I don’t respect what you’ve become. Sucking up to Miz? Really? When you came back, you punched him in the mouth, and I thought that was great! I cheered. Then a week later you were all like “that was just for the stuff that happened in the past, we’re cool now. But I want a shot at your title”. I couldn’t believe it, especially the fact that Miz fell for it. You are a snake, AJ, and you don’t deserve to win the Tag Team Classic. Do you even want to? You just beat PJ Black, I would have thought you’d have your heart set on the World Title. Although Miz wouldn’t like it if you jumped the line and got a shot at the big one… like I said before, jumping the line is his thing.
Renee Young: Well Noam, Tyler, it sounds like you’re expecting the alliance between Miz and AJ… AJ and Miz… to fall apart. Is that what you think gives you an advantage in this match? Unity?
Noam Dar: We. Are. Unity. Embodied. We will come out on top because we are a Team. THE team in EBWF. Tag Team Classic, is our domain. The rest of the “teams” are just faking it till they make it, to the final against us. We will have 2 shiny new belts and all will be great with the world. Okay Renee, you can go now.
Renee looked a little taken aback at being dismissed.
Renee Young: Okay… Noam, Tyler, thank you for your time and good luck in your match tonight.
As Renee exited, Tyler patted Noam on the shoulder.
Tyler Breeze: We got this.
Noam Dar: Aye.
The two men engaged in a “bro hug” as the camera faded to black.
