MATCH ONE

Mauro Ranallo: Good evening and welcome to Warfare! We are live from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado!

Corey Graves: Kicking things off tonight, we've got women's action as two former Women's Champions go head to head. The 2016 Royal Rumble winner Alexa Bliss takes on the woman she beat to win her first Women's Title at Wrestlemania XV, Trish Stratus!

Mauro Ranallo: Both of these women want to be the next number one contender for the Women's Championship, and a victory here tonight would surely put them in contention!

"Crushed" by Parkway Drive hit and the crowd booed as Alexa Bliss made her way to the ring. When Bliss was in the ring, "Bossy" by Kelis hit and the crowd cheered as Trish Stratus headed to the ring. Once Trish had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell and the two women locked up. Trish applied a headlock, but Alexa fought out of it and hit Trish with a series of punches to the back, then took her down with a reverse DDT. Alexa stomped on Trish several times, then pulled her to her feet and whipped her against the ropes. As Stratus ran back towards her, Bliss hit an arm drag, then followed it up with the Insault to Injury! She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!

Corey Graves: A strong start by Alexa Bliss! She's taking the fight to the 7-time EBWF Women's Champion!

Alexa pulled Trish to her feet and went to whip her into the corner, but Trish reversed it, whipping Alexa Bliss into the corner. Trish ran at Alexa, hitting the Stratus Splash, then as Bliss staggered out of the corner, Trish took her down with a snapmare. Trish then went for the sharpshooter, but Alexa kicked her away and got to her feet. When Alexa was on her feet, she set Trish up for a DDT, but Trish countered with a bridging northern lights suplex! The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!

Mauro Ranallo: Another near fall! This time Trish Stratus gets a two count!

Trish pulled Alexa to her feet and set her up for the Stratusfaction, but before she could hit it, Alexa broke free and hit an STO. Alexa followed it up with a neckbreaker, then went to the top rope. Alexa went for the Twisted Bliss... but Trish moved out of the way! Alexa looked dazed as she got to her feet, and Trish hit her with the Chick Kick! She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!

Corey Graves: It's over! Trish Stratus gets the victory!

Mauro Ranallo: What an exciting match that was, Corey... tremendous effort by both these two women!

Trish celebrated as Warfare went to a commercial break.

SEGMENT

“They Don’t Want None”

Warfare just came back from a commercial break when the theme song “Phenomenal” blasted over the PA System. There was a very loud mixed reaction for the new World Champion AJ Styles as he made his way onto the stage. Dressed in a Nike jumpsuit and ball cap with the EBWF World title resting on his shoulder, AJ Styles had a smug look on his face while he rubbed the newly glosses Championship.

Corey Graves: Here comes our new World Champion. Give this man a round of applause.

Mauro Ranallo: There’s no doubt he won the championship fair and square, but his unsportsmanlike conduct after the match was just uncalled for.

Corey Graves: Regardless of the fact, AJ Styles is on top of the mountain, yet again.

Styles made his way into the ring after retrieving a microphone and waited for the crowd to simmer before he began speaking.

AJ Styles: I told you so. I told you so. I told you so.

The crowd gave AJ a mixed reaction as he held the World Championship in the air.

AJ Styles: 9 months. The same length as a pregnancy. The same length as Randy Orton’s overrated title run. 9 fucking months. That’s how long it took me to get this back.

Styles held the Championship in the air once more to yet another mixed reaction.

AJ Styles: Now that I’m finally the EBWF World Heavyweight Champion again I look around and I’m beginning to notice that not everyone is happy. Some people might not feel like I deserve to be Champion. Some people might feel like I’ve taken advantage of the System. Some people might even feel like I’m a disgrace to this company. But here’s the thing, this is the house that AJ Styles built!

The mixed reaction grew louder than before.

AJ Styles: And their feelings don’t mean a damn thing! This business isn’t always about being the bigger person and doing what’s right. Sometimes, you have to do what needs to be done, in order to get the job done. PJ Black, I know you’re in the back watching this. I just want to say thank you for keeping my title warm for me. Now, as far as a rematch concerns... I have beaten you twice in the past month so I honestly believe you need to earn another chance. And before you think I don’t want to give you a rematch, just remember that I had to wait 9 fucking months for mine. So you’ll be fine. Moving on to bigger fish... CM Punk...

The crowd exploded in cheers.

AJ Styles: ...

The crowd was so loud at the moment Styles looked taken back. A very loud “CM Punk” chant broke out and Styles was left to wait it out.

AJ Styles: ...

The crowd wasn’t letting up. They chants were too much for the new World Champion who tried to get the crowd to quiet down but it only made them louder.

“Cult of Personality” played and the crowd became louder even more. CM Punk stepped out from the curtain in his usual gear and a hoodie on. His t-shirt which he was sporting was a new 2017 EBWF Licensed “Born in Chicago. Made in EBWF” T-Shirt. He made his way into the ring and stood on the top of the turnbuckle. He went to shout “Best in the World” but didnt. He jumped down off the turnbuckle and immediately got in AJ Styles face. The crowd chanted loudly for CM Punk.

“CM PUNK! CM PUNK! CM PUNK! CM PUNK!” Over and over and over again.

Punk took the mic from AJ’s hands and raised it his mouth.

“CM PUNK! CM PUNK! CM PUNK! CM PUNK!” Punk wasnt given the chance to speak, he dropped the mic again and smiled towards the crowd. He motioned for the to hush and raised the microphone again.

He looked towards the crowd one more and winked towards the hard camera, raised the mic and then literally dropped the mic.

“Cult of Personality” played and Punk walked out of the ring and up to the rank, blew a kiss to AJ and walked through the curtain

“CM PUNK! CM PUNK! CM PUNK!”. The crowd chanted for Punk whilst AJ looked confused in the ring.
