History Has Its Eyes On You

OOC: I saw Hamilton last weekend, hence the reference in the title lol. There are no Hamilton references in this RP; if there are, they're unintentional. There are several references to Christmas though. Hope you enjoy reading, and good luck to my opponents :)

"There he is! Look, Don... it's Santa!"

It was December 23rd; the day before Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve Eve, if you will. Upon arriving in St. Louis, Nikki Cross had insisted that she wanted to see Santa. After looking into it, Don Callis had reluctantly taken Nikki to "Santa's Wonderland" at the Bass Pro Shop in St Charles. There were holiday cabins, elves, Santa and a lot of excited children. The last one was what worried Don; could Nikki be trusted around so many kids?

Don Callis: Are you sure about this, Nikki?

Nikki grinned, then nodded.

Nikki Cross: Of course I'm sure, it's Christmas! Can't have Christmas without Santa!

Several children were queuing with their parents to meet Santa and get a photo. Nikki pushed past them, making her way to the front of the line. One of the elves tried to stop her, but Don Callis slipped him $50, and the elf raised no further objections. Nikki waited until Santa had taken a photo with the little girl who was with him, then ran over to him, jumping on his lap. Even with half of his face covered by his beard, Santa couldn't hide his surprise and he cried out.

Santa: Oh!

Nikki started laughing.

Nikki Cross: You're supposed to say "ho", not "oh"! Hi, Santa. I'm Nikki.

Though visibly unsettled, Santa tried to maintain a pretence for the children who were watching curiously.

Santa: Hello, Nikki! Have you been a good girl?

Nikki shook her head, which caused some of the children to gasp.

Nikki Cross: Naw. Santa, I've been bad. I've done some very bad things. But I was hoping you could give me something for Christmas anyway?

Santa: Hmmm. That depends, Nikki. What bad things have you done?

There was a glint in Nikki's eye as she replied.

Nikki Cross: I've hurt people, Santa. Lots of them. But they deserved it, and I enjoyed it. I have caused chaos, because chaos is my world. I have fought, scratched and clawed my way through life, and I think it's time that life gave me something back.

Santa seemed afraid. Nikki had that effect on people.

Santa: And uh... what is it that you want, Nikki?

Nikki grinned.

Nikki Cross: GOLD.

Santa wasn't sure what answer he was expecting... but he knew it hadn't been that.

Santa: I don't think...

Nikki got off Santa's lap and he stopped speaking. Nikki glared at him.

Nikki Cross: You're not Santa.

To reinforce her point, Nikki ripped off Santa's hat and beard. More gasps could be heard, from children and parents, and the man dressed as Santa looked both scared and angry.

Not-Santa: Security! Help! This woman is cr-

Nikki cut him off, grabbing him by the throat.

Nikki Cross: Don't call me crazy.

One of the elves tried to grab Nikki, but Nikki turned around and punched him in the face. On Nikki's left, a security guard was running towards her. Nikki noticed and she picked up Santa's sack of presents, throwing it at the security guard. She hit him in the face, knocking him down and spilling presents everywhere. Some of the children ran towards the presents to take one, some of the others were too scared to move, and some children who were upset were being comforted by their parents. Don Callis grabbed Nikki, dragging her away from all the commotion.

Don Callis: Come on, Nikki. We need to get out of here!

Don rushed Nikki out of the store. As they exited, Nikki laughed.

Nikki Cross: That was fun. I love Christmas!

Nikki continued laughing as she got into Don's car. Don drove away, wanting to be as far away from the scene of the crime as possible.

THE VERY NEXT DAY...

Nikki Cross was not a morning person, so she was a little aggrieved when her manager Don Callis had asked her to meet him early at the arena. When she found him, Nikki was drinking a Starbucks latte. What Don didn't know was that this was her third coffee of the day.

Nikki Cross: Well? What am I doing here so early?

Despite Nikki being short with him, Don smiled.

Don Callis: I have an early Christmas present for you. Come with me.

Don walked Nikki through to the arena, where the ring had already been set up for the show. The ring was surrounded by the structure of the Elimination Chamber, which had been lowered from the ceiling. Nikki looked at the Chamber with wonderment.

Nikki Cross: It's beautiful.

Don Callis nodded.

Don Callis: Indeed. I thought you might want time to familiarise yourself with the Chamber before your match. You're already making history by competing in the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber. If you win tonight, your name will forever be etched in history as the first ever winner of a Women's Elimination Chamber match. And you'll be the first Scottish woman to win a title in EBWF.

Nikki Cross: It's about time I won that title. Can I go inside?

Don Callis: Of course.

As soon as she entered the Chamber, Nikki Cross began running around it. She pulled on the chains, stroked the glass pods, and then stomped on the steel flooring around the ring. Nikki appeared to be satisfied. She got in the ring, sat on the ring mat, and rocked back and forth for a minute or so. Then she took her phone out of her pocket, turned the camera on and began filming herself.

Nikki Cross: As of this moment, I am officially the first woman to ever enter an Elimination Chamber! And tonight, at Christmas Eve of Destruction, I will be your new Women's Champion.

Nikki laughed maniacally, then got to her feet. She switched from her front camera to the rear camera and span around, filming all 360 degrees of the Elimination Chamber, then switched it back onto herself.

Nikki Cross: Destruction. That's what will happen inside this Chamber tonight. Destruction. And I will be the driving force behind it all. In the Chamber with me tonight, there will be two of the most experienced female wrestlers in the business, Trish and Natalya. There will be the Harley Quinn wannabe herself, Alexa Bliss. There's that girl from New Jersey who would be called a chav if she lived in the UK, Liv Morgan. And there's that sour faced bitch who beat up Eva Marie last week, Mandy Rose. Five very different women, from very different backgrounds. But none of them are anything like me. Trish, Alexa, Mandy and Liv were all chosen because of how they look; they signed their first wrestling contracts before they knew how to wrestle, because the perverts who scout "talent" thought they were hot. Natalya had the benefit of being Jim Neidhart's daughter... she might have turned her back on her family now, but she wouldn't have made it in this business if it weren't for them. But I didn't have a famous father, or look like a bimbo. No one did me any favours, I did everything myself. I paid for wrestling training, then wrestled anywhere that would take me. It took seven years before WWE even gave me a look in. And here I am just two years later, an EBWF superstar. One of six women that will make history just by being in this Chamber. But when wrestling fans, writers and critics look back on this moment – when they read about the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber – they won't care about the six women who were in the match, they will care about the one that won. And mark my words, I will do whatever it takes to win this match. Even if it means busting every single other woman open and making their faces redder than Rudolph's nose.

Nikki laughed to herself, then flipped the camera back onto the Chamber and spun around 360 degrees again before turning the camera back on herself.

Nikki Cross: Alexa Bliss might be the Harley Quinn wannabe, but I'm the one who should be in an asylum. Tonight, I'll be locked inside this Chamber, but Trish, Natalya, Alexa, Mandy and Liv will be locked in here with me. It will be like my own personal playhouse, with the ultimate prize to the victor – the EBWF Women's Champion. There will be chaos, and I will be the architect behind it. You better watch out, ladies... Nikki Cross is coming to town!

Nikki switched the camera off and exited the Chamber. Christmas Eve of Destruction was going to be the biggest night of her career, and she was excited. As she walked to the back with Don Callis, Nikki wondered if tonight would be her night to shine.
