The scene opened in a dark room, as so many scenes do. In the centre of the room was a table. In the centre of the table was a picture frame. In the picture frame was a picture of Syxx. The picture was from Warfare, March 7 2016 – the night Syxx won the Intercontinental Championship. The man he beat that night? Chris Jericho. The camera panned out, and Jericho was stood staring at the picture. Jericho began to speak.

Chris Jericho: The last time I was in the ring with Syxx, I was both the World and Intercontinental Champion – one of only two men in the history of EBWF to hold both those championships simultaneously. Syxx ended my nine month reign as Intercontinental Champion, and then at Wrestlemania I lost the World Title too. Do you remember your Intercontinental Title reign, Syxx? There's not much to remember, because you lost the title at Wrestlemania just 20 days later. The very definition of a transitional champion. And let's be honest, you only beat me because I was focused on main eventing Wrestlemania. Have you ever main evented a Wrestlemania, Syxx?

Jericho smirked, then continued speaking.

Chris Jericho: Syxx is one of those names that people refer to as an EBWF "legend"... he's a veteran, sure, but I'm not sure if he's a legend. His success has been moderate at best, and yet he refers to himself as Lord Syxx. What are you the lord of, Syxx? Lord of playing up a DX gimmick that is long past its sell by date? Lord of the bronco buster? Lord of showing up for a quick payday when it suits, and then disappearing off into the sunset? Syxx, tonight you are going one on one with a larger than life living legend. The first and only ten-time EBWF World Champion. Talk about your kingdoms all you want, they don't matter. If you really think EBWF is in your realm, then I'm staging a coup. And your kingdom will burn.

Jericho poured gasoline onto the table, then flicked a match, setting the table and the picture alight as the scene faded.
