Backstage at the KeyArena, Braun Strowman was working out. A cameraman was filming him... for an EBWF.net feature of course, not just because the cameraman had the hots for Braun. His workout was interrupted, though, when Don Callis approached him. Callis introduced himself, causing Braun to stare at him.
Don Callis: Excuse me, Braun? Hi. I’m Don Callis.
Callis offered his hand. Strowman dropped the weight he had been lifting, causing Callis to jump. This seemed to amuse Strowman, who began to smirk.
Braun Strowman: What do you want, Don Callis?
Callis grinned confidently and began his pitch.
Don Callis: The question, Braun, is what do you want? Do you want to be opening the show against the likes of Sami Callihan, or do you want to be winning World Titles and main eventing pay per views? You seem a little lost right now, Braun. Let me offer you some guidance. With me in your corner, you could be the next EBWF World Champion!
Callis sounded convincing, but Braun didn’t seem to be buying it.
Braun Strowman: You think I need you in my corner? Let me show you something, Don.
Braun reached into his bag and pulled out an apple. Don Callis seemed confused. Strowman then crushed the apple in his hand.
Braun Strowman: I am the strongest man in EBWF. I could crush Sami Callihan‘s skull like that if I wanted to. I don’t need anything from you, Callis. So if I were you, I’d walk away before I crush your skull.
Strowman continued his workout as Callis walked away. The cameraman followed Callis, who walked up to Nikki Cross. Nikki had been lurking in the shadows. She grinned at Callis, looking maniacal as always.
Nikki Cross: I guess that didn’t go so well.
She laughed. Callis shrugged.
Don Callis: Give it time. He’ll come to his senses.
The cameraman cut back to Strowman, who continued lifting weights as the scene drew to a close.
