The EBWF arena was quiet as the show returned from commercial break. That is, until “Kiss from a Rose” blared throughout the speakers. As the lighting changed to a golden set-up, the fans weren’t sure how to react when Mandy Rose strutted out from the back with the EBWF Women’s Championship draped over her shoulder. Most were still in shock that she was the winner of the first ever women’s Elimination Chamber, as she was the clear underdog. Mandy’s entrance had extra flare when fireworks went off at the top of the stage. Some fans cheered, some booed. Overall, the EBWF Universe was not yet sure on how to respond to someone like her.

MANDY ROSE
“Happy New Year indeed!”

Mandy exclaimed once she entered the ring. Her smile was almost as bright as the Women’s Championship that glistened when the lights hit it.

MANDY ROSE
“Last Sunday, at Christmas Eve of Destruction, I did what so many people called the unthinkable. I, Mandy Rose, in my first match here in EBWF, stepped into the first ever women’s Elimination Chamber, won the first ever women’s Elimination Chamber, thus defeating the woman that no one on the entire roster could defeat and becoming your new EBWF Women’s Champion! That’s why I’m here to say…I told you so.”

Her warm smile turned into an arrogant smirk.

MANDY ROSE
“Nobody in that match was worried about me; none of you were worried about me. You all thought I was the easiest picking you had ever seen. But I told you that I was the threat. I told you they had no chance against me. I told you that I would undoubtedly be the one to end Natalya’s championship reign of terror, and look what happened. I made history. With only one match to my name, I made history! That’s why from this point on, there should be a clear consensus on the fact that I am the greatest female that EBWF has ever seen.”

Some of the fans did not take kindly to that and audibly disagreed. However, there were some that found it hard to argue.

MANDY ROSE
“And I’m sure I’ll be bombarded with statements by those other four women that go something like ‘You didn’t pin me, so you didn’t really beat me,’ because those words are ever so famous by a bunch of losers. Well, to that I say, save it. Because no matter how you spin it, the records will always read ‘Mandy Rose not only defeated Natalya, but she also defeated Trish Stratus, Nikki Cross, Liv Morgan, and Alexa Bliss.’ Exactly like that.”

She glanced over to her title, smiling proudly to herself.

MANDY ROSE
“Not only did I walk away with the Women’s Title after my first match, I walked away having defeated 50% of the women’s division…just like that. It’s only a matter of time before the other 50% bow to the Golden Goddess just the same. Which brings me to my opponent for tonight…Summer Rae. Fitting, isn’t it? Seeing as how my first course of action here in EBWF was sending her ‘bestie’ packing, I can’t think of a better person to pick off in my first official singles match. And I’m sure Summer is dying to get her hands on me because of it too. That, and because this will be the first time in a long time that she’s been in the same room as championship gold. Oh, Summer…look what you’ve become.”

Condescendingly, Mandy sighed at Summer’s expense.

MANDY ROSE
“What was it? Two, maybe three years ago that The Mean Girls were the girls around here? Women’s Tag Team Champions, Slammy award winners…it took the entire roster banding together to take the three of you down. And now? Now it’s just you, Summer. I wonder what that must feel like. Realizing that everything you ever accomplished was only made possible because you had two others to rely on at all times must be tough, huh? I’d try to make you feel better, but you and I both know that it’s hard to comfort someone when you simply can’t relate to their situation. And I definitely can’t relate to that kind of failure.”

After shrugging her shoulders and shaking her head, she continued.

MANDY ROSE
“In one night, I did what you have never been able to do. Because unlike you, Summer, I can actually stand on my own. That’s exactly why I’m here tonight with this belt on my shoulder, and it’s exactly why you will never be able to call yourself Women’s Champion. Not even in your wildest fantasies. And while you may think your passionate vendetta against me for tossing Eva out will be enough to push you to victory, I can assure you that I will embarrass you even more than I embarrassed her, and more than I embarrassed every single women I defeated last Sunday. I said it then, and I’ll say it tonight…this is my time. And after tonight, you’ll be wishing you were sitting next to Eva and Sasha on the unemployment line.”

Mandy dropped the microphone and held the Women’s Championship in the air. Her music picked up once again as the fans showed her how they felt either way. She basked in her own glory as the segment faded to black.
