Lightning crashes and thunder rolls across the desert sky as a figure approaches in the distance through the dimming light. A bolt of lightning lights up the sky and suddenly the figure is close and in focus to reveal none other than a smiling Cactus Jack.

There’s a quick cut to a boiler room, steam hisses and fills the room but as the camera pushes forward, Mankind emerges.

Another cut and Dude Love is strutting down the street in front of a popular club, a long line of people waiting to get inside.

Random Guy – I love you Dude!
Dude – Haha! I know you do!
Another cut reveals the screen in three sections showing Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love all walking towards the camera before it cuts to black.

Mick – There’s no point in denying that I have seen success in my long career. I’ve faced many challenges and found a way to overcome them all. I started training in this ring back in nineteen eighty-three. Now I know what’s going through every mind of every entrant in the EBWF Rumble, and that is that I’m too old and washed up to stand a chance at winning this thing and becoming the new champion. Am I old? Sure, I’ll give you that one. I’ve been in this business for thirty-five years and we all know how unforgiving this ring can be. Not to mention my willingness to put my body on the line. But I am far from washed up.
Mick slowly walks from one corner to the other, sliding his hand along the top rope as he does.
Mick – I’ve held many championships, I’ve been given awards and I’ve been immortalized in hall of fames. I’ve found success both in and out of this ring but this right here will always be my first home. Inside these ropes, in front of millions of viewers, there is nothing I won’t do to make an impact. Of course, the Rumble is no simple match. Thirty men enter and only one will be left standing at the end. Looking at my competition…
Mick pauses a moment, stopping once more in the center of the rope.
Mick – You’ve got the up and comers like Tommaso Ciampa, Mike Kanellis, Marty Scurll, and Noam Dar. Hungry new talent looking to find their footing. Then you’ve got competitors like Sami Zayn, Tyler Breeze, Braun Strowman, and Samoa Joe. Top rate wrestlers looking to push their careers to new heights. Finally, you’ve got the third category of entrant which includes Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, The Rock, Jeff Hardy, and Bret Hart. Men trying to prove that they still have what it takes to be in this business. An attempt to recapture that former glory, even for just one night.
Mick smiles as the reflects for a moment.
Mick – I have no doubt that my opponents have placed me in a category already but if there is one thing I have proven over my career so far, I don’t take to confined spaces. I will always find my out and soar. I feel great, I’ve been training for this opportunity and I am ready to make the most of it that I can. Am I still championship material? In words of a good friend of mine, Hell yeah.
Stopping for a moment with a smile on his face, Mick looks around the empty gym.
Mick – I’ve been in this business a long time and I’ll be around for a few more years. You haven’t seen the last of Mick Foley, not by a long shot. This is my chance to prove those words, to back it up with action. I drew number twenty in this thirty-man Rumble but the way I feel right now, I could go through forty men to get that championship. You want to doubt me? Go right ahead. People have doubted me my entire life. They doubted I could become a wrestler and I proved them wrong. They doubted I could make a name for myself in this industry and I proved them wrong. They doubted that I would ever be a champion and I proved them wrong. They doubt that I would ever have success outside of this ring and I proved them wrong. I set my goals and I rest at nothing to see them accomplished. My goal this time; winning the Rumble and becoming the EBWF Champion if only to once again, prove all those doubters wrong.
The scene fades to black.
