Rise of the Villain

[Griffith]

Marty Scurll is once again in a dark room. He’s wearing his long coat and in his hand is his plague doctor mask. He’s talking directly to the mask, but the words he’s speaking are too quiet to be distinguished. He then looks into the camera and creepily laughs before talking.

Marty Scurll: Last week, the world was introduced to The Villain.

The screen cuts to black and then the finish to last weeks match plays. It then cuts back to Marty Scurll, this time with a black umbrella and the mask on.

Marty Scurll: You see, last week I beat the Hero. I conquered him like I knew I would and the villain stood stall. Hahahahaha

The camera cuts to black as Scurll laughs. The camera then comes back but there is a purple filter on the screen.

Marty Scurll: The Velveteen Dream, well what can I say? There are no dreams only nightmares. I will destroy him and everything he cares about. I will turn his reality into a nightmare. I will beat him beyond recognition. So much so that The Velveteen Dream will simply be known as Velveteen.


The words I Am The Villain appear on the screen. It then cuts to Marty Scurll with no purple background.

Marty Scurll: 30 men will enter 29 will fall. When the dust settles and the scene clears one man will be left standing. That man will be The Villain. You see I am superior in every single way. I will decimate my competition. Number 12 is special you see. It’s a combination of the numbers 1, which means stay positive, and number 2, which means keep the faith. Together they create the message to stay positive, optimistic, and filled with faith. Do you see the irony in that. I am the villain and the villain is the complete opposite of that. After I win the Royal Rumble the number 12 will be forever changed. When they think of 12, they will think of me and by association death and despair. The Villain will emerge a double champion and will rule the EBWF.

The segment ends with Scurll laughing and flapping his arms like a bird.
