Before the Royal Rumble, it was revealed in a brief warning to the EBWF universe, that Rey Mysterio Jr. had returned to professional wrestling. He was a participant in the 30 man rumble, but he would be getting his first taste of in ring singles action against Tommy End, another superstar new to the EBWF. Mysterio was a known commodity, he had been a star in the sport for years, but where would his mind set be? What would be his approach? All of this remained a mystery as we moved towards Monday Night.

The scene opened up in a dark alley. There was just enough light from the sky to make out a clear picture. The sun was setting overhead, and it gave the whole scene a really attractive look. The camera panned away, quick, but when it returned it was now inhabited by a figure. The figure was in dark baggy black pants, and a Gray Hoodie with the sleeves cut off. The sweatshirt was zipped up and the hood was over the mans head, so at first it was hard with the lighting to make out who it was. The man slowly unzipped the sweatshirt to about half way down his mid section, and he removed the hood. Rey Mysterio Jr. stood center frame. He had a gray and black luchador mask on that he had become famous for. He began to talk, slowly at first, but building in intensity.

Rey Mysterio Jr. : All my life I've been told that I couldn't.. that I wasn't big enough.. that I wasn't strong enough.. that I didn't look the way that I needed to look to be successful in this or any other business. All my life I was told that I can't.. or that I won't.. and all my life all I've ever done is achieve.. all I've ever done is accomplish. So recently, when I decided to come back and give a little more of me to a business that has given a lot back.. you can imagine how crazy it was for me to hear.. "no Rey.. you can't.. you're finished.. you can't be what you once were." Well I say that's a bunch of absolute bullshit.

You could see even through the mask, that Rey was angry.

Rey Mysterio Jr. : It's crap, that people think that Rey Mysterio Jr. can't still be one of the most exhilarating successful superstars in the EBWF.. so once again.. as I've done all of my life, I'm going to prove EVERYBODY who doubts me.. WRONG. Monday Night I go head to head with Tommy End, and that is bad news for him. I am not going to be in a situation, where I give anybody the satisfaction of watching me try- and fail. The reason people doubt me.. is because they don't really know me.. they don't know what I'm capable of.. because if they did.. they wouldn't judge me by my size or my demeanor, they would judge me by the things I can do in the ring.. and the things I'm capable of doing. Monday, Tommy End is going to find out first hand.. that I am not only capable of being successful.. I'm capable of being downright dangerous. The amount of nay sayers I have heard over the last week plus.. is doing nothing but fueling the fire that burns in my soul.. and always has.. and that fire is without question.. going to BURN Tommy End. That fire is what's going to be the difference in the match- I'm Rey Mysterio Jr. I am NOT one to be overlooked.. I'm not one to be underestimated.. because like so many people have throughout my career.. if you look past me.. you end up taking a trip to my favorite area code homie.. 6...1...9.

Rey confidently smirked.

Rey Mysterio Jr. : Now Tommy End, I don't know too much about you.. other than you like to get inked up.. and your barber should be taken out back and shot for what he does to you every time you sit in his chair. What I do know.. is that you are in hot water kid.. you are in way over your head.. and you may laugh and make a joke about that.. but I promise you dawg.. you won't be laughing when the bell rings at Warfare and you realize that I aint playin even a little bit homie. You will know within seconds, that you aren't going to have a prayer against Rey Mysterio, you'll know within seconds that you are overmatched.. you'll know within seconds.. that if you were EVER one of those people who had any shred of doubt that I may be done.. or that I may not be someone to take serious.. you were wrong.. dead wrong.. At Warfare.. Rey Mysterio returns.. and shows the whole world.. that I'm back.. and that is BAD NEWS for everybody else.
