The segment begins with a shot of a long dark hallway. There is a shadowy figure at the end of said hallway. He slowly starts walking. As he gets closer, it’s revealed that the figure is Marty Scurll. As he walks down the hallway, the lights behind him go off. He’s wearing a white dress shirt, and a fur coat. He looks up at what little light there is and then directly into the camera.
Marty Scurll: At the Royal Rumble, The Villain was robbed of what was rightfully his. You see I earned my spot in that match. I pinned Chris Hero in the middle of the ring. 1,2,3. For some reason, The Velveteen Dream was in my match at the Royal Rumble. My damn match. I had Hero beat, but that peasant got in the way. He stole my victory and he stole my title. The Breakout Championship should be with to rightful owner, me. The Villain will not stand for this. The Velveteen Dream is phony, a fake, a pretender. You all may not see it, but believe me, I do. And soon enough the truth will set you free, Patrick.
The camera cuts to text: “LONG LIVE THE VILLAIN” flashes on the screen. It then cuts back to Scurll. His fur coat is gone and his umbrella is in his hands. His hair is significantly messier and he’s not looking at the camera. He slowly turns his head and looks directly into the camera. His face shows pure anger and hatred in his eyes.
Marty Scurll: And now this week, I’m facing Mick Foley. Are you serious? I’ve been getting messages all week saying “watch out for Mick, he’s a hardcore wrestler” or “good luck, you’re facing Foley. He’s hardcore". Mick Foley is a glorified stuntman. He’s washed up. Out of his prime, if you would even call it that. Mick Foley is a disgrace to this business and an insult to my pedigree. I should be at the top of the mountain facing off against the best the EBWF has to offer. Instead, I’m stuck with a 52 year old man who can’t even get out of bed in the morning without help. The Villain has never been so disrespected. I will systematically take Mick Foley apart. Broken finger by broken finger. If he had any semblance of intelligence left in his demented brain, he would finally retire and save the world from having to view his decimation at my hands. I will beat him throughout the entire arena and he will suffer unimaginable pain. I wouldn’t be surprised if he just quit on the spot. So Mick, I hope you’re ready to suffer a whole new pain from the hands of The Villain.
The segment ends with Scurll laughing and then fades to black. The word Villain appear on the screen.
