.:: House of Havoc went off the air as Jimmy Havoc continued to celebrate his pinfall victory over Chris Jericho. The crowd was beginning to quiet down and head toward the exits when the lights in the O2 Arena cut out leaving nothing but pure darkness. The crowd cheered in anticipation as a slight piano riff started playing throughout the arena. The riff stopped playing, leaving only the sound of the crowd for a couple of moments…
Bright spotlights came on and shined at the top of the ramp as “Glorious, no I won't give in, I won’t give in 'till I’m victorious, and I will defend I will defend!” echoed throughout the arena. Bobby Roode stood at the top of the ramp shining bright in the spotlights. The crowd cheered in excitement at finally seeing Bobby Roode in EBWF. Roode, wearing a blue and black robe covered in rhinestones, stood at the top of the ramp for a couple of moments soaking in the cheer from the crowd. The crowd began singing along with his entrance theme as Roode stood, still in the spotlight, arms out to his side. His theme song stopped playing, and the multiple spotlights dimmed down to just one. Roode smiled, and started to raise a microphone to his mouth when the crowd started chanting “Bobby Roode” in unison. Roode smiled and waited a few moments until he lifted the microphone to his mouth with the crowd still chanting ::.
Bobby Roode: Well isn’t this a nice welcome?!
.:: The crowd cheered loudly, and then quieted down some as Roode continue to speak ::.
Bobby Roode: Jimmy, sorry for stealing your… spotlight.
.:: Roode smiled as if to acknowledge the joke he had made, as he was indeed standing in the only spotlight in the arena ::.
Bobby Roode: My name is Bobby Roode… But apparently you all already know that!
.:: The crowd cheered again ::.
Bobby Roode: Your eyes and ears do not deceive you, my friends! As of yesterday afternoon, I am the newest EBWF superstar! And let me tell you, it feels GOOD!...
.:: Roode paused for a moment and looked perplexed ::.
Bobby Roode: No, that doesn’t describe it… It feels GREAT!
.:: Roode paused again, as the crowd started chanting “Glorious!” ::.
Bobby Roode: That’s right! It feels GLORIOUSSSSSS! I just wanted to come out here really quick, at Jimmy’s expense, to let everyone seeing my glorious self, know that as of this very moment… The Glorious Era has started in EBWF! I’ll see you boys, and you too Jimmy, on Warfare! It’s going to be…. GLORIOUS!
.:: The crowd cheered loudly as Roode dropped the microphone and “Glorious Domination” started playing through the arena again. Roode stood on the ramp posing for the fans, basking in their cheers ::.
---------------------------------------------------------
.:: The camera shot showed the curtain from the back hallways, the curtain that leads out to the O2 Arena. “Glorious Domination” could still be heard playing throughout the arena, and the crowd could still be hear cheering for Bobby Roode. After a couple of moments, Bobby Roode walked through the curtain with a huge smile on his face. Roode acknowledged the camera and continued to walk down the hallway. Renee Young was then seen rushing after Roode ::.
Renee Young: Bobby… Bobby could I have a couple seconds of your time?
.:: Rood stopped and turned around, still sporting a smile on his face ::.
Bobby Roode: Renee Young!... Of coarse you can! What’s up girl?
Renee Young: First, I want to welcome you to EBWF. Bobby, what are your thoughts on the reaction and welcome you just received from the EBWF faithful?
BR: Renee, I wasn’t shocked at all! I have known for years that this was where I wanted to be. I didn’t only want to be here because EBWF has the best talent in professional wrestling, I wanted to be here because I know that the EBWF has the best fans in professional wrestling! Now, Renee, I’ve wrestled in multiple countries, for multiple organizations, but not once did I stand in front of a crowd like the one I just stood in front of. I’m beyond excited to be here, and just as humbled by what just happened out there! Renee, please excuse me, I need to go talk to someone important about Warfare!
---------------------------------------------------------
.:: Bobby Roode was seen standing in front of a large screen with the Warfare logo on it. Roode, wearing a black suit jacket and pants with a white collared shirt, looked like he was talking to someone off camera, and then turned to the camera ::.
Bobby Roode: Oh, hello, didn’t see you there… Welcome to Warfare, and welcome to the TD Garden here in beautiful Boston, Mass! .:: Roode smiled ::. Man, I’ve been waiting to say that for a really long time. The last time you saw me, I was walking to talk to someone important about tonight. I won’t drop any names, but that person I talked to guaranteed me a match tonight. .:: Roode paused ::. Let me ask a couple of questions really quick. What do July 11, 1914, October 10, 1979, October 26, 1984, and September 30, 2001 have in common? July 11, 1914 Babe Ruth makes his professional baseball debut. October 10, 1979 Wayne Gretzky makes his NHL debut. October 26, 1984 Michael Jordan makes his NBA debut. And the one that the people here tonight may find the most exciting, September 30, 2001 Tom Brady makes his first start in the NFL for the New England Patriots! These four men are arguably the greatest athletes to ever play their sports. Why do I bring these four greats up tonight, on Warfare? Because you are going to have to add another date to those ones I just listed. March 5, 2018… The date Bobby Roode makes his debut on EBWF Warfare! The debut date of the soon to be greatest… most glorious superstar in EBWF history! You heard that right, they came through and I have a match tonight against Johnny Gargano…
.:: Roode paused for a second and then spoke again ::.
BR: …The same Johnny Gargano that I have a history with from another company. Johnny and I have a good friendship. Such a good friendship, that I did all I could do back in those days to help make and keep him relevant. I don’t want to throw shade or toot my own horn… but toot, toot baby! When Johnny needed someone established in the business to help get his name known, he came to me! When his newness wore off, and people grew tired of him, I did what I could to keep him relevant. Does everyone remember the glorious bomb? .:: Roode chuckled to himself ::. Tonight, marks the beginning of the glorious era in EBWF and as such, means this is totally different than past companies. Where I once created and helped Johnny, here I will start his tenure off on the other foot. Actually, tonight I will help Johnny. I will help Johnny begin another search, for a new wrestling organization, because tonight I will beat Johnny Gargano… and he will see his chance in EBWF slip through his fingers. The glorious era will get off on the right foot tonight… or should I say head? Because after I plant Gargano’s head in the mat with a Glorious DDT, the glorious era will indeed get off on the right head!... And it will be… .:: Roode put his finger up toward the camera ::. Wait for it… GLORIOUS!!!!
.:: The camera zoomed in on the face of Bobby Roode as the camera faded to dark ::.
