The scene opened backstage in front of the Women’s Locker Room. The hallways were abuzz with just a little less than two weeks to go before Wrestlemania. Kathy Kelley was all smiles as she held a microphone.
Kathy Kelley: I am expecting to get a word with Trish Stratus about her match tonight against Liv Morgan. We’re just two weeks away from Wrestlemania and it looks like Trish might have an opportunity to…
The door to the locker room opened, and Trish stepped out in her brand new “Wonder Stratus” t-shirt, and a pair of well fitting jeans.
Trish Stratus: What were you saying Kathy?
Kathy Kelley: That I was hoping to have a word with you ahead of your match tonight.
Trish Stratus: Well, first of all…. Oh Canada! My home and Native Land! It is good to be in Montreal tonight!
They heard the crowd roar in the arena.
Trish Stratus: Though if I’m being honest with you Kathy, cheap pops aside, it’s getting pretty damn hard to be one of the good ones around here. Is this some kind of joke? You’re having me, ME, face the women’s champion two weeks before Wrestlemania. Are you just trying to tease these fans? We know that Alexa Bliss is facing Liv for the Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania, but now that match is going to be tainted by the fact that I’ll have a legitimate claim to the championship. The fans will know they could have seen a five-star match, and instead they’ll get mediocre at best. Guess the GM just wanted to see me embarrass Liv, and make sure she knows what real talent is ahead of her throw away match at Wrestlemania. Those are my thoughts on tonight’s match, Kathy. Now, excuse me.
Trish turned from the interviewer and went back into the women’s locker room leaving the screen to fade to black.
