Mauro Ranallo: Good evening and welcome to Warfare! We are live from Milwaukee, Wisconsin!
Corey Graves: Kicking things off tonight, we've got the Bruiserweight Pete Dunne in action as he goes one on one with Tommaso Ciampa!
Pete Dunne came to the ring first, followed by Tommaso Ciampa. The two superstars stared one another down, and the referee was about to call for the bell when "I Am Stronger" by CFO$ hit and Braun Strowman stepped out onto the stage.
Corey Graves: What is Braun Strowman doing out here, Mauro?
Mauro Ranallo: I'm not sure, Corey, but I think business is about to pick up!
Strowman pointed at the ring and walked down the ramp, Dunne and Ciampa staring at him as he did so. As Strowman entered the ring, the referee approached him, ordering him to go to the back. Strowman grabbed the referee by the scruff of the neck, and threw him down onto the mat! Pete Dunne then charged at Strowman, but Strowman took him down with a big boot, before turning his attention to Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa and Strowman exchanged right hands, but Strowman was able to quickly overpower him and he threw Ciampa into the corner, then ran at him, crushing Ciampa with a bodypress. As Ciampa fell to the mat, Strowman raised his arms in the air and roared! The crowd began to cheer.
Mauro Ranallo: I can't believe it, Corey... I think the fans here in Milwaukee tonight are enjoying the chaos Braun Strowman is causing!
Pete Dunne got to his feet, and went to attack Braun Strowman, but Strowman was ready for him and he lifted Dunne up, hitting a running powerslam. Strowman then turned his attention back to Ciampa, who had rolled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair from ringside. Strowman began laughing, and dared Ciampa to re-enter the ring. Ciampa did so, and swung the chair at Strowman, but Strowman knocked it out of Ciampa's hands! He then grabbed Ciampa by the throat, lifting him up and hitting a chokeslam! Strowman then picked up the chair, and turned to Pete Dunne, who rolled out of the ring to avoid further punishment. Strowman then turned back to Tommaso Ciampa, who was beginning to stir. As Ciampa tried to get to his feet, Strowman hit him full force across the head with the chair!
Corey Graves: Oh my god! Strowman has busted Tommaso Ciampa wide open!
Mauro Ranallo: Strowman is treating Ciampa and Dunne like bitter enemies... what is the meaning of this?
As blood trickled down Tommaso Ciampa's forehead, Strowman dropped the chair and dragged Ciampa to his feet. Strowman lifted Ciampa over his shoulder, and hit a running powerslam onto the chair! He then threw Ciampa out of the ring, and grabbed a microphone from ringside.
Braun Strowman: That was a reminder of the destruction I can cause. I am the most dangerous superstar in the EBWF, but I am not being given the opportunity to show what I can do because Wes Ikeda doesn't like me. So I decided to take matters into my own hands. I wasn't given a match at Wrestlemania, and I haven't been given a match since. Tonight, I'm demanding one. I'm issuing an open challenge for anyone in the back to come and fight me... and I'm not leaving this ring until someone does.
Corey Graves: Who would be crazy enough to answer Strowman's challenge after seeing what just happened?!
“Catch your Breath (Remix)” played as Finn Balor made his way onto the stage. Balor did his usual poses and flashed his abs till he got to the ringside.
Finn Balor: Braun. I’m ‘ere t’ make you join me. T’ join meself and Nikki in our quest to…
He looked to the camera.
Finn Balor: Take. OVER.
Finn got in the ring.
Finn Balor: I know you’ll say a bunch a’ things about not wanting t’ join us but, you have to. He said so. So instead of me talking to you, I’m just gonna beat ya’ until you say yes.
Braun laughed.
Finn Balor: Sumtin’ funny? This is happening.
Balor threw the microphone at Braun and jumped at him as the big man took the hit. Balor started laying down strikes until Braun threw him into the opposing corner.
The ref checked on Balor who agreed and the ref officially started a match.
Mauro Ranallo: Well I guess Braun Strowman got his match, Corey. Finn Balor is either very brave or very foolish!
Corey Graves: He is going up against a man who has never been pinned or submitted while he’s been an EBWF superstar… given that Balor seems to think he can impress Braun Strowman by beating him, I’d say he’s very foolish!
Balor moved out of the corner and hit Strowman with a flurry of punches, but Strowman fought back with some punches of his own, then whipped Balor against the ropes. Strowman went for a big boot, but Balor ducked out of the way, ran against the opposing set of ropes and hit Strowman with a flying forearm smash. Balor ran against the ropes once more, this time going for a slingblade, but Strowman caught him in the air and hit a spinebuster! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… kickout! Strowman pulled Balor to his feet and whipped him into the corner, then charged towards him, but Balor moved out of the way at the last second, causing Strowman to collide with the turnbuckles. Balor rolled Strowman up - 1… Strowman kicked out! As Strowman got to his feet, Balor smiled at him.
Mauro Ranallo: Balor seems to be enjoying this and Strowman is not impressed!
Strowman glared at Balor, then took him down with a stiff clothesline. As Balor stumbled to his feet, Strowman lifted him over his shoulder and hit a running powerslam. He hooked the leg - 1… 2… Balor kicked out! Strowman looked stunned.
Corey Graves: I’m not sure I’ve seen anyone kick out of that before!
Strowman picked Balor up and hit a second running powerslam, then hooked the leg once more. The referee counted - 1… 2… again Balor kicked out!
Mauro Ranallo: Finn Balor kicks out of another running powerslam… how is he doing this?!
Strowman looked like he couldn’t believe it, and as he dragged Balor to his feet he grabbed him by the throat, setting him up for a chokeslam. Balor fought out of it, hitting Strowman with a kick to the gut then taking him down with a DDT! Wearily, Balor draped an arm over Strowman. The referee counted - 1… 2… Strowman kicked out! Balor got to his feet and went to the top rope, going for the Coup de Grâce, but before he could hit it, Strowman sat up then got to his feet. Balor went for a diving crossbody, but Strowman caught him in midair, lifted Balor over his shoulder and hit a third running powerslam! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Balor kicked out just before the 3!
Corey Graves: Oh my god! Balor is showing incredible resilience here!
Strowman grabbed the referee and yelled at him. The referee nodded and called for the bell, then spoke to ring announcer Christy Hemme. Hemme looked confused, but nodded and brought her microphone to her lips.
Christy Hemme: Ladies and gentlemen, at the request of Braun Strowman, this match has been declared a no contest!
Balor used the ropes to pull himself up, and stared at Braun Strowman. Strowman nodded, and Balor grinned.
Mauro Ranallo: Does this mean what I think it means, Corey?
Corey Graves: I think Strowman just agreed to join forces with Finn Balor!
Mauro Ranallo: He must have been impressed by Balor’s fortitude… the Demon King now is a monster in his arsenal!
Balor raised Strowman’s arm in the air, then the two men made their way to the back.
Mauro Ranallo: Up next, we’ve got Daniel Bryan in action as the leader of the Yes Movement goes one on one with the somewhat unhinged Jon Moxley!
“Flight of the Valkyries” hit and the crowd chanted “Yes” as Daniel Bryan made his way to the ring. As Bryan entered the ring, he climbed the turnbuckle and raised his arms in the air, leading the crowd in their “Yes” chants. Bryan then climbed down and stood in the corner of the ring as Jon Moxley headed to the ring. Moxley received a mixed reaction from the crowd, and upon entering the ring he smiled sadistically at Bryan. The referee called for the bell and Moxley ran at Bryan, but Bryan took him down with an arm drag. Moxley got to his feet and went for a right hand, but Bryan grabbed Moxley by the arm and put him in a hammerlock. Moxley was able to fight out of it, and he whipped Bryan against the ropes, then went for a clothesline. Bryan ducked out of the way and grabbed Moxley from behind, lifting him up for a German suplex! The crowd cheered and began chanting Bryan’s name.
Mauro Ranallo: There’s a contrast in styles here, the cool technical style of Daniel Bryan versus the hot headed brawling style of Jon Moxley. Bryan has the upper hand so far!
Corey Graves: Don’t let Jon Moxley hear you say that, Mauro or you might fall victim to his hot headedness!
Both men got to their feet and Bryan whipped Moxley into the corner, then hit him with a series of chops. Bryan then sat Moxley on the turnbuckle, setting him up for a suplex, but Moxley kicked Bryan away, then hit a double axe handle. Moxley stomped on Bryan several times, then pulled him to his feet and whipped him into the opposing corner. Moxley ran at Bryan, hitting a corner forearm smash, then took him down with a running bulldog. He dragged Bryan to his feet once more and hit a rolling release suplex, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... Bryan kicked out! Moxley grabbed Bryan and punched him against the mat several times, then pulled him to his feet and set him up for the Dirty Deeds. Bryan broke out of it and got behind Moxley once more, grabbing him by the arms and lifting him up for a bridging dragon suplex! The referee counted - 1... 2... Moxley kicked out just before the 3!
Mauro Ranallo: Great action in this match so far! The momentum is swinging back and forth!
As Moxley tried to get to his feet, Bryan hit him with the Yes Kicks, before knocking him down with a roundhouse kick to the head. Bryan then grabbed Moxley by the arm and went to apply the Yes Lock, but Moxley scrambled to the edge of the ring and grabbed the bottom rope! The referee ordered Bryan to take a step back, and as Bryan did so, Moxley used the ropes to pull himself up. Bryan ran at Moxley, but Moxley rebounded off the ropes, taking Bryan down with a pendulum lariat! Bryan looked dazed as he got to his feet, and Moxley grabbed him from behind, applying a crossface chickenwing!
Corey Graves: Just in case you needed any more proof that Jon Moxley is a lunatic... he’s trying to submit the submission specialist!
Bryan cried out on pain, and tried to get to the ropes, but Moxley pulled him back, keeping the ropes out of reach. As Moxley pulled Bryan back, he inadvertently loosened the hold, giving Bryan a chance to escape! Both men got to their feet and Bryan grabbed Moxley, hitting an overhead belly to belly suplex. As Moxley got back to his feet, Bryan charged towards him, hitting a running single leg high knee! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1... 2... 3!
Mauro Ranallo: It’s over! Daniel Bryan gets the victory!
Corey Graves: Tremendous effort by both these superstars... what a match!
Bryan celebrated as Warfare went to a commercial break.
Mauro Ranallo: This match might be an instant classic because we're about to see Tommy End take on Bobby Roode, and...
"Glorious!"
The crowd popped for Bobby Roode's catchy theme as the Glorious one proceeded to the ring. Once inside he waited for the arrival of Tommy End who made his imposing entrance and got in over the second rope. The bell rang and the men sized each other up. Roode did his "Glorious" taunt, and End took him down. The two traded holds on the mat, and fought each other up to their feet, but End took Roode right back down. Roode struggled but End kept him grounded. End applied the crucifix hold while Roode was standing, and his transitioned into a rollup for 1... 2...
Corey Graves: No! Bobby Roode kicks out.
End countered a move and controlled Roode by his arm, manhandling him a bit. They traded shots and Roode beat End down. Roode whipped End but Tommy countered. End sent Roode over the top to the floor. Tommy ran the ropes and put on the breaks as Bobby was coming back into the ring. Bobby hit a clothesline and some stomps, and took End to the corner and worked him over. Bobby sent him out to the floor. Roode followed after, and Tommy fought his way back in. Roode scooped Tommy up for a Death Valley Driver but Tommy blocked it. Roode delivered a kick, and tried a quick rollup 1..2..kickout!
Mauro Ranallo: Bobby Roode almost had Tommy End there!
Roode mounted Tommy and delivered hard strikes. Then he hit the superplex in the middle of the ring, but it was only good for a 2 count. Roode kept Tommy grounded and put End in the corner. Tommy kicked Roode, and got himself out of the corner. He charged out with a forearm. Roode went for a kick, but End caught his leg. Roode followed up with a spectacular forearm, decking him. Tommy kicked Roode and ran him over. End got him with more kicks and a knee to the head. Then he followed up with a splash in the corner and a springboard moonsault for a 2 count. They traded punches, and Roode went for the Glorious DDT, but End blocked it. Tommy kicked Roode in the midsection with a kick, and they traded punches. Roode took End to the ropes and whipped him off, hitting the Glorious DDT on the rebound. He went for the pin and got the 1...2...3!
Corey Graves: An instant classic indeed Mauro! What a match. Bobby Roode gets one over Tommy End, but what a performance from both of these men!
As Warfare returned Mandy Rose stood in the ring as “Lost in the Static” blasted on the sound system. The entire arena, along with Mandy Rose, turned and looked at the entrance ramp. Within seconds, Zahra stormed out of the back and made her way down the ramp at a quick pace.
Mauro Ranallo: Zahra walking to the ring with a purpose.
Corey Graves: I’m sure if you were attacked by three women last week, you’d be a little pissed off too, Mauro.
Mauro Ranallo: Three on one, with no help from EBWF’s own Golden Goose.
Corey Graves: Mandy Rose is not a goose, Mauro. What are you even talking about.
She dropped her championship midway down the ramp as her pace quickened. As she hit the ring, Mandy backed up slightly. Zahra slid into the ring and got to her feet instantly. Mandy yelled at her, but before the bell could even ring, Zahra shot at Mandy and took her down smoothly with a double leg. Zahra mounted Mandy Rose and rained down a few closed fist punches.
Mauro Ranallo: Zahra is not waiting for the bell.
Corey Graves: Mauro, I don’t know who to root for. My two favorite women are ripping each other to sheds.
The referee quickly got to the two women and attempted to pull Zahra off of Mandy. As Zahra was pulled away, she got a few kicks to the midsection. Mandy slid her way over to the turnbuckle and looked wide eyed at Zahra. The referee backed Zahra into the corner and warned her about the attack. Zahra glared at him for a brief moment before her attention turned back to Mandy. The referee then turned and walked over to Mandy Rose. He asked her inaudible if she was okay to stay. Zahra walked over and attempted to get at Zahra once again, but the referee put himself in the middle.
Mauro Ranallo: Zahra is rearing to go.
He yelled at Zahra to back up once again. As he walked Zahra back to the opposing corner, Mandy pulled herself up to her feet using the roles. She stayed in the corner as the referee warned Zahra once again. Finally, the referee check with both women before he signaled for the bell.
Mauro Ranallo: Here we go, Corey. The EBWF Women’s Championship is on the line.
Corey Graves: Can’t they not fight and just share the championship Mauro? I think the two of them would make great EBWF Co-Women’s Champion.
Mauro Ranallo: Well Corey, you ask Mr. Ikeda about that later, right now, these two women are ready to go.
As the bell rung out, Zahra charged the corner. Mandy used the ropes and pulled herself up and over Zahra. Zahra’s momentum forced her shoulder first into the steel of the turnbuckle. She grabbed at her shoulder as Mandy dropped down behind Zahra and pulled her back by her tights. Zahra fell backwards and her shoulders hit the mat. Mandy rolled her up in a school girl, pulling vigorously on Zahra’s tights exposing most of Zahra’s rear end to the world. The referee, without seeing the tights being pulled, dropped down to the mat.
Corey Graves: OH MY!!
Mauro Ranallo: The ref doesn’t see that Mandy, clearly, has the tights.
Corey Graves: She has more than the tights Mauro, she has all my dreams and wishes.
Referee: 1..
Mauro Ranallo: NO!! The champ kicks out.
Zahra quickly kicked out of the pin. Mandy backed up as Zahra got to a knee and fixed her tights. Zahra tilted her head as she looked at Mandy. Mandy screamed as Zahra lunged at her. Zahra chased Mandy to the other side of the ring where Mandy tied herself up in the ropes. Zahra grabbed for her only to be stopped by the referee. Zahra glared at him as she held onto Mandy’s hair.
Mandy Rose: GET HER OFF!!!
The referee warned her, which Zahra shook her head. She let go of Mandy’s hair and instantly grabbed at her left leg. Zahra, with a quick yank, pulled Mandy Rose completely free of the ring ropes. Mandy hopped on one leg as she pleaded with Zahra. Zahra smirked and quickly twisted Mandy’s knee as she fell to the mat. Mandy’s knee slammed against the canvas.
Mauro Ranallo: A unique way of delivering a dragon screw takedown, displayed by the champion here.
Corey Graves: Ouch.. That could have dislocated Mandy’s knee.
Zahra returned to a knee and smirked as Mandy screamed out in pain and grabbed at her knee. The referee checked on Mandy as Zahra rolled out of the ring. Zahra walked over to timekeeper area. Christy Hemme and the timekeeper both rose out of the chairs and moved as Zahra walked up to them. Zahra gave a smile before he lifted the steel chair that Christy was sitting on. Zahra folded it up and then turned around.
Mauro Ranallo: What is she doing with that? She’s just asking to get disqualified.
Corey Graves: No, Zahra, don’t do it. Don’t hurt the gorgeously golden, Mandy Rose.
She looked back into the ring directly at Mandy Rose. Zahra let the chair drop to her side as she walked. The chair scrapped against the floor behind her. Zahra lifted the chair and slid it into the ring with enough force to reach Mandy. Both the referee and Mandy’s attention turned to the chair as Zahra slid into the ring. The referee reached for the chair, but Zahra quickly reached the chair and placed her foot on the seat of the chair, the referee’s fingers pinched between the chair and that mat. Zahra shook her head as she bent down and picked up the chair. The referee returned to his feet as he demanded Zahra put the chair down. Mandy held her hands up to Zahra and pleaded with her. Zahra smirked once more as she bent down and grabbed Mandy’s left leg once more.
Mauro Ranallo: What is she doing?!
Corey Graves: I don’t know, but it doesn’t look good.
Mandy pleaded out once more, but Zahra shrugged her shoulders and slid Mandy’s leg between the back and seat of the chair. Zahra took another second before she twisted her legs with Mandy’s and fell to the mat. She flipped Mandy over and locked in her finisher with the steel chair.
Mauro Ranallo: UNLUCKY 13!!! NO!! She’s going to break her leg using that chair for extra damage.
Corey Graves: Zahra is relentless.
Mauro Ranallo: Someone needs to come out and stop this.
Mandy screamed out in pain as she clawed at the canva. Zahra pulled back on the hold while the referee pulled at Zahra’s arms in attempt to break the hold. When the demand for the release failed, the referee signaled for some help. Two more of EBWF official staff ran to the ring to aid. Finally, after a handful of seconds, Zahra released the hold and pushed Mandy away. The two referee quickly take the chair away from Mandy’s leg and pushed it away.
Mauro Ranallo: Finally, they get her off.
Corey Graves: The damage might have already been done.
Mauro Ranallo: Why Corey?! I ask you why?
Corey Graves: I don’t know, I guess she really thought Mandy should have helped her last week.
They checked on Mandy as she frantically grabbed at her knee. Zahra crossed her legs and sat in the middle of the and watched the two referee’s with Mandy. The third referee walked over to Christy and signaled the match was over and awarded the victory to Mandy Rose. After he relayed the message he walked over to Mandy and aided the two referees as the slid Mandy to the edge of the ring.
Christy Hemme: I have just been informed. The winner of this match, by disqualification, Mandy Rose.
Mauro Ranallo: This is outrageous. Mandy wins the match, but Zahra Schreiber is still the EBWF Women’s Champion.
Corey Graves: I don’t know what has gotten into Zahra, but I hope Mandy isn’t hurt. Should I go check on her Mauro?
With her knee pad removed, Mandy slid off the edge and put her weight on two of the referees who helped her backstage. “Lost in the Static” blasted back onto the sound system as Zahra remained seated in the center of the ring. The lights went out as the show went to break.
When Warfare came back from commercial Dalton Castle was already in the ring, fans started a "Miz is Awesome" chant in the time after Castle's theme ended. All of a sudden the crowd erupted when they heard.
"AWEEEEEEEEEEEEEESOMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEE"
"I CAME TO PLAY"
The Miz exploded from behind the curtain and the crowd brought the house down with cheers. Miz had the EBWF Championship on his shoulder as he confidently made his way down the ramp. The Miz entered the ring, and Dalton Castle was trying to go at him, but the referee got in the way of the early bum rush.
Christy Hemme: And his opponent from Cleveland, Ohio HE is the EBWF World Champion THEEEE MIZZZ!
Miz jumped back and forth getting himself pumped up for the match. The Miz handed the EBWF Title to the ref who gave it to the time keeper. The referee rang the bell and we were underway. The Miz and Castle locked up, Miz put Castle in a side headlock and Castle shoved him into the ropes, on the rebound Miz dropped Castle with a shoulder block. When Castle popped up, he swung wildly on a clothesline, but Miz ducked and dropped him with a backbreaker/neckbreaker. He went for an early cover and got a two count.
Mauro Ranallo: Impressive action from the Champ so far.
Corey Graves: Would have to agree partner.
Miz stalked Castle as he rose to his feet, Miz went for a suplex, but Castle went behind him and slammed Miz to the ground with a hard forearm smash Miz fell to his knees. Castle then ran the ropes and kicked The Miz right in the ribs which led the crowd to go "ohhhh" Castle went for a cover, but Miz kicked out at 2. Castle picked MIz up by his hair, and then pushed him into the ropes again, He kicked Miz in the ribs on the rebound and went for a DDT, but Miz countered with a back body drop. Castle landed on his feet and hit Miz with a drop kick when Miz turned around. Castle went for another cover and The Miz again kicked out at two.
Corey Graves: Not a bad series from Castle.
Mauro Ranallo: He definitely came to fight tonight!
Miz slowly made his way to his feet again and Castle went to whip Miz into the ropes, but Miz countered and sent Castle into the corner. Miz sprinted at him and connected on a straddle of the ropes clothesline which led to the crowd going nuts. Miz smiled as he confidently straddled the turnbuckle. He then got himself back into the ring and picked Castle up. Castle rested himself on the ropes to try and rest, but Miz went for a clothesline, and hit, sending Castle to the floor below. Miz turned to the crowd and raised his hands, and the crowd was going nuts. Another Miz is awesome chant broke out.
Corey Graves: They love their champ!
Mauro Ranallo: He's the new people's champ, you know that Corey!
Miz went for a baseball slide drop kick, but Castle moved and then sent Miz head first into the barricade. He then picked Miz up by the head and rolled him back into the ring. Miz slowly made his way to his feet, and Castle whipped Miz into the ropes, and went for the Bangarant, but Miz fell to the back of Castle and hit the Skull Crushing Finale, but when Miz fell to the back of Castle he also bumped into the ref and knocked him to the ground. Miz checked on the ref who was out on the ground in the ring. Miz looked frustrated.
Corey Graves: Unfortunate break for The Miz this thing would be..
Mauro Ranallo: LOOK OUT!
Kenny Omega had come out of the crowd to loud boo's. Miz had his back turned and was trying to figure out his next move. When he rose to his feet he turned around, and Kenny Omega hit him with a One Winged Angel. The crowd was booing as Omega put Castle on top of the Miz and then shook the referee to wake him up. The ref slowly counted.. ONE.. TWO.. THREE.. and the bell rang.
Corey Graves: Castle gets the win over the EBWF Champion! He stole this one!
Mauro Ranallo. I don't think Omega is done.
The bell rang and Castle rolled out of the ring and back up the ramp. Omega came back into the ring and stalked The Miz. The bell rang again and Omega didn't care. He brought Miz back to his feet and Miz slumped against the turnbuckle. Omega charged at him, but much to the delight of the crowd, Miz managed to move out of the way and Omega caught nothing but turnbuckle. He held his head, but then managed to have his adrenaline help him hook Omega and DRILL HIM with a Skull Crushing Finale. The crowd was going crazy! Miz looked extremely intense as "I Came To Play" was heard on the loud speaker. Miz was handed his belt and started to celebrate to his music, with the crowd cheering loudly!
Corey Graves: Miz! He turned it around on Omega! What a moment for the new champion!
Mauro Ranallo: This night definitely didn't go the way Omega saw it in his head!
Miz continued to celebrate before exiting the ring. Omega slowly made his way to one knee, and Miz talked inaudible trash to Omega, who looked extremely upset and uncomfortable. Miz smirked at Omega as he pointed to his championship.
Corey Graves: I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of things between these two.
Mauro Ranallo: No doubt about that! We will see you next week.. goodnight folks.
Warfare faded off the air with a shot of The Miz holding the belt high for the fans!
