As reported here on ProWrestlingSmarks we have contacted Jason Reso and landed ourselves an interview with Captain Charisma. Unfortunately, we couldn't record it due to contractual conflicts. Never the less, we resorted to good ol' fashioned writing and did the interview either way, hope you enjoy the read, and here it is, all questions asked by our lead reporter David Moore.

David Moore: Welcome, Jason, first of all it's great to have you here, and let me get right to the chase on this one...Why EBWF, and not WWE or even TNA again?

Jason Reso: Well, David... That's without a doubt the question I get asked the most these days, and apparently I haven't done a good enough job at answering (chuckles) Simply put, I needed a fresh start... Back in WWE, I felt like I wasn't being given the opportunities I deserved, I don't know if that was on Brian [Gewirtz] or Vince [McMahon]'s part but I just didn't feel like I was welcome there, and as far as TNA goes, well... let's just say, you'd have to be pretty stupid to jump on the Titanic after it had hit the Iceberg.

DM: Strong words... So, I'm sensing you don't get along with Dixie Carter or Vince McMahon then...

JR: Not at all, it was strictly business when it concerns to my leaving WWE, Vince didn't believe in my talents, so I went where I was appreciated. In TNA's case, I just didn't feel like it would be a good decision business-wise.

DM: Interesting... Recently on twitter, you criticized Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash for still wrestling these days, despite their age, were there any repercussions for said words?

JR: Actually, I did get some dirty looks backstage after that, but some of the younger guys on the roster backed up what I said. To clarify, I stand by what I said about Terry Bollea, but I'd like to retract my statements on Kevin. Unlike Bollea, Kevin can still draw money, and can put on a great match at times.

DM: Can we get details on your contract status with EBWF?

JR: That's a bit too on the inside, but I'll tell you, it's satisfactory and it's a 2-year deal.

DM: Alrighty, well, that's about all the fans wanted us to ask. Any final words?

JR: Yes, catch SummerSlam on Sunday, August 26th live from the Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri as "The Instant Classic" takes on Daniel Bryan!
