DC 9.3: The Direct Approach

The wrestling world was once again buzzing after the words and actions of The Party Peacock, announcing his return to action, declaring his intentions to hold the Gateway Title through the fall before cashing in, and dramatically appearing to prevent Tommaso Ciampa from escaping his chain match.

It was this final development that placed Dalton Castle once again on a collision course with a man he faced at the beginning of his current EBWF run, a man uniquely gifted in the art of incapacitating opponents and possessed of a messiah complex.

Ciampa had delivered his latest threats in the chilling monotone befitting a "Psycho Killer," redirecting his animus of Braun Strowman towards perhaps his polar opposite in Dalty Double Slammy. The words could send shivers down the spine of a lesser competitor, but Dalton Castle is here now, standing alongside his familiar interview segment foil, Renee Young.

Renee asks if Dalton has any response to the threats made his way.

Dalton takes a deep breath.

He leans into the microphone.

He looks directly into the camera.








"Fuck you, Tommy."





He walks away, confident in the knowledge that sometimes it's best to just be direct.
