Redemption

Marty Scurll is walking down the streets of Miami after last weeks show. As he walks some people notice him but when they ask for a picture all he does is flip them off. He finally reaches a park and sits down on a secluded bench. His phone makes a notification sound from his pocket. As he pulls it out and opens it he sees that it is an e-mail titled “Warfare Card 09/17/2018”. He opens it up and sees the words “Marty Scurll vs. Nick Aldis”.
Scurll: What the fuck? Nick fucking Aldis? Are you kidding me?
Marty puts his phone away and puts his hands over his head and lets out a guttural scream.
Scurll: Ahhhhhh!!!
Marty begins pacing around the bench area before kicking over a nearby trash can.
Scurll: I should be facing off against the best of the EBWF. Jimmy Havoc, The Miz, Tommy End. They should be my opponents. Instead, I have to beg to be booked. #BookMarty.
Marty tries to calm himself down but he gets enraged again and starts throwing the trash can around.
Scurll: I am sick and tired of being treated like a joke. Yah I get it, I’m short. If I was a sports entertainer I’d be relegated to pre shows and 205 live on the network. At least there I would get booked!
Marty finally composes himself and sits back down on the bench. Trash is spread all around him.
Scurll: Let me let you all in on a little secret. Before I came to the EBWF I was offered a very lucrative contract to be one of Vince’s boys. I turned them down and came here. How stupid am I?
The camera zooms in on Scurlls face.
Scurll: I have been mistreated and mismanaged. Undervalued and hardly present. This week, I’m going to show the EBWF just exactly who I am. I am going to snap the fingers of Nick Aldis. I am going to beat him down and I’m not going to stop until he’s left lying down on the mat for the pin.
The camera zooms out.
Scurll: Nick Aldis is a joke. A fucking pathetic piece of shit. I cannot wait to wipe the floor with his face. I can wrestle circles around him and the EBWF will know who Marty Scurll is.
Marty stands up and begins walking away. He pauses, and turns back to the camera.
Scurll: One last thing. The past couple weeks we have seen our champion Jimmy Havoc torn apart, physically and emotionally. Well I want to offer my two cents on these actions. Legion are a bunch of cowards. I dare them to try and do the same thing when the numbers are even. I have Jimmy’s back in this fight if he calls. I’ll be waiting.
