The scene fades in to a dimly lit corridor, a figure is standing at the end of the hall. The camera slowly moves closer to the figure. On the wall are pictures of different matches from Marty Scurll’s career. The camera finally reaches the end of the hallway. It takes a second to focus on the figure before its revealed as Marty Scurll.

Scurll: Last week the world witnessed the beginning of my redemption.

Marty starts walking back down the corridor.

Scurll: No longer will I be made a joke of. Last week I broke the fingers of Nick Aldis and then submitted him in the middle of the ring. I proved that the Villain is the better man.

As Marty is walking he passes by a picture of him submitting Aldis. He pauses and then laughs before continuing down the corridor. He finally stops at a blank picture frame.

Scurll: This week my path of redemption takes me through Cody Rhodes. And once again, I’m underwhelmed by my opponent.

Marty takes the blank picture frame off the wall and stares into it.

Scurll: I’ve begun to notice that I’ve become a gatekeeper of sorts here in the EBWF. Whenever someone is signed they’re booked to fight me. I for one am sick and tired of being in this role. Last week it was Aldis, this week it’s Cody.

Marty continues to look at the blank picture frame. He turns it over and smashes it over his knee.

Scurll: Are you fucking kidding me? Cody Rhodes is a joke, a reject, and a loser. I should be wrestling the top talent of the EBWF.

Marty walks down the hallway and begins throwing all of the pictures off of the wall.

Scurll: I get it. I do. I’m smaller than most other wrestlers. I’m a junior heavyweight. All of that is bullshit. I am ruthless, I’m willing to do anything to win in the ring and I’m going to show that tonight when I break Cody’s fingers and leave him laying in the middle of the ring.

The camera fades to black, ending the segment.
