OOC - Not feeling so well the past few days. I hope this makes sense because I'm not even sure anymore. Time for bed.
---------------
The scene opened up on a dark cloudy night, a dark SUV turned onto a small dirt road. The gravel could be heard moving under the tires from the weight of the vehicle. The SUV slowly braked and came to a complete stop. The headlights were shining towards the camera so it was hard to make out just who it was. A door opened up and slammed shut a few seconds later. A slender shadowy figure slowly walked towards the camera in a slow, almost seductive manner. The feminine figure slowly began to come to form for the camera, revealing it to be EBWF’s very own current Women’s Champion... Zahra Schreiber.
Zahra: So I hear a certain... “blissed” off little piggy wants to call out the big bad wolf, huh?
Zahra let an evil chuckle escape from between her lips and shook her head. The small movement caused her raven black hair to sway back and forth behind her slender yet shapely form.
Zahra: Ohhhh Alexa... It only shows what a fool you truly are. Your ignorance is... Well... baffling. I suppose it’s true in your case when they say... Ignorance is BLISS.
It’s clear as day that you are still living in a world of fantasy. You truly believe that you are something special when that couldn’t be further from the truth. You’ve never been anything spectacular, you’ve never done anything interesting. You are nothing. You’re just another blank face marching in the human filth parade. A Goddess?
Zahra sneered at this.
Zahra: What a joke! Gods and Goddesses are for the weak minded. Nothing more than a fairy tale to give hope to the hopeless. To provide entertaining stories to the simple minded who cannot face the cold, hard truth. There is no savior - no single higher power. There is no reuniting with lost loved ones in the afterlife... There is only death and despair.
Some of Zahra’s waist length black hair got in her face. She slowly brushed her hair back behind her ear.
Zahra: After our little encounter in the ring on Warfare... When I looked straight in your eyes... I saw it. I saw that little glimmer of hope in your eye that you really have this match won before it has even started. You truly have yourself convinced that you are going to be the next Champion, don’t you? Too bad I won’t be able to see that glimmer of hope fade from your eyes when I stomp in the back of your fuckin’ skull with my wrestling boot!
Zahra reached into a small bag she wore at her side, retrieving her Queen of the Mountain crown. It glimmered under the occasional moonlight that shone down through random breaks in the cloud cover. Zahra slowly placed the crown on her head and looked back to the camera, inhaling deeply.
Zahra: This ought’ta look a bit familiar, yeah? I know Alexa had her little heart set on being crowned the first ever Queen of the Mountain after I decimated her and Liv’s shot at becoming the Queen of the Ring. She thought that Summerslam would be her big moment, to FINALLY gain the title for the second time, to gain the crown and become the self proclaimed... and ever so tacky.. “Queen Goddess”...
Zahra chuckled once more and adjusted her weight.
Zahra: So Alexa... After failing time and time again... do you still really believe that you have what it takes to beat me? You’ve never managed a feat quite like that before... Have you, darling? Not at Wrestlemania... not at Summerslam. And It won’t happen at Fanniversary either.
You’ve been close... I give you that much... But we all know it’s just not enough. When you give it your all, you still fall short of greatness. It’s like your stuck in a cycle of failure that never ends... It just keeps going and going with no real purpose. What a shame... You’ve been in the title picture constantly all year long and yet you remain empty handed. You’ve only managed to waste your time and energy on pursuing something that has eluded you for a very long time... and will only continue to do so for quite some time to come.
How do I know this, you may ask?
Zahra flashed another smile, her lips curling back to reveal her perfect white teeth.
Zahra: I know this... because of your greed. It holds you back and you can’t even see it. That is your problem but you refuse to listen. You only focus on the materialistic things in this world and tune out everything else in life.
A crown... A phony coronation you didn’t deserve in the first place... A championship... All of these things are completely meaningless. These things may give you your desired fifteen minutes of fame... But they do not make a genuine impact. Nothing compared to what I have done in EBWF since my return earlier this year.
I am at the top of this division. I have a purpose... A mission... And a family in LEGION. What do you have, Alexa? You have no one. You have no one to watch your back... to protect you. You are alone because you have no loyalty to anyone or anything. You’re selfish. You never put anyone or anything before yourself. YOU are the epitome of what is wrong with this world. It is people like you, Alexa, that spread greed and corruption like an aggressive cancer! YOU are the type of people we are trying to rid this planet of!
Zahra now gritted her teeth together as she began to speak somewhat angrily. She ripped the crown off her own head, yanking some of her own hair in the process but she didn’t react one bit to it. Zahra gripped the crown in her hand and held it up to the camera angrily. A breeze was coming through and blew her hair wildly behind her. Her eyes were now dark and unforgiving.
Zahra: I detest everything about you, Alexa. I loathe all the things you love. I would destroy it all without a second thought. This crown you loved so much? MEANINGLESS!!
Zahra threw the crown down on the gravel road. She stomped on it with all her weight, the crown cracking into several pieces under her boot. Zahra pulled her foot back and laughed as the camera showed the damage. The camera panned back up to filming waist level and up once more.
Zahra: Next I am going to shatter your spine just like I did that crown! Then it’ll be your career left in shambles, and maybe even the title you love so much. Maybe once I’m finished with you, I will break the title you’ve wanted for so long... right in front of YOU!
I should have finished you off the last two times we were in the ring together. You’re just a thorn in my side and I’m sick of your shit. You’ve been a huge pain in the ass and it’s time to take you out once and for all. I’m talking career ending!
Zahra pounded her fist into her hand to add emphasis.
Zahra: Feign all the confidence in the world, Alexa, but it won’t matter come Sunday at Fanniversary. I am not meant to lose the title, and you are not meant to beat me. You can believe anything you like, but you cannot change what is meant to be.
The dark SUV honked it’s horn to gain Zahra’s attention.
Zahra: I will be seeing you soon, Alexa... This bad wolf is going to huff and puff and blow your shit into oblivion!
Zahra lets out a maniacal laugh and turned on the heel of her boat. The camera focused down at the broken crown laying on the dirt road, visible because of the headlights. A car door was heard opening and closing and the vehicle slowly backed down the road and the camera faded to black.
