OOC: A lot going on this week but just throwing this out so the numbers aren't off for the mini tourney (141.66%)

Tomasso Ciampa is sat on the floor in the backstage area with his back against thewall wall. He is dressed for his upcoming match. Ciampa's full attention is on adjusting the tape on his hand. It isn't clear if he knows he is being filmed.

Ciampa: The course is set, the destination - Christmas Eve of Destruction. The only variable, who Ciampa defeats to fulfill this part of his destiny. Holly? Scurll? Both men have what it takes to call themselves Breakout champion. One is trying to prove to everyone that he's still got fight probably will to his last breath. You can't argue against someone like that. Not really. Scurll? He's found his feet after being a bottom feeder. That's about the nicest thing you'll hear me say about him. We will see. Holly or Scurll, it makes no odds to me. The result will be the same.

Ciampa finishes the adjustments on his tape and stands though he is in the same daze and is now seeming to stare off into the distance.

Ciampa: Omega on the other hand? Yeah, not gonna happen. I ain't seeing him in the finals. Kenny Omega, really? The guy who started the year with a bang, became the face of the company for a hot minute and then blew it. Big whoop. Kenny Omega's stock is plummeting so fast that hes threatening to make an impact of the very worst kind. Splat . I am so grateful for the round robin to crown me champion. See, I've been accused of being directionless for the last few weeks. I can't deny it. Guilty as charged. But, that changes now. Tomasso Ciampa is on a collision course with the breakout title. Omega. Move out of the way.

Tomasso Ciampa smirks before walking towards the entrance curtain and pushing his way through. Through the curtain you can just about make out Psycho Killer by Talking Heads playing as Chrissy Hemme makes Ciampa's introduction.
