As the cameras came up backstage, it picked up footage of Alexa Bliss as she walked backstage. With a sour look on her face, and her body bandaged from her battle a few weeks ago at Christmas Eve of Destruction. Before Alexa could get where she wanted to go, Renee Young walked up with a microphone in hand. Alexa looked up as Renee stopped in front of her and raised the microphone.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Renee Young: ”Alexa, do you have a moment?”
Without a word from Alexa, Renee continued.
Renee Young: ”A few weeks ago, you failed once again to capture the EBWF Women’s Championship.. But once again, not without its controversy. What are you opinions of Tommy End come out and not only sacrificing himself when he pushed Zahra off the table at ringside, but also toppled the ladder and sent both you and Zahra through four tables?”
Alexa glared at Renee for a few seconds. Renee tilted her microphone to Alexa, but then was about to move it away when Alexa didn’t speak for a few moments, but finally Alexa answered Renee.
Alexa Bliss: ”My opinions.. You want to know my opinions about what happened at Christmas Eve of Destruction?”
Renee nodded her head as she kept the microphone in front of Alexa Bliss.
Alexa Bliss: ”You said it best yourself. I failed.. But not without controversy, yet again. Which I don’t know why anyone would expect anything else with Zahra.. She lives up to the monicure, “Queen of Controversy”, doesn’t she? No matter what, the controversy always follows her in every single match.. Which is something you think that Angelina Love would be trying to fix, don’t you think?”
Alexa looked at who Renee, who attempted to pull the microphone away, but Alexa quickly just continued to speak.
Alexa Bliss: ”No, instead Angelina stays in the back and watches as the best woman on her roster, is pushed off a ladder by a Male Superstar, who should have never been out there.. I know that Legion never travels alone, but I have earned every championship shot that I have gotten. And with each one, it’s suppose to be Zahra and me.. That’s it. But every time, whether it’s Tommy End, Liv Morgan, or Angelina herself... Someone always manages to get in the way and cost me my championship. Not Zahra.. No she, is always the one that gets the better end of the things. And I’m tired of it. I’m tired of Angelina saying she’s in charge around here, but she does nothing to make sure that the EBWF Women’s Championship lives up to the honor is deserves, but instead, she just lets Zahra walk around here and do everything to keep her championship.”
Renee Young: ”Are you going to go after the EBWF Women’s Championship again?”
Alexa Bliss: ”I don’t expect Angelina to make it that easy for me.. I know that I’m going to have to work for it, which won’t be hard. Looking around at this division, I don’t have many challengers anymore. Especially come this years Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Which, it looks like if I want another shot, I’m going to have to win the rumble, for a third time.”
Alexa held up three fingers and gave a cocky smirk.
Renee Young: ”But before the Royal Rumble, tonight you’ve got your hands full with Nikki Cross.”
Alexa Bliss: ”Seriously? You think Nikki Cross is a handful? Nikki is nothing.. Did you not hear what I just said?”
Renee Young: ”What do you mean?”
Alexa Bliss: ”This Women’s Roster is pathetic.. Nikki Cross, Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus, Mandy Rose, Liv Morgan.. Do you really think that any of these women can stand up against me? I’ve beaten every single one of them.. I’ve beaten a few of them at once.”
She shook her head as she continued.
Alexa Bliss: ”Everyone wants to think that I’ve been in the main event of the Women’s Division all year long because there’s no one else in the division.. But honestly, we have the women.. It’s just none of them, including the veterans, can do what I do in that ring. Now I know that I’ve been coming out empty handed in all the championship shots I’ve gotten, but at least I’ve been in the title matches. At least I earn the shots at the EBWF Women’s Championship. And I earned those shots by beating every single woman on this roster. And that’s not going to stop tonight.”
Renee Young: ”So then you’re not worried about Nikki at all?”
Alexa Bliss: ”There’s no need to be worried about Nikki Cross. Sure, she’s crazy and not all there.. Seriously, there’s not even enough brain cells in head of hers to even put together a complete thought. That’s why I’m not afraid of Nikki Cross. She’s not going to come out to that ring knowing what she’s going to do, and that’s will always be her downfall. If Nikki wanted to win more around here, then she would begin to plan some things out, like I do.”
Alexa took another quick pause before she continued.
Alexa Bliss: ”I plan out each and every match, and I plan it out to win. Which I would do if everything would play out how it is suppose to. However, every match has to have someone come out and get in the way of my plans. If you play back each match, you will see that right before someone got in the way.. Before someone stuck their nose in my business.. I was on the verge of winning. Each and every one of those matches, I was just about to win. I was just moments away from winning when the Tommy Ends and the Liv Morgans of the world came out of the woodworks and cost me everything.”
Renee Young: ”Tonight you shouldn’t have those problems..”
Alexa Bliss: ”You’d think so, but unfortunately, I don’t have much faith in matches being fair around here. Which is why from this moment forward, I’m going to keep one eye on the ring, and the other eyes all around me. I know that there is someone out there that will try to cost me my match.. Even if they’re not going get involved in a certain match, I know that there’s a possibility. And where’s there a will, there will always be a way..”
Renee Young: ”You don’t think that’s a little paranoid?”
Alexa Bliss: ”Paranoid? Or just prepared.. I figured if I’m ready every night, then I’m not going to get caught off guard. Which once again, starts tonight with Nikki. I don’t know who could possibly get involved, but I’ll be ready in case anyone decides to.”
Alexa looked proud in that comment.
Renee Young: ”Well, good luck out there.”
Alexa Bliss: ”I don’t need luck.. I’m Alexa Bliss. I’m the “Goddess of EBWF”. There’s no woman who can beat me.”
Renee pulled her microphone to herself and smiled at Alexa. She stepped to the side as Alexa walked past her.
