Mauro Ranallo: Good evening and welcome to EBWF Warfare! Tonight, we are live from the Wells Fargo Center in Des Moines, Iowa!
Corey Graves: We are kicking things off tonight with women's action as Summer Rae takes on Winter!
Mauro Ranallo: It's the battle of hot v cold... Summer versus Winter!
“Rush of Power” hit and Summer Rae came out to the ring to a mixed reaction from the crowd. "Being Evil Has a Price" by Heavy Young Heathens hit and Winter came out next. When both women were in the ring, the referee called for the bell and the two women locked up. Summer took Winter down with a snapmare, then hit a leg drop and went for the pinfall attempt. The referee counted – 1... 2... kickout!
Corey Graves: Summer Rae trying to beat Winter in record time!
Summer pulled Winter to her feet and whipped her into the corner, then applied a foot choke. Winter fought out of it and shoved Summer away, then climbed the turnbuckle and hit a missile dropkick. Both women got to their feet, and Winter went for the northern lights suplex... but Summer blocked it, and countered with a DDT!
Mauro Ranallo: Great counter by Summer Rae!
Summer pulled Winter to her feet, and hit her with the Summer Crush! She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
As Warfare returned from a commercial break, "Top One Percent" hit and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as EC3 made his way to the ring.
Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Up next, EC3 is in action as he takes on the EBWF Breakout Champion, Hardcore Holly!
When EC3 was in the ring, "How Do You Like Me Now" hit and the crowd booed as Hardcore Holly stepped out onto the stage. Holly looked around the crowd, glaring, held up his title, then walked down the ramp. Upon entering the ring, Holly handed his title to the referee, and immediately began pummelling EC3 with a series of punches! The referee abruptly called for the bell.
Corey Graves: An aggressive start as always by Hardcore Holly!
Holly dragged EC3 to the corner and slammed his head off the turnbuckle, then sat him on the top rope, setting him up for a superplex. EC3 fought back, kicking Holly away then hitting him with a flying clothesline. As Holly got to his feet, EC3 hit him with a front facelock STO, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout! EC3 pulled Holly to his feet and whipped him against the ropes, then went for a clothesline. Holly ducked out of the way, then hit EC3 with a dropkick. Both men got to their feet and Holly hit a pumphandle slam, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout!
Mauro Ranallo: Hardcore Holly with a near fall!
Holly stomped on EC3 several times, then pulled him to his feet and whipped him into the corner. Holly charged towards EC3, going for a forearm smash, but EC3 ducked out of the way, causing Holly to collide with the turnbuckles. As Holly staggered backwards, EC3 grabbed him from behind, hitting a belly-to-back suplex. He then went to the top rope, and hit an elbow drop! EC3 hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... kickout! EC3 got to his feet, and signalled for the One Percent!
Corey Graves: EC3 looking to put Hardcore Holly away here...
EC3 pulled Hardcore Holly to his feet and lifted him over his shoulders, setting him up for the One Percent... but Holly broke free, and hit a DDT! EC3 looked dazed as he got to his feet, and Holly hit a sitout suplex slam, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... EC3 kicked out! Holly looked frustrated, and he stomped on EC3 several times, then pulled him to his feet and hit the Alabama Slam! He hooked the leg once more and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Mauro Ranallo: It's over! Hardcore Holly gets the victory!
Corey Graves: An impressive performance from the veteran superstar, it has to be said!
Mauro Ranallo: Up next, more women's action as Alexa Bliss takes on Nikki Cross!
"Glasgow Cross" his the PA and the crowd gave a mixed reaction to Nikki as she came out onto the stage.
Corey Graves: It's playtime!
Mauro Ranallo: This is sure to be an amazing match, Corey.
Once Nikki was in the ring, "Crushed" hit and Alexa Bliss was to the ring next.
Corey Graves: I can't wait to see how this one turns out Mauro!
Alexa was quick to enter the ring, but she told the referee to control Nikki. That made the Scottish woman laugh manically and the bell rang. They locked up and Cross pushed Alexa to the ropes. She propelled off. and kicked Nikki in the midsection. Cross was unaffected and hit a snapmare, combining it with a kick to the face. She pinned Alexa.

Alexa kicked out, but as she got to her feet, Nikki got her with the dropkick into the corner. Cross charged, standing over her, but Alexa kicked her in the head again. Nikki toppled over, and Alexa stood on Nikki's hair and pulled her arms back at an odd angle. Nikki was screaming.
Corey Graves: How is Alexa beating Nikki in a battle of strength?
Nikki dropped Alexa face first on the mat. Alexa pulled herself up on the middle rope, and started to climb to the top turnbuckle. Nikki caught her with a kick, and Alexa landed with a thud on the outside. Nikki tossed Alexa back in and came off through the middle rope, catching her with a tackle. Nikki pinned her.

Mauro Ranallo: Another kickout from Alexa!
Alexa tried to bail, but Nikki tossed her back in. Nikki turned right into a DDT. Alexa moved quickly to the top rope.
Mauro Ranallo: Could it be?
Alexa hit the rounding moonsault!
Corey Graves: Twisted Bliss.
Alexa hooked the leg, and the referee made the count.

3!
"Crushed" hit the PA as the referee raised Alexa's hand in victory.
Mauro Ranallo: Alexa Bliss just defeated Nikki Cross. Will the Goddess rise again in 2019?
EBWF returned from commercial, and the crowd cheered as the camera panned their faces and signs.
Mauro Ranallo: We're about to witness the first main event of 2019!
"Moments" by Sevendust hit and the EBWF Gateway Champion came to the ramp to applause from the crowd.
Corey Graves: Do you think we'll see Aiden English cash in the Gateway Championship for a shot at the World Championship at the Royal Rumble?
Mauro Ranallo: The world title picture is certainly fuzzy right now with Jimmy Havoc out on injury. The Miz currently sits atop the EBWF mountain all alone.
Awwweeessssome!
"I Came to Play" hit and the Miz came to the stage, dressed in his sleeveless trench coat, which he unzipped to reveal the EBWF World Championship!
Corey Graves: Well Miz is going to get a taste of what facing Aiden English would be like, here tonight.
Once both men were in the ring, and their respective titles were safely tucked away with the time keeper, the bell rang. Aiden attempted a few rollups quickly. Miz avoided an early Director's Cut attempt, and rolled to the ropes. Aiden hovered over him, but Miz got the knee up. Miz moved quickly to his feet, but Aiden got the backslide pinfall.

Kickout!
Corey Graves: Going to take more than that to defeat the champion.
Aiden dropped an elbow before Corey could get up. Aiden helped Miz to his feet, but Miz dumped him to the outside. Miz attempted a dropkick through the ropes, but Aiden moved out of the way and slid back into the ring. Miz followed after, and Aiden charged at him with right hands, backing him into the corner. Miz hit the inverted DDT and a neck breaker combo. He catapulted him into the second rope. Miz didn't let up, stomping Aiden into the corner.
Corey Graves: Looks like Miz is ready to pull out some of the classics.
Miz hit the running dropkick in the corner, and followed it up with the corner clothesline. Miz went up to the top rope, but Aiden countered, bringing him to the matt again. Miz splashed the corner, but missed!
Mauro Ranallo: Careful Miz!
Aiden bounced Miz off the corner repeatedly. Aiden hit his own corner clothesline. He hit a corner clothesline and running bulldog. He dropped an elbow on the neck of Miz. He went to the top and dropped a flying elbow on Miz. He pinned him.
Corey Graves: English might have it!

Kickout!
Once on his feet, Miz whipped him into the corner, but Aiden got his elbow up in the corner and caught Miz with both boots. Aiden charged at Miz, but Miz reversed and whipped him head first into the second turnbuckle. Miz hit some chest kicks, causing English to fall out. Miz turned to pander to the crowd, and Aiden hit him with the Director's Cut. Miz rolled under the bottom rope to avoid the pinfall!
Mauro Ranallo: What a veteran! Look at the ring awareness from Miz.
Miz dropped Aiden jaw fist off the top rope, which allowed him to hit the Skull Crushing Finale! Miz hooked the leg!

Corey Graves: The first main event of 2019 belongs to the champion!
Mauro Ranallo: What a win from the Miz. How long can he hold the World Championship this year!
Corey Graves: You have to wonder if Aiden will be hesitant to cash in now.
Miz was given the world championship and his hand was raised in victory as Warfare went off the air.
