Monday 1/21/19 Minutes after Warfare went off air

The camera opens up on the half opened door to Wes Ikeda’s office. Chavo Guerrero Jr is standing in the door blocking the inside of the room from view. He’s got his hand on the door knob but is turned back toward the inside of the room.
Chavo Guerrero: I promise you won’t regret this! I think you’re going to love the show I put on for you this weekend. In fact, I think after the Royal Rumble you’re going to want to keep me on around here full time! Maybe then we can renegotiate a contract that lets me continue working for smaller companies around the world and Netflix.
Chavo pushed the door open and left the room, closing the door firmly behind him. He pushed past the camera with a slight nod and started walking down the hall. He only made it a handful of steps before Renee Young stepped in frame with a microphone in hand. He paused, nodded and turned to face the camera next to her.
Renee Young: The crew following you said you’ve been in a meeting with Wes Ikeda for the last twenty minutes of Warfare. Care to tell us what went on in there?
Chavo Guerrero: Yeah, I don’t think it’s a big secret! Wes and I just penned a single night deal for me to compete in the EBWF Royal Rumble match this weekend!
Renee Young: Any plans to stick around after Royal Rumble? Say, if you win?
Chavo Guerrero: If I win the match then Wes and I will have to get back together and pen a new deal for Wrestlemania. But, we did talk about several different contracts some with longer terms, more dates. The issue is that I’m at a point in my career where I have a lot of different commitments I need to keep up with! I do a lot of shows with a lot of different companies and I had a wildly popular and successful spot on the HIT Netflix show GLOW! I’m in demand and at the end of our conversation we came to an impasse on how to work around my already scheduled dates without just doing a one time deal.
Renee Young: It seems like it would be in the best interest of the EBWF to lock you down for both the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania just to be safe. That way if you win this match you can’t just run up the numbers and force Wes into a wildly expensive contract for Mania weekend!
Chavo Guerrero: Yes. You’re right. It would be in the best interest of the EBWF to do that but Wes didn’t do that. The reason Wes didn’t do that is blatantly obvious. He knows what I know and knowing it makes Mania weekend less of a threat. Let me be clear, my goal isn’t to become the World Champion. I’m going into the Royal Rumble to put an end to Elias Samson’s hopes at becoming the Champion!
Renee Young: What if taking away Elias’s chances require you to win though.
Chavo started laughing. After a few seconds he doubled over, still laughing and held up a finger to the camera. He took in a deep breath as he stood back up. He started to talk but broke out into laughter again. He waved his hand and shook the laughter away.
Chavo Guerrero: Don’t you think that’s a long shot Renee? I know you’ve seen the list of names taking part in this contest. With me in the ring there are twenty-nine wrestlers better than Elias Samson in the match! Mysterio, Sydal, Rush, EC3, Holly, Kanellis, Cole and hell even Grado! Every one of them are more likely to win the Royal Rumble than Elias Samson!
Renee Young: So, if you eliminate Elias or someone else eliminates him are you just going to climb out of the ring and walk away from the EBWF?
Chavo Guerrero: No. I’m going to put on one hell of a show! I’m going to make sure the EBWF Universe remembers that the Guerreros ARE Lucha! We are the First Family of Wrestling!
Renee Young: If you win, do you think you can switch focus to the World Championship?
Chavo titled his head from side to side. He rolled over the question both physically and mentally.
Chavo Guerrero: I’m sure I could switch gears but I’m here for Elias. He put himself in the crosshairs of the entire Guerrero Family and I’m going to make sure justice is served. I’m here to defend the honor of my cousin Raquel and her husband Aiden. But, also the honor of Eddie, Vickie, Gory and my father Chavo Guerrero Senior! I’m here to defend the honor of my ENTIRE family and there will be blood! If Elias thought a couple of guitars to the head were the end of his woes, he has another thing coming! If ANYONE tries to stop me from getting to Elias Samson they have another things coming too! Renee, I don’t plan on winning the Rumble but if that’s what it takes then there are twenty-eight wrestlers who are just collateral damage waiting to happen!
Renee Young: The EBWF Universe is luck…
Chavo cut Renee off by announcing the arrival of Raquel and hugging her. She stepped into shot in between Renee and Chavo.
Renee Young: We were just talking about Chavo’s entrance into the 2019 EBWF Men’s Royal Rumble and the issues between your family and Elias Samson. Do you care to add anything to the conversation?
Raquel Diaz: No. And, Renee I would appreciate if you would direct all of your questions for my client and cousin toward me. These matters are very serious and personal ones which don’t involve you or anyone else in the EBWF Universe. Come on primo, we’re out of here.
Renee Young: I apologize but I think the Universe would like to know why you weren’t in the contract negotiations with your client.
Raquel turned to Renee and got close to her. In an attempt to be intimidating Raquel inched closer and closer to her face.
Raquel Diaz: If the Universe wants to know why I wasn’t in contract negotiations with Chavo then they’ll need to tune into the EBWF website, facebook, twitter or youtube this Friday at 4pm. They’ll have answers then and there and not a moment sooner.
Raquel motioned to Chavo and the two continued off in the direction he was originally headed. Renee was left standing there confused with a microphone in her hand as the shot faded out.

The live video opened up on Chavo Guerrero sitting on a bench doing bicep curls with his left arm. After a few reps Chavo let the weight fall to the floor and smiled at the camera.
Chavo Guerrero: Are we live?
Raquel Diaz: You know it!
Chavo Guerrero: Hey fans and followers! In the EBWF the Guerrero legacy has been under attack and I’m here to make sure that attack ends! I’m here to make sure that Elias Samson pays for his words and actions toward my cousin and Aiden. I’m here to make sure that everyone knows that the name Guerrero is sacromount!
Raquel Diaz: It’s sacrosanct.
Chavo Guerrero: What?
Raquel Diaz: The word you were looking for was sacrosanct not sacromount.
Chavo Guerrero: Oh, thanks! I’m here to make sure that everyone knows that the name Guerrero is sacrosanct! Hang on. How did you know that?
Raquel Diaz: You forget, I live and work with Aiden. He’s got a thing for words.
Chavo Guerrero: Ah si! He’s a nerd! Kidding, kidding. He’s got talent and he can cut a promo. He makes a good addition to the family! Anyhow! Our family name isn’t to be said lightly, trampled on or played down. Our legacy to wrestling is legendary. Our contributions to this industry have shaped it into what you see today!
Raquel Diaz: The comments are going wild on here!
Chavo bent down and took up the dumbbell in his right hand. He continued his bicep curls, counting each one. After fourteen he slung the weight across his body into the opposite hand and repeated the process. Again he let it drop to the padded floor below and smiled.
Raquel Diaz: Carlos Madera wants to know if you have any plans on joining any NEW companies after wrestling in the Royal Rumble this weekend.
Chavo Guerrero: My focus right now is on the commitments I already have in place. If I was going to free myself up to work for anyone it would be Wes Ikeda and his crew at EBWF.
Raquel Diaz: I think what Mr. Madera wants to know is if you have any plans on moving to Jacksonville.
Chavo Guerrero: No. I don’t plan on being lured to Florida by the child of the American Dream or the children of Vince McMahon. You won’t see me at Full Sail anytime soon and you’re even less likely to see me popping up at TIAA Bank Field. I’m working this EBWF show and then I’m going back on the road on the indy circuit.
Chavo stood up from the bend and walked over to the smith machine and started loading plates on either side.
Chavo Guerrero: I’ve got a point to prove to Elias Samson! You screw with one Guerrero and the entire Guerrero Family comes down on your head! I’m going to take him apart this weekend like he’s never experienced. Not like what he experienced at Full Sail! Not like what he experienced in the WWE. No, I’m going to make sure he’s strongest memory of EBWF and the Royal Rumble is how bad I beat him down this weekend!
Chavo stepped under the bar across the smith machine and hoisted it up onto his shoulders. He began to do squats, counting them off just like the bicep curls. About halfway through his set Raquel switched to the forward facing camera and smiled at everyone watching.
Raquel Diaz: Chavo is in this gym training to be in the best shape possible for tomorrow. We don’t have his entry number so we’re not sure how long he’s going to have to last to get a shot at Elias but he is going to last. He is going to last and he’s going to make sure Elias pays for the things he’s said. He’s going to make sure Elias pays for laying hands on me! He’s going to do everything in his power to retire Elias from the EBWF and set an example. Nuestra familia protege a los suyos. We don’t let outsiders harm the family name that generations of Guerreros have spent their careers building! We don’t back down when someone brings the fight to us. We attack! We demolish! We PUNISH anyone who thinks they can walk on us! Chavo va a acabar con Elias en Royal Rumble. La familia Guerrero esta LUCHA! Adios idiota!
Raquel spun the camera back around to focus on Chavo finishing up a set of squats. He stepped out from under the machine and walked toward the camera.
Chavo Guerrero: Tune into EBWF Royal Rumble tomorrow night on the EBWF Network if you want to see me, Chavo Guerrero Jr., toss Elias Samson over the top rope and end his chance at a Wrestlemania Main Event!
The live abruptly ended with a stream of heart emojis flying from the corner of the screen.
