The lights in the arena dimmed shortly after the show started. The EBWF Universe look around at each other when suddenly, “Sick Of It” by Skillet blasted onto the sound system. Against their better judgement, the EBWF Universe cheered out once again for the returning Darewolf. After a few short moments, PJ Black walked out onto the stage. He stopped and stood there for a few seconds. Just like at the Royal Rumble, Black soaked in all the cheers before he made his descent towards the ring. He slid into the ring and jumped onto the turnbuckles. Black feed off the excitement and howled out. He looked out at the Universe before dropping down to the mat. With a microphone in hand, PJ walked to the center of the ring. He raised the microphone up, but before he could get a word out, the EBWF Universe took over.

”WELCOME BACK!! WELCOME BACK!! WELCOME BACK!!”

The words echoed throughout the arena. PJ stood in the center of the ring and he looked out. He shook his head in disbelief as he listened to the EBWF Universe cheer for him.

PJ Black: ”Now that’s a sound I haven’t heard in a while..”

His words were brief, but they rang out and caused the EBWF Universe to erupt again. A few more moments had passed as PJ stood there in shock.

PJ Black: ”By the sounds of it, all of you missed me.. And by the looks of it, EBWF as a whole.. Has missed me.”

Black turned his head towards the stage as she spoke.

PJ Black: ”While I was held up for an entire year.. I’ve had nothing to do, but to watch..

I to watch as the championship that I worked so hard to get.. MY championship.. I had to watch as it faded to the back burner of this company. I had to sit at home and watch as invaders walked right into this company under everyone noses, and they took over. They led a rebellion.

Legion walked into this company, and who did it have to fight for it? Who stood up for EBWF?

You had five me, who by themselves, they looked like they could handle the job. They looked like they would have been able to save EBWF from the invasion. But they couldn’t even do that..”

Black stood in the ring and shook his head.

PJ Black: ”Now I know when I was EBWF World Champion, I didn’t have any friends. Hell.. I would bet that back then the entire locker room hated him. Half of them probably still do.. But when I was champion, there wasn’t any invasions. There wasn’t anyone trying to take over.

When I was EBWF World Champion, no man wanted to stand against me. No man could stand against me.

I knew it.. They knew it.. You all knew it.

Back when I was EBWF World Champion, there wasn’t a threat of an invasion because everyone from here to Orient, knew that PJ Black was the best damn wrestler this business had ever seen. They knew that it didn’t matter who they sent, they would fall right at my feet, just like so many have.”

PJ looked down at his feet. He paused for a moment before he continued.

PJ Black: ”That was then..

Now I’m a new man.. Build from the ground up, but I have been remade. I have been..

Reborn.

I came back at the Royal Rumble, not to win it, thought that is still something that I will check off my bucket list, just you wait.. Instead, this year, my goal in the Royal Rumble was to return. That is the impact that I aimed to make, and that is the impact that I did make.

So sure, Aiden English may have one. He may have punched his ticket to the greatest show of them all.. But he has to remember..

Whether it happens before WrestleMania, or after.. I will get another shot at the EBWF World Champion. And whether Aiden English is the champion at that time, or if The Miz is the champion, when I get that shot. I will get MY championship back.”

Black looked serious for a moment, but then his demeanor changed. A smirk grew on his face.

PJ Black: ”That is in the future.. Tonight it’s not about the future.

Tonight, I just...”

Black smirked as he looked up at the stage. Sudden pyros exploded on the stage as, “I Wanna Rock” by Twisted Sister blasted onto the sound system. Black screamed into the microphone.

PJ Black: ”I WANNA ROCK!!!”

His scream extended into the microphone as he arched his back. After a few seconds, the music quieted down and Black held the microphone up.

PJ Black: ”That’s right.. Enough with the serious shit. It’s time to ROCK!!

Tonight, Andrade “Cien” Almas steps into the ring with a man that he’s never faced before. A man that no one here has seen before. You may think that you know PJ Black, but tonight you won’t see the same PJ Black.

You can’t live life serious all the time, and Andrade, I’ve seen what you’ve brought to EBWF. You and your little group..

PJ instantly stumped the air in front of him as the wail of a guitar echoed throughout the arena.

PJ Black: ”That’s right, Heath’s not the only one around here that can rock. And we’re not here to be the opening act. Heath and I, we’re the headliners.

So after I send Andrade packing, again.. The Band will go on tour all over the world. Will bring the power of Rock n’ Roll to the fair ends of the globe. We’ll infuse this power into the foundation of EBWF and bring the house down!”

Black pretended to play the air-guitar as a solo played through the sound system. After a few seconds, “I Wanna Rock” blasted back onto the sound system. Black rocked out in the center of the ring like he was playing the song. The show cut away backstage where the music could still be heard.
