Evan was coming off of a hard fought win against Austin Aries, and this week he was scheduled to go up against the Path to Glory champion Ted DiBiase. Ted had been champion for just over seven months and had taken on all sorts of challengers and still held onto his precious championship. This was a time for Evan to potentially get into the title picture and pull off a major upset in his eyes by knocking off Ted. The scene was set up outside of the American Airlines Center early Monday morning as Evan had arrived to the arena bright and early so that he could get a head start in on his workout. However he stands on the entrance way of the arena as he was filming a promo to air during the Warfare event as he looks into the camera and gets the cue from the camera man to start the interview.

Evan Bourne
Here we are, about to enter the American Airlines Center which is not too far away from Cowboys Stadium which is of course where the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL play. I know it wasn’t in that arena but it was a big win this past week for the Cowboys, knocking off the heavily favourite defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants.

Evan nods his head in approval as he rubs his hands together and continues to speak.

Evan Bourne
The people of Dallas definitely had a lot to cheer about a few days ago, but tonight they will more things to cheer about as Warfare has hit the American Airlines Arena with a bunch of eventful matches scheduled, including my non-title match against the reigning Path to Glory champion Ted DiBiase. Ted’s another wrestler that was bred to compete in the ring, so I’ll have my hands full against him as he won’t shy away from bending the rules.

He proceeds to stroll back and forth at the entranceway, seemingly lost deep in thought about something as he stops pacing and speak again.

Evan Bourne
Beating Austin Aries in my match last week was a huge confidence booster for me as I had lost the Breakout title the previous week. A win tonight and I’ll be in a favourable position to receive a title shot, I know my career thus far here on the EBWF has been inconsistent with me not being able to pick up wins in bunches, but that all changes tonight when I defeat Ted and be the one to end his dominant tirade in the company.

Evan then reaches into his pockets pulling out a few bills holding them out in front of the camera before speaking.

Evan Bourne
Ted is known for being priceless, and he’s quite proud at the amount of money he has. Ted can have all the money in the world but all that dough doesn’t buy you success in the ring. Now it’s true that Ted has proved that he is capable of taking on just about anyone on the roster and coming out on top as he has the precious title in his possession, but he hasn’t gone against a superstar like myself that can take him to new heights, not to propel his career even further, but just to take him up so high and then send him crashing down with an “Air Bourne”. So Ted better keep his eyes peeled, because I’ll strike from anywhere and everywhere!

With that being said Evan does his victory sign as he sticks his index and middle finger up before stepping into the arena.
